GiggsTk: Haa...quite confused boss.
While I know permits are not being processed currently, I also know we are in Nigeria and these men in uniform are notorious for asking for things that they shouldn't ask for, but I want to know how often this happens... plus when you meet them on a journey in the bush, it's you and them o, not you and what the IGP says I normally travel out of Lagos every two weeks and I’ve not had any issue with tint but since you don’t have permit, I will advise you not to risk it. I have permit and medical report |

abefeabebi: Good day to u all, to the legend in the house, please how do you go about ur savings, which method or platform is good for saving.
I personally, is saving in a corporative pending the time I will need another car which I can't even say when I will need a car and am scared if the corporative won't collapse. For now am having over 1m there since Nov last year. Is there another way of saving that is guaranteed of taking loan when the need arise and is survival is certain.
My car is just 2 years still in good condition. Is bank doing such savings method Cooperative is actually a good platform bro, but just ask for some amount to test their response time and deposit it back the following month. You digg? Personally, I save money through daily, weekly and monthly thrift then covert that to cooperative or business. |

ReadaDream: If it's not a life and death situation, don't take any trip going out of Lagos through Berger except you plan to return using EPE-AJAH route.
Wtf! I've been in this traffic since 430am! Not anywhere close to Berger. More than 4hrs now , this is terrible. You ought to have used Epe, I was in Ibadan 2 days ago when I checked the map, I just turned towards Ijebu Ode and came in through Epe. |

RaptObserver: No. Just routine inspection to be sure the car is in good shape. That was what he told me but he is a very busy man. He basically just hammered on his remittance. That he doesn't joke with it o. So the civic doesn't come with any other condition.
The corolla man is ready to reconsider his position on the weekend thing but he said he may need to use the car once in a whole for one or two days. Why are you wasting your time on the Corolla (the guy man has only that car and he’s definitely going to be collecting it once a week (probably weekend) when you have a good alternative already. |

Thurmieee: Please my people I need help. My Toyota Corolla alternator belt cut while on motion. The place was the bad place so I couldn't stop then I rugged the car to almost reach house before he come pack up. Then it's not starting again . Later the mechanic say the engine don loose pressure na to buy another one IMO, that’s a wrong diagnosis, the only thing connected to the belt that can affect your engine in a bad way is the water pump and that will leads to overheating then a burnt gasket, I advised you changed the mechanic and also check if your oil is mixed with water already, if it’s then change your gasket and the engine should come back to life |

RaptObserver: Good morning comrades.
I need expert opinion on a matter before me.
I have two offers of rentals at hand, a corolla (pure water) and a civic 07...
I need proper advice on which one to pick based on:
Profit Maintenance Ruggedness Any other useful info
The owner of corolla said I will bring the car for him every weekend and I take it on Monday to work with. I told him weekend is the main period the hustle pays that it will be hard to meet up. He said, I will meet up. IMO, Provided both cars are in good shape, taking the car from you on weekends is a no no so just go with the civic and have your peace of mind, the civic is very rugged just as Corolla but the ground clearance is a bit lower than Corolla. Other than that, civic is a very good car. |

DOVgadgets: I just came across this on their portal The car is question has some minor scratches and dents The ac works and the other things are intact Will that be a problem Abeg make una epp una boy I no wan beg for food You need to fix the dents and touch up all the scratches. The car won’t pass inspection here in Lagos but if it’s not that much, it will pass in Ibadan but be very sure it’s possible to modify the docs otherwise you’re just wasting your time with bolt. Uber will accept the car since it’s 2000 model. |

DOVgadgets: I’m taking notes boss Moving back to Lagos is no issue Na money I dy find before and about registering with bolt How can I locate their office in Lagos Uber will accept the car but bolt won’t accept this unless if you can change the docs to 2003 on the paper (dunno if that’s possible). If it’s possible to change the doc to 2003, download bolt driver app and register and make sure you choose Lagos when registering then go to the front of this popular mall ( I guess Ventura )in Ibadan for your inspection. The guys there are not as crazy as the guys here in Lagos. Download Uber driver app as well, choose Lagos when registering, you can do your inspection here in Lagos when you get in (I dunno Uber inspection center in Ibadan). Once you master those app, you can then port to inDriver. InDriver is a bit technical for new driver. |

northbird: The other day, one of us was writing to bolt customer care... I'm like. There's no point, they won't listen to you anyway....
When their revenues take a serious hit, I'm sure they will sit tight. You don't tell a blind man it's raining, if he can't see the rain, at least, he can smell or feel it. Take the case of Uber, can you imagine a whole Uber sending emails to drivers that commission has been reduced to 20%
(there's no company in the world that abruptly changes strategy, especially when it comes to their revenue, ) some months back, with different types of bonus. attached, that shows they really lost drivers to competition... I did 2 trips on bolt today (destination trips) when I noticed the surge, there’s no loyalty to any app and that’s the deal now henceforth. If there’s no surge on bolt, I can’t deal with their pricing and commission. I’ve done trips on inDriver that I cannot get the same value on bolt unless if the trips is on surge. |

MoonlightDrive: Hello pilots, please I might need to change my car evaporator. The ac technician discovered that the car cabin filter of my Corolla had been removed so the evaporator has been compromised. Passengers at the back seat complain that they are not feeling the ac even though the ac knob is at the 4th switch when the knob is put on the last or 5th switch, there is zero cooling and it makes so rattling noise. The cooling effect is okay early in the morning or at night time, but barely noticeable on sunny days. The technician has recommended a tokunbo replacement, I am more inclined to buying a brand new one. Please your experience/ advice will be greatly appreciated Thanks. Buy a new evaporator |
