I really thank God for giving Nigeria GEJ and is God's will that Nigeria have witnessed this day.

I cant say is a good move for army to take over in Burundi cuz worst civilian rule is better than military rule.

Romance › 9 Best Ways To Protect Yourself In An Abusive Relationship: Add Yours by morereb10(op): 7:39pm On May 09, 2015
There are different meanings of abuse to different individuals, depending on how it is percieved in the individuals mind, culture, home, community, friends and family etc.

However, let’s assume the same definition; Albeit, we don’t want to be narrowly focused on single incidents. We need to look at the wider picture.

Domestic Abuse can be any form of incident (s,) which is controlling , coercive, threatening and violent. This can encompass psychological, physical, sexual, financial and emotional. This list is not limited to the types mentioned.

For the less privileged women going through this dilemma or have been through the predicament only understands too well how domestic abuse can lead to other complex situations.

Whether or not you’re ready to leave your abusive partner, there are things you can do to protect yourself. These safety tips can make the difference between being severely injured, killed, and escaping with your life.

1. Contact the domestic violence/sexual assault program in your area. They can provide emotional support, peer counseling, safe emergency housing, information, and other services while you are in the relationship, as well as if you decide to leave.

2. Build as strong a support system as your partner will allow. Whenever possible, get involved with people and activities outside your home and encourage your children to do so.

3.Be kind to yourself! Develop a positive way of looking at yourself and talking to yourself. Use affirmations to counter the negative comments you get from the abuser. Allow yourself time for doing things you enjoy.

4. Be ready to leave at a moment’s notice. Keep the car fueled up and the driver’s door unlocked. Hide a spare car key where you can get it quickly. Have emergency cash, clothing, and important phone numbers and documents stashed in a safe place (at a friend’s house, for example).

5. Practice escaping quickly and safely. Rehearse your escape plan so you know exactly what to do if under attack from your abuser. If you have children, have them practice the escape plan also.

6. Make and memorize a list of emergency contacts. Ask several trusted individuals if you can contact them if you need a ride, a place to stay, or help contacting the police. Memorize the numbers of your emergency contacts, and domestic violence hotline.

7. Come up with a code word. Establish a word, phrase, or signal you can use to let your children, friends, neighbours, or co-workers know that you’re in danger and the police should be called.

8. Know your abuser’s red flags. Be on alert for signs and clues that your abuser is getting upset and may explode in anger or violence. Come up with several believable reasons you can use to leave the house (both during the day and at night) if you sense trouble brewing.

9. Identify safe areas of the house. Know where to go if your abuser attacks or an argument starts. Avoid small, enclosed spaces without exits (such as closets or bathrooms) or rooms with weapons (such as the kitchen). If possible, head for a room with a phone and an outside door or window.

As females we should always remember that we are not to blamed for been battered or mistreated. Neither are we the cause of our partner’s abusive behavior. We deserve to be treated with respect and have happy life. - See more at: http://www.exlinklodge.com/2015/05/9-ways-to-protect-yourself-in-abusive.html#sthash.MdloIq2j.dpuf

Foreign Affairs › Russia Stages Massive World Was II Parade: See Intimidation Oo by morereb10(op): 10:19am On May 09, 2015
Russia is staging its biggest military parade, marking 70 years of victory over Nazi Germany in World War Two. Thousands of troops are marching on Red Square in Moscow, and new armour being displayed for the first time.

More than 20 heads of states are in Moscow, but many world leaders are boycotting the event because of Russia's role in the Ukraine crisis. As the event began, President Vladimir Putin said international co-operation had been put at risk in recent years.

Russia denies claims by the West that it is arming rebels in eastern Ukraine. More than 6,000 people have been killed since fighting began in April 2014 in Ukraine's Donetsk and Luhansk regions.

Abeg why boko haram or ISIS no dey go Russia? So them dey fear abi?

Politics › Nigeria Have Decided: We Will Not Go To War: Leave Us Alone by morereb10(op): 11:27am On May 07, 2015
Fellow Nigerians,

I have taken time to study recent happenings in our nation before and after the elections and I have come to conclude that there is a grand plan to start some kind of war in Nigeria. Some people thought that the last presidential election was going to be the last straw to break the camel's back but are still in shock that the presidential election has been conducted and Nigeria is still at peace even with the incumbent losing the election.

