We're talking about Ghana not the US, and since when has the US been the model on how to treat immigrants? They are two different countries. They don't want Nigerians in their country, get over it, many people also do not want Nigerians in their country.

Under ECOWAS treaties Nigerian migrants are not illegal in GHANA and vice versa.


I understand putting certain restrictions on the inflow of Nigerian businesses into Ghana however for a Nigerian to take a position in support of this to me is unpatriotic and self defeating. you want people to change the country but you do not want to do anything to change it yourself.

This "minority rights" thing is just an adage. I can't find any dictionary definition that includes "minority rights" in the definition of democracy.

Neither can I find one that excludes it on paper but definitely observe this in active democracies world wide.

I don't think you want to go into a tug of war in definitions of democracy vs a republic, however it is safe to say that in contemporary terms as stated earlier it  "minority rights" are protected under a[b] COTEMPORARY DEFINITION [/b] of Democracy. If you can prove other wise with a reference or cite. I will be happy to take a look at it, otherwise

You Nigerians are very annoying and behave like spoilt brats. You people think Ghana should make special laws to suit Nigerians? Ghana has made a law for all foreigners and you Nigerians are crying foul. This indicates your lawlessness. Be prepared to leave town if you can't abide by the laws, simple. Ghana won't change its laws because of Nigeria. Ecowas did not state the amount one should pay before doing business in other countries. Every country has an amount you'll have to pay and it varies from country to country, so Mr Big Shot Nigeria, vamoose if you are too special to live by the rules!!!

WHY STOP AT THESE SUCH LAAWS WHY NOT ALSO MAKE LAWS THAT REQUIRE FOREIGNERS PAY THE GHANAIAN GOVT $100,000 before they can marry one of its citixens in an effort to protect its people from foreign blood invasion as well!

Who is attacking you. Please don't get a big head and flatter yourself. I merel y made a suggestion to you about what I feel needs to be done so we can get the country to where you and I strongly believe it should be instead o leaving this so called change in the hands of others and you rejected it.

This notion is very relevant to the issue being discussed if ghana is making moves we should be doing the same too and need all hands on deck.
