CAMEROONPRIDE: There are Anglophone in Cameroon ,get educatedPtshewwwwww!!! |
RSA: Same old same old Mr Mo. Six years? Ja,thts a long time. I have aged a bit,see things a lot clearer now.I see the bigger picture now but defending my Republic will always be an honour. lol!Defending your people is only a natural response. We have all aged and I do see things a lot clearer now RSA: Not a frequent user anymore, but do visit the site once in a while.youcan't blame people you respond to SA as being xenophobic when that is what is always project anymore than you can blame a SA for thinking all Nigerians are fraudster because that's what is projected to your screens constantly. The Ghana thing is too old for you to use as an example and despite that the two countries have a general understanding of each other where theyknow ehat buttons not to push when they meet. I have seen Ghananians and Nigerians sitting in room together watching a football match against each others teams and there was not a single act of violence or hostility amongst the people. Till today I am frightened to be amongst a bunch of South Africans men much less that if I were amongst a group of Angolans or Kenyans for that matter. That has to tell you something. |
CAMEROONPRIDE: how m I a fake CameroonianNot wanting to go off topic but ask yourself why you are constantly here on an anglo speaking forum and you are cameronian. How many senegalese, burkinabe, congolese or malians do you see on this forum? |
CAMEROONPRIDE: seek help. Madam?maybe you are a monsieur, no ??Same difference my anglophone speaking fake cameroonian |
eddy1977: True. Couldn't agree more.I have done a lot of business in SA as well mainly in the Joburg and Pretoria area and I can confirm what you are alluding to. It is very sad that the "suspicion" in part by SA's towards other Africans is very overt ut then again the only image they have of Africans in general are poor traveling immigrants so most assume everyone that comes to SA is of that nature and the ones who are rich or well to do got the money through some unscrupoulous manner. It all boils down to ignorance and most Black south Africans are not well travelled( this is not generalizing) hence they perception. I was reading a long walk to freedom a while back ago and noticed a chapter where Mandela had visited an African country during the struggle days where the pilot, the engineers and almost everyone that operated the airport were Black. He was greatly astonished and felt a sense of sadness for his people. Reflecting now on that chapter, I come to understand the plight of many black south africans and the ingrained reasons why they are the way they are and will simply avoid ignorance where I see it rare its ugly head and if that means associating more with "White" South Africans then so be it for my own safety and sanity. NB: there are SA's who are not like this but they are clearly in the minority but remain a beacon of hope for the country. I know my own country has many issues but i will never shy away from exploring the reasons for its complexities. It is easier to say "pack your bags and go Baeck" than to introspectively examine your society. |
CAMEROONPRIDE:so you say madam... so you say |
eddy1977: Yes sir. Didn't move to Angola, but have Angola heritage.Brother, that xenophobia thing burns me upinside like crazy. I have travelled many a country in Africa, America, the carribean and the EU and the saddest place I have been concerning the mutual respect of black people in general is SA, which is why it bothers me so much Then again you ahve to look at the history of the country in relation to other struggling "black nations" and see that its isolation contributes to the ignorance of the people especially the ones from township areas. This includes White Afrikanner people as well. From the wise words of Dr DRE Chronic 2001 " When you let animals out cages/ its dangerous /to people who look like strangers" |
CAMEROONPRIDE: HOW MANY FRANCOPHONE DO YOU KNOW?Wetin consine busy body Bamenda english speaking cameroonian that was chased out of her country with this matter. My friend stop pretending to be francophone! |
andrewza: I don't dissputed that. Many south african at least don't want forghners here(or at least the poor ones) and there are a to large a number that hate them down here.Glad you clarified. They don't want the poor ones here and most likely the "black" ones either. If a Rich Nigerian man like Dangote who makes legit money moved to Sandton, he would still be considered an intruder by other Black south africans but if an EU citizen moved here with his SA girlfriend or boyfriend... "stole" a job from a qualified SA and now enjoys all the benefits of the country, he will be glorified as adding to the SA economy. Your "people" have some serious issues to start resolving before they start talking bad about other people. iam glad as a Whie SA you embrace all of your countries complexities s we do here in Nigeria. |
eddy1977: Thank God Nelson Mandela never thought like you. eddy1977: Thank God Nelson Mandela never thought like you.Confirmation eddy1977 is from a francophone country, only them go tell you that Whiteman can help Africa, Look at what he did so far in the past 100 years. I am suspecting you are a congolese who migrated to Angola which is why you speak french and portugese..HMMMMMM? |
