HonNL:To me, he’s not the real satan as he was just a figurehead. The real devil is Iran’s supreme leader and spiritual father. Nice speech tho. Sending condolences to the people of a man who was nicknamed “the butcher” doesn’t make him a good man. May his deeds judge him accordingly ![]() |
slaawomirr:Just the gospel truth. Learn to win small games and the league is yours. City hardly lose silly points to small teams. Guardiola can share points with the big names in the league but you see all those spoilers (small teams), he plays them with the mindset of not sharing nothing with them and he also hardly flops during the last days of the seasons unlike those two bottlers FC (Assnal and Liverpool) How TF did Assnal and Liverpool both lose to Villa and Wolves respectively on the same day? Na Assnal, Aston Villa and Tottenham give City this painful record |
Melagros:Can you educate us on how the war was supposed to be handled? Let’s assume you were the President of Israel and 1200 of your citizens were killed with many others kidnapped, how would you go about it to stop a reoccurrence of such event? Pat the terrorists on the back for a job well done because crooked organizations such as the UN and ICC say you have no right to fight terrorists who are openly supported by their host country ( Palestine) and almost every Muslim country? The difference btw Hamas and many other Terror groups is that unlike others, Hamas enjoys the open support of many religious fanatics including the whole of their host country. Even during the time of the great Osama, Afghan people weren’t so fuulish to the point of openly supporting AlQaeda despite the fact that they hosted him. It’s freedom fight when Jews are killed but becomes a genocide when it’s the Arab Palestinians that are at the receiving end. This ridiculous judgment from the ICC is tantamount to saying that Tony Blair and Bush should be arrested and Tried alongside Saddam Hussein or asking the court to arrest Bush and Osama over World Trade Center attacks for Osama and the invasion of Afghanistan and Iraq by Bush in his quest to find Osama. Did they sound like reasonable judgements to you? So if someone tries to kill me, I must be civil about how I decide to defend myself against him, right? Is that what you and the ICC are suggesting? |
LexngtonSteele:And you wan make heaven so ? ![]() |
LeeSantos:The reason is because “Na from clap dance dey start” when you tolerate eeediots too much, there will surely come a time when they will be almost impossible to tame. The Peter being better than Tinubu was like a terrible joke at first until ignorant southwestern kids (Falz, Mr macaroni and a lot of Lagos youths) started getting brainwashed to believe that the same Peter Obi under whose leadership, Awkuzu sars were killing youths like chickens, was a saint and messiah sent by god to deliver us (youths) from the clutch of wicked leaders like he isn’t one of them. Like play like play, the falsehood started gaining heavy momentum through the internet when the other candidates were being civil and going grassroots. You even claim he’s a youth and one of us. If everyone kept on playing civil and lenient, you and the fuuul would successfully brainwash our kids into believing that Obi was a good governor despite your disapproval and heavy criticism of him in 2012. |
God1000:The same Iran whose top military commanders were killed in broad daylight by both Trump government in 2020 and Israel in 2024 and nothing happened except tantrums and empty threats One would think you were talking about one serious country. A country that ended up killing hundreds of its citizens in retaliation to the US’s precision strike that killed Soleimani. Also @bolded, a wise person would know the reason for the earlier precautionary warning. Iran obviously gave the warnings to make Israel buckle up so as to not cause escalation. It was a wise move from Iran to ensure there weren’t human casualties that could warrant serious consequences. |
OkpaNsukkaisBae:You mischievously and callously ignored the fact it’s humans that were killed. Please, who have been rejecting the two-state solution and waging wars before now? The Jews? No, it’s the Arabs. They’ve been the ones rejecting the UN resolution and going to wars they would later lose. When you know how to start a war, please learn how to finish it to the end. Hamas started another one last year, killed over 1000 people like chickens but y’all ignored it like those killed weren’t humans with families, aspirations and dreams all because the perpetrators of the dastardly acts practice the same religion as you. Una dey crase well well. |
Jovi10:He’s actually a great leader. A good leader doesn’t negotiate with terrorists. May the people who have lost and are still going to lose their lives rest in peace but when every leader starts doing this, terrorism and ransoming will become obsolete because you already know that you will be killed together with the people you’re holding (collateral damage) It’s funny how nobody cries now but let’s imagine the reverse was the case. Are those Israeli victims not humans? It’s perfectly normal and okay when the causalities are Jews but becomes genocide when it involves Palestinians |
UselessBuharist:Such an irony An ibo werey saying someone likes oppressing others. The same ppl who do all sorts of stupeeed things both home and abroad so they can go home to oppress others in the village ![]() You accuse others of what you’re guilty of while talking down on other tribes but it becomes tribalistic if the reverse happens. |
When will that Agulu thief, the mister chemical reactor, react and call the project a misplaced priority? Isn’t this waste of money? ![]() |
Very Funny ambiguous answers from Atiku ![]() The interviewer tried hard to make him disclose if he’s going to be stepping down or not but guyman suddenly turned to maradona ![]() Now the question is: will the new party agree to make Peter their flag bearer? This is just a ploy to make Obi join the party and lose in the primaries. Leaving the party after losing the primary will be too late and embarrassing for him ![]() So the game plan is to use Obi as the vice presidential candidate just like 2019. Are you contesting is a simple Yes or No question and this beating around the bush from Waziri is needless and funny ![]() |
