With the directive from CBN to banks for customers to update their accounts, I am sensing that some desperate 'smart' fellows have cloned all the websites of Nigerian banks and would be sending mass e-mails to lure Innocent individuals to go to the sites and update their accounts for convenience.They may go ahead to include a field in the online account update form like 'ATM CARD NUMBER' , 'PIN NUMBER' which customers may fill ignorantly and fall preys.

To avoid losing your money, please do the following:
1. Go to your bank branch to obtain the form,fill and submit.

2. Before filling any form on any bank's website, carefully verify the website URL to know if it is genuine.

3. DO NOT fill any field in ANY form asking you for your ATM card number and PIN.

This is an advice from a concerned fellow.

Nairalanders please beware and prevent being scammed in this ongoing account update by banks. I am just sensing that some 'smart' guys may go ahead to clone all the banks websites and send mass e-mails directing customers to them so that they can update their info online.They can add a new field 'ATM CARD NUMBER, ATM PIN' to their forms and people would fall prey. Please for your safety, do the following:
1. Go to a branch of your bank to update your account.

2. If for any reason,you want to update online, verify the web URL to know if it is genuine.

3. Do not fill any field in the form requesting for your ATM details.

Please this is a candid advice from a caring fellow,remain blessed.

It was a frustrating moment for former president Olusegun Obasanjo yesterday as his attempt to register in the ongoing voters’ registration was thwarted by the Direct Data Capture (DDC) machine.

Obasanjo who arrived his Ward 11, Ita-Eko, Abeokuta, the state capital at about 11.53 a.m. in company with his wife, Bola had after several rejections of his fingers by the machine offered to come back for the exercise after an overseas trip.

However, the former president who had to wait patiently for about an hour succeeded in registering after an Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Information Technology expert arrived the scene at around 12.45 p.m. and performed the registration.

Even with the presence of the INEC officials and the IT expert, the registration took about 20 minutes for the process to be completed, while the state Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC), Mr. Martins Okunfolami and other INEC officials made frantic efforts to register the former president.

You would not be issued any call up letter as all professional bodies' graduates are no longer allowed to serve,instead they are given EXCLUSION CERTIFICATES.To get yours,apply straight to the institute after which you would be given an authorization letter to go to NYSC office in Abuja to collect it.

This is a warning to anyone that buys satchet water from buses at parks to be careful.Pure water has become the easiest way through which thieves(one chance) people operate smoothly and follow up victims successfully in public buses.

MY STORY
I entered into an Egbeda bound bus from ikeja under bridge on saturday july 17,2010 after which a man joined me in the seat.He called a purewater hawker and wanted to buy a satchet with hundred Naira, the seller declined because of no change.The young man begged me to buy for him if i had change,i obliged, bought two satchets and reluctantly drank one.That was all,immediately we got to Egbeda last bus stop i started feeling tipsy and the co-passenger started dragging one of my bags containing my laptop,i shouted at him and he left,from their i immediately lost consciousness untill i woke up on monday july 20,2010 in my house at ikeja with people surrounding me,only to learn that a good samaritan(lady) saw me falling at iyanaiba bus stop,searched my trousers got my phone and luckily dialed my younger brother's number that came to pick me home to ikeja.Thank God my two laptops and other valuables were still with me.It was a great miracle.It was later i found out that the satchet water i bought at ikeja was drugged and sold by a member of the syndicate.I was a targeted victim due to the two bags i was carrying.After reviving i suffered severe hiccups due to the drug i injested into my system through the water.A woman later confirmed it as their latest technique at bus stops,where certain people that drank their water are being monitored untill they fall asleep and their valuables collected from them.Please beware of bus stop pure water because i could have been dead by now had i not been seen by the good samaritan.A car could have run over me or ritualists severe my body.God will always be glorified!

Lekki is a mess! my office is in phase one and i know how i swim almost everyday to the office due to flood and it irritates.The HITECH construction company guys also adds pepper to their injury by demolishing culverts without erecting new ones till date.Lekki stinks,but people still ride on with the name.For me,Ikeja would always remain my best abode anyday!

I was marveled last year February 2009,along Jibowu/Fadeyi road in yaba Lagos, when I saw a young man bleeding profusely with skin falling off. After much persuasions from me to know what happened, he owned up being tied to a pole, set ablaze and later freed to die 'FOR STEALING A CAR STEREO’. Trying further to find out where the incident happened to take up actions and if possible help him, he became angry and consistently hauled insults at everyone. With the degree of the injury sustained I don't think the guy made it to the next day.
