This is important for those who are yet to submit not to make mistakes. If you go married in 2016 and your job at that time was working in a bank as a customer service manager, you will or should have entered in the place for profession BANKER. Now when filling this form the nice for banker and customer service are similar. A LOE stating that a generic profession of banker instead of being specific job title would pose no problem. However if at the time of marriage your profession was banker and you entered (lawyer because that's what you graduated from school with) , I think that poses a problem

What am saying in the long run is that your rNOC in your marriage certificate should be in sync with your 10years history and job history if applicable.

Someone here a different NOC on marriage certificate has held his friend back from PPR. Think about it why is your profession at the time of your marriage not the same as your work history. The VOs are trained for this job to look for loopholes.

I hope I haven't confused anyone. This stuff is important.

1. On the issue of reerence letters when HR is not yielding, are you advising that even if one's supervisor should have access to company's letter head, he/she should not use it rather write on plain paper?

2. On the PoF issue using spouse's account, is there any need for the accompanying spouse to write any declaration allowing the PA to use the instruments for PoF?

Hi -

I don't see any reason why you cannot get ITA same day as completing your Job Bank registration.

To be double sure, log into your EE profile and check that the Job Bank registration has been reflected. It will tell you on your EE profile.

As Eghosa mentioned, its actually in 2 stages;

(1) WES acknowledging they have received your documents (transcript) from school & also photocopy of your certificate.
Status will change to "Document received (review in progress)"

(2) WES will usually send a mail to your school (Nigeria school as my own case) for some verification.
When school responds and WES get the feedback, your status will change to "Document received, evaluation in progress"

Note;
At this stage , it depends on the workload at hand (at WES), it varies between 2~4 weeks (mine took 4 week - 19/20 working days);
Also you have to send them an email once or twice a week to ensure it doesn't even go beyond 2~4 weeks.


======MY TIMELINE FOR WES VERIFICATION======

> 03-Jan-2017: Paid for WES
> 04-Jan-2017: Send certificate (photocopy) to WES (via Nipost)
> 04-Jan-2017: Transcript payment to school (To be sent to WES)

Cos if your Uni is a Nigerian one they will ask for further verification of results from the University once they receive your transcripts. If it's the verification they have received it shouldn't take more than 5 working days from now. But if it's just the transcripts they received you still have some 2-4 weeks to go depending on how fast your school is to respond. If you are using a U.K. school your evaluation should be complete in 3-5 working days from now.This is based on my own experience.

Thanks for sharing the above information. Not aware of this until now.

I recommended IQAS as it may allow one to enter the EE pool more quickly, especially in view of lowered scores for ITA. No one knows when the scores may go up again.

From the information that you have provided, if one doesn't mind the cost of reevaluation upon landing, IQAS is just fine.

The ECA that I did through ICAS for my BSc in 2015 took over 6 months!

Incidentally, I had sent my MBA transcript to them for upgrading before I decided to go for IQAS to take advantage of the lowered CRS scores.

Guess I can still complete ICAS ECA later. Anyone that doesn't mind the processing time may go for WES.
