omonla555: For wetin again? and some idiots go say Akpabio na the best Governor for Aso rockContinue to disgrace yourself in the public, it pays. |
People up till now have failed to understand that Christianity is more than a RELIGION. Pplr have become too RELIGIOUS that d become judgmental n hypocritic yet they've not even had this relationship with Christ. Christianity is very simple and sweet, but we Nigerians make it look so hectic. if we go d way we are going, then can we say undergoing CS is sin cos that's not d way God designed childbirth?? Can we saying going for eye operation is sin cos one should be contented with his God given sight?? Many of d pple saying Plastic surgery is a sin will be d 1st to go 4 one is they are bathed with Acid or have an accident if they can afford it. Like are said, our problem is RELIGION, on this same Nairaland I saw a thread saying going to church with ya Tab instead of Bible is sin, are we 4 real?? Was s bible not once a soft copy? GOD is not a man, he doesn't n won't think the way this Religious pple do. |
Chiefpriest1: Congrats to the people of Jigawa. I trust Nuhu Ribadu to always do the right thing, though he's not perfect. However, that position is too 'small'. This man needs to keep operating at the national levelContinue to disgrace yourself in public, it pays. |
billyG: Why cant we farm wheat in nigeria? if it is wheat we prefer in breadmaking instead of wasting fund on ill thoughtout programmes.somebody pls tell me can wheat grow in nigeria ? is there any agric professor in da house? Some crops can't survive in some areas due to weather n temperature. Wheat n Barley can't survive in Nigeria. |
Oya Law makers, Arrest una selfs first as I can bet my last card say over 50% of una dey use Tinted glass cars with Mopol.. This law should be ammended to vehicles that are artificially tinted..
Did u say 50%?? 99.99% of dem use tinted glass. |
Its a good thing. Most of us saying shouting don't have an idea in this field. Now if we can encourage cassava bread, this will reduce d amount of wheat we import. Though we can't have 100% cassava bread cos there is no gluten in it, it being mixed with wheat floor will reduce d import of wheat. Nigeria was once using 100% barley to brew n so much was spent on importation until d Structural Adjustment Programme(SAP) came n our indigenous Sorghum(guinea corn) was introduced to replace barley in brewing. Though it was rough at d beginning, 2day most beers in Nigeria r made with 100% Sorghum. So its a welcomed development. |
Mine was 3K (if memory doesn't fail me). It was money meant for my Jamb in 2007. I got d money n put in my wallet, when I dressed up d next day to go get d Jamb scratch card, d money was nowhere to be found till 2day. Couldn't go back to my aunt I tell her d money was gone, had to do Manual Jobs to raise cash to get d Jamb. The funniest n painful thing was that after all my sufferings, my jamb results that year was cancelled. |
See dis mumu fa! GEJ Dumb a'ss can never ever rule me or my family, only God rules! Dumb a'ss! And how do you know that either me or any of my family will rule the county? Are u God?
U just confirmed hw foolish u r. Where r u from? Niger republic? |
OP is obvious u don't know football. It has levels, those boys r good at dia level, but d will turn to clowns n dia career killed if u turn dem to super eagles. How can u say super eagles should be wiped off n replaced with dem?? Those boys can't stand Italy. There is a point in football Experience n maturity matters. For now let dem be moved to d next level, life na step by step. |
Something is fishy, You can't go to lagos thru calabar when u have enuf flights to lagos direct from Uyo, Akwa Ibom state. Even if na bus u wan use, Calabar n Lagos no dey d same route, u'll still need to pass thru Akwa Ibom from Calabar b4 u get to d lagos Route. So something is wrong somewhere. |
peppy luv: My dear this is the same questtion I ask myself everday and makes me disappointed in jona's gov,all he does is celebrate immoraliy same with some shameless governors.Even if d best Prof from Harvard is to come n address youths, d turn out won't be up to half of d pple that will come if 2face is d one coming. These celebrities have a place in d hearts of pple and there is nothing u can do abt it. Don't 4get that a Man's gifts(talent) makes a way for him. No be everybody gats chop thru book. |
Sincere brother u too much. I'm happy to see u care for dem soo much cos this thread is d onli place they can take solace...this thread is a peace house, let dem come and receive peace in dia spirits. Finally, my APC pple, its not bad to DREAM, continue DREAMING. See u when u wake up in 2019. |
jadelord: I honestly think this country is a comedy series, and the national anthem a joke, if asked my opinion from my observation from reading comments on nairaland, I'd say we break the country... and i'll glad join with d SW unless i see hope for d SS.... feeling so sickAnd seriously, we won't miss u in d SS. I'm proudly AKWA IBOM |
Iceman296: Implicate Myself in expressing my Disappointment? You must be Joking. Like i said in my Before, I wish Obiano all the Best, I Have Nothing against him but I felt Ngige was the right Man for the Job!If u can answer d question I asked sincerely, u'll know that its not an APGA or Igbo thing, its everywhere. PDP can't win a Lagos election even if dey file d most credible candidate, its everywhere so don't make it seems Anambra pple worse pass. BTW I'm not Igbo nor yoruba, I'm neutral on this. |