Discerning minds can see that a pattern has been set to overheat the system especially by generating so much hatred and tension between the Igbo and the Yoruba. The rate at which it is going it is looking like one week one trouble. The pattern is that there is usually a provocative comment (alleged or true) made by a prominent Yoruba and somehow this is fed to the public and when the get to know of such comments, they become overwhelmed with anger.

Just check:
Before all these started, recall that a Twitter account was identified where a young man was calling for the killing of all the Igbos. Now I believe that the picture shown on that twitter account might even be that of someone that died many years ago. That twitter account was most likely created by the wicked forces outside Nigeria that intend to spark of a bloody ethnic conflict in Nigeria.

1. The case of the Yoruba Oba of Lagos-HRH Oba Akiolu where the Igbos were threatened with death in the Lagos lagoon.

2. The case of the Yoruba cardiologist in the US where a call for genocide against the Igbo was seen on his facebook page. (He says his account was hacked)

3. Most recently the case of the Yoruba Nobel Laureate-Prof Wole Soyinka released by the Cables revealing some provocative comments about the Igbo.
I want every intelligent mind to observe this, in the case of Dr Ariyo, he said his account was hacked and I am inclined to believe that this is true. The people behind this agenda to set Nigeria on fire are most likely the same people that used his facebook account to post such hate words against the Igbo. These are the same people that opened that twitter account I mentioned earlier where a call to kill all Igbos was made.

Look at the case of Prof Wole Soyinka too, how can an organisation like the Cable release such hate speech and tagging it to this man if not that some powerful forces were behind such. It is this same group of people that want Nigerians to start killing one another that used the Cables site to release that speech. Wole Soyinka himself has denied ever making such comments.

My Igbo and Yoruba brothers, please wake up and see that there are powerful forces pulling the strings underground to cause hatred between us and the agenda is to take it to a level where it will be too much to bear and violence would be the only solution. The forces behind this ultimately want a massive show of bloodshed in Nigeria starting with the Igbo vs Yoruba. Some people initially thought that the boko haram problem up north would start a religious war in Nigeria especially when churches were been blown to pieces every week but that failed. They later on resorted to attacking Muslims in the north even in their mosques to see if that would anger the muslims enough to start a massive campaign of violence against Christians but that also failed.

Let us all be wise and open our eyes, these forces plotting to plunge Nigeria into war are likely operating outside Nigeria. The boko haram option in Northern Nigeria failed to start the needed Christian vs Muslim war and boko haram is gradually winding down activities. Let us continue to pray for this nation and keep our emotions in check so that we do not witness a sort of bloodshed in this country that would be second to none in history.

These evil forces have now shifted their attention to the Southern part of Nigeria and intend to start a campaign of massive bloodshed by starting a violent Igbo vs Yoruba conflict. We are too big to start a bloody confrontation against ourselves in this country, where do we run to for refuge? The numbers in Lagos alone can overwhelm Cotonou and even Ghana/Togo with a massive influx of refugees. How much refugees can flee through Bakassi? How much refugees can flee from the North into Niger Republic & Chad? Just with the boko haram problem Niger is already complaining and sending backing Northern Nigerian refugees.
This is the only county we have and we must do all we can to protect this country and ensure progress & development.

This message is especially for all the Igbos & Yorubas whose hearts have now been darkened and filled with so much anger and hate waiting to manifest. Let us put the evil ones to shame and ensure that their dream of an Igbo-Yoruba war does not come to pass!

GOD BLESS NIGERIA!

Romance › Most Girls Rescured From Boko Haram Are Pregnant. Is Abortion Right For Them? by morereb10(op): 5:38pm On May 06, 2015
It has been gathered that 214 of the girls rescued from Boko Haram hideout have been confirmed pregnant. (not that I'm surprised anyway).

My question is this, considering the psychological and emotional consequence of this, both long and short term, can abortion be justified in this instance??