andrewza: Really. They very well orgonised.AndrewZA. The stats still doesn't cover up What all4 naija is alluding to in most of his posts whic is the overwhelming existence of xenophobia in black SA for other Africans which is constantly displayed in acts such as the dragging death of the mozambican and numerous other incidents that occur with poor African migrants. Remove Nigerians from the EQUATION and you will still find the exact same attitudes in Black SA ITs time they face up to the demons that hunt them from their past and understand the new world they live in post Apathied where basically they were shielded from the rest of the world and African in particular. The problems stems from the evil remnants of the attitudes of Apatheid regime which has bred ignorance, a terrible educational system for blacks, self esteem issues, lack of ability to compete in a global market and impunity for corrupt officials. SOUTH AFRICA.... WELCOME TO POST COLONIAL AFRICA!!! |
^^^^ HMMMMMM!, What smells ![]() |
all4naija: That South African blacks are not organized and the country has the world worst inequality while being the most developed country in Africa. You can't blam SA's. They like to "TOI TOI" about everything. They've been doing it for so long that they can't tell the difference between when to dialogue and when to run around on the streets singing. |
RSA: Same difference. First a countries called Nigeria or South Africa won't be existing today if it was not for Europeans. So stop all this silly mentality. Black race is a minority in the world, and we need to put our resources and our minds together if we want to survive the next 100 years.Hey RSA.. still here on nairaland huh, I knew you can't resist the urge to defend your motherland.lol You see I told you, 6 years and counting , its still the same old arguements on nairaland about Naija vs SA. We just are bred not to get along. At least I have come to that conclusion. |
^^^ lauging real hard after reading that comment. |
mzfelivisions: Hello all, I'm a foriegner living in Nigeria because of love of the culture and people. I knew from my 1st visit tht this was where I wanted to live my life.I'm a widowed mother who unfortunately doesn't look her age. My delima is that as much as l love Nigerian men, I'm afraid of them because they seem to like quarrels and controversy and to be emotionally bankrupt. It seems they assimilate the amount of Shakara a woman causes with the assumed depth and commitment to their "professed love". Where I come from, love is not noisy, its deep, trusted, and given freely. There's no price tag attached(although a man should be a man and support his household) and its definately not a trophy to be shown off or bragged about. Its a nurturing of two spirits that are becomming one. Men want to be loved and catered to, yet are incapable of loving. Its as if they don't realize that love is reciprocal and that its the love they feed their partner that they will inturn feed them back, that will nurture their children, give her the strength to run their businesses n home. Also every indication of likeness is attached to sex and trial. Is that how pertners are chosen, just by trying everyone til you find the one who does it right? What about the sanctity of a woman? Isn't she supposed to be a mans prize? His pride? How can she be if everyone has tried up until him? Please help me understand or I think I will have to remain single in Nigeria, as I've no plan of leaving the country. You should just leave Nigerian men alone if you can't understand them otherwise you will spend a life time trying to make them conform to your version of what "love" means as it is defined or expressed in your culture. PS If a Nigerian man shouts it doesn't mean he is going to be violent, infact most Nigerians are very expressive, animated and loud. A part of our culture that is clearly understood if you are Nigerian. |
pirate1: dont make me post pictures of fufu eating nigerians.Still wouldn't drench the stench |

Confirmation after 5 years that my observations are beind considered in the medical circle see below interview. Feels good to be vindicated. see below attachment from a cnn interview http://edition.cnn.com/2013/02/11/world/africa/bosede-afolabi-sickle-cell-anemia/index.html |
See the foolish "colored" inspector Botha wan spoil case o! |
andrewza: The Bantu came down from the north so have only been at most a 1000years in all of southern africa. And less for south africa.[quote author=andrewza]I serious doubt that 1000 years, could have been much longer than that. That's the usually story that is told to claim South Africa as an unoccupied landscape before White settlers hit the coastal areas and started expanding inland. The only known group to be the latest comers wiith their expansionism are the Zulu, everybody else pretty much may have been around for quite sometime. |
andrewza: even blacks downs south are lighter.Khoisan blood and undercover miscegenating from early settlers not Bantu blood! |
THose dudes are gangster!! |