Iceman296: Is that what Election is All about?? Then It isn't Free and Fair then. Lemme ask You, If Obiano was in APC, Do you think he'd Stand a Chance? I guess No. The People Just want APGA to be in seat and Would Continue to Remain in Darkness!Firstly, you've not answered my question. Secondly, you've used ur mouth to kill yaself. Like you've said, if Obiano was in APC, d same You would have called him d better candidate over Ngige. You had better keep quiet, d more u talk, d more u implicate urself. |
Iceman296: Oh, That was Ngige's Mistake Right? because he Contested Through APC. That's Our Problem, We Vote Party and Not Individual Credibility.Lemme ask u a question n be sincere with ur answer. Do u think PDP can win a Lagos governorship election No matter how credible its candidate is? Don't tell me PDP have failed Nigeria n all those bla bla bla. Based on Credibility of d Individual like you've said, do think PDP can win Lagos? |
tejpot: Sharia reporters or whatever their name is, it seems they have no news at desk to report. What happened to the hundreds of roads that have been repaired all over Lagos or did the grandfather of this news company died before it was repaired? Bunch of success haters. Fashola ma base elo, Ise re ma n tewa lorun, Fashola ma base elo*** singing continuesOh!! Now SH na Success Haters. If they were taking abt GEJ or PDP they would have been d best set of journalists in d world. |
Mbok, is this not d same man that said half of Civil servants should be sacked? He's so knowledgeable indeed. |
Who's to blame? Government or the Management? |
After a meeting yesterday 12/11/2013 at 3pm of SUG with the Governing Council of the University of Uyo with Prof Kimse Okoko, the prochancellor of the university as the chairman of council, the report of the committee set-up to look into the mayheim of June 12 that led to the death of one of the students was read out as well as explained to everyone in the meeting. The reports had a lot of information but the important ones are: the cost of the damages during the riot amounted to abt 122million naira and d committee decided N15000 for each student but council negotiated and it was reduced to N7500 as a surcharge while N2500 naira was added to that of Engineering students in which they are to pay a total of N10000. The surcharge is be paid before resumption of lectures with an online undertaking to be downloaded, signed and submitted by all the students...the surcharge for engineering student was higher than others for initiating and sustaining the riot, the SUG pleaded for a flat rate of N5,000 but the council was undecisive abt it, from indication i doubt if they will do anything abt it again. It was also highlighted that a cultist group identified as VIKINGS were deeply involved in the damages and 15 rings leaders which are students have been found guilty with the punishment of expulsion from school *names were witheld*. The transportation of students to main campus will be exclusively handled by SUG as agreed in our last meeting with the management. Above all the good news is that we are resuming school immediately the strike is called off....we pray God that this will be the last riot in Uniuyo and that the resolutions by the council bring peace to the entire university. Long Live Uniuyo. Long Live Tuskers republic. |
Bro, calabar is not a state. That aside, I have to know where u r currently so I know how to help you. |
This is the reason why I lost my belief in Christianity. Christians are too quick to bring in their lords name into sentimental worldly things. When have u seen a Muslim calling Allah's name in politics related topics. Christians, y'all need to do something to restore back sanity into ur faith.
And where in d Bible did it say its wrong to pray for ur Leaders? |
To me personally, there's no way you can find GEJ's former students on nairaland. The best place to look for these former students is to check our different ZOO....
Isn't if funny that ur post is not funny?? Or do u think u r better than those that studied Zoology? |
Why are d assuming what the president may or may not do?? Must una always publish? |
[quote author=agbameta] Last time I checked, we didn't vote for the Nigerian youths to be our president and it's not their job to run Nigeria so they can have all the sex they want, the Nigerian taxpayers are paying GEJ to run Nigeria and not the Nigerian youths and the fact that they are having sex doesn't mean GEJ is not the president of Nigeria or that he has no responsibility to fight crime, corruption, terrorism and do whatever he can to make our country a better place for us all. You are mentally misguided and out of focus...
Building a better naija is our collective work. Its rather unfortunate that people with myopic reasoning like you are all over the place |
All I see is Tribalism. Naija wiil never change cos of d kind of hate we harbor in our hearts. |
Elliotwiz1: Nice one....although All these are already known, It's simple logic, we see it everywhere everyday....Bros even commonsense no too common. So shhhhh make we hear word. |
2 Trophies in in year #dancingskelewu #teamgreenandwhite. Goodluck has really brought us goodluck.
|
FKseun: Let the truth be said! What some of our brothers engage in while in foreign lands all in the name of making money is repulsive! Yes we are not the only bad/fraudulent people on earth BUT OUR POPULATION AND LIFESTYLES GIVE US AWAY! Being a Nigerian is now synonymous with drugs n fraud! Nigerians dominate the drug n fraud activities in some countries. We have taken over the whole of Hilbrow in South Africa!Na We do drugs pass Columbia?? Abi we do pas Mexico? |
Same thing happened in my house, my galfrnd did same. It no biggie. He should just be matured for once, it doesn't call for what he's doing to u. |
Did u say 50%?? 99.99% of dem use tinted glass.