Bigkoko:Crime knows no tribe but a particular crime becomes more troubling if a particular group of people are the usual culprits. The fact that the south westerners are notorious for rituals doesn’t mean that the igbos don’t do ritual killings but you would hardly see Yorubas trying to ignore and make it look like it’s an Igbo thing. You would hardly see the Yorubas trying to absolve themselves of the dirty acts despite knowing it’s a shared culture and only the Northerners are innocents. The igbos on the other hand will never own up and accept the fact that they are notorious across the globe for being drug pushers going by statistics. The population of igbos rotting away in foreign prisons is more than the population of the igbos currently living in the south east yet the igbos still have the gut to accuse someone else of being a drug lord despite not being convicted for the crime. Your ee diotic selves are again parroting another claim that the Yorubas are fraudsters when we all know being Igbo is synonymous to dishonesty, fake, fraud, deceit to the point that Igbo/Aba-made is used to describe a knock-off version of something in the Nigerian parlance ![]() |
lilfreezy:Stop ridiculing yourself in your quest to sound smart and different. I didn’t even vote but this guy dusted every other contestant in every area of the contest despite having the shortest playtime. Neverlusen are about to break a record that even Bayern Munich have never broken before—-a feat that no team in the whole of Europe has ever achieved before and you’re trying to make it look like he got sentimental votes? Arsenal is the only team from Topflight European football that comes close but they have no European unbeaten record. Cmon, this team has just 5 draws and if they win on Saturday, their wins will be 28. Stop downplaying the efforts of other people, he deserves it more than the other strikers. Dude has had 30 goal contributions in 32 matches. Haaba fear God |
Blazetrailer:My friend, you are actually the illiterate here. What you are seeing today is actually the actual value of the Naira and what it should be since the time of Jonathan. This is not me crediting him but devaluing the naira isn’t the root cause of the problem but the troubling discrepancy in the importation to exportation ratio is. Nigeria has always had a higher demand for the US dollars and foreigners aren’t seeking to buy our naira because they just don’t need it because we aren’t PRODUCING AND SELLING tangible things to them. Your currency becomes valueless if nobody wants it. Nigeria’s economy is import-dependent. We buy virtually everything we need from abroad using the scarce US dollars. It’s that simple and it’s no rocket science. I would have thought you were economically exposed if you had said Tinubu isn’t encouraging aggressive exportation practice just like his failed predecessors but praising Buhari (another failed illiterate) is the height of it all. Buhari as how? In fact, all of them are failures including Peter Obi and Mikano, the two notorious importers. |
patrickcollins:I’m not even supporting either of them really and I started supporting Tinubu the moment people were hyping Peter Obi who was heavily criticized in 2012 (we were all here on this forum and on Twitter and everywhere) And back to what I said earlier, Buhari was a stubborn leader who listened to nobody not even his wife while he was in power. Tinubu fked up big time for even approving such an inhumane policy at this time but at least, he finally bowed to pressure from the masses. If it was during Buhari’s time, presidency wouldn’t talk anybody until after several months later. Leadership should be about listening. |
At least Nigeria now has a listening President unlike bubu. If it’s Buhari that made the policy, no amount of gnashing and screaming would make him rescind the decision and that’s what makes him a terrible leader. Good leaders listen. |
Islie:Stop using lists like this one as your waypoint for making comparisons between Nigeria and all these countries. I haven’t been to most of those countries but at least I can speak about SA and Ghana. These two countries are only progressing on papers, it’s only when you get there you will know that Nigeria is far better. I’m not making excuses for the bad state of the Nigerian economy and the government but you see that Ghanaian cedi, the Nigerian Naira will give you more value in Nigeria than the Cedis in Ghana. Don’t believe all these lists, the Naira and Cedis both have the same value in USD. The Ghanaian currency value is fake and you won’t know until you live there. Same with the South African Rand. |
Kukutente23:I left the two (even more) of you that day because I know it’s highly exhausting to try to convince ignorant people especially when they come in large number. Now that they have crossed to the final, let’s see if they are going to be lucky this time at Wembley. Again today, Borussia Dortmund conceded another 2 crossbars and 3 of their opponents’ (Mainz) shots made it to the back of their net. It could have been 5-0 ![]() What did I say about their defence on Tuesday? You can’t concede 3 goals and 8 hit-crossbars against 2 teams in just 3 matches and still claim you are tactically defensive. That’s so much an erroneous claim for a team that hardly keeps a clean sheet. What kind of defense is that? Be kiaful o my friend abeg make I no enter you this night ![]() |
geoworldedu:You are now talking trash my friend and next time, make sure you know the root of an argument before senselessly jumping into it. At least, that’s what wise people do. Both PSG and Dortmund weren’t my favorites but I made that comment according to what I observed in their home and away games. My observation was that PSG played better that night and that DORTMUND’S TACTIC WAS WACK AND NOT SUSTAINABLE because if it wasn’t a poor tactic, they wouldn’t concede 6 hit-crossbars in just 2 matches against the same team. Those were my exact words. To buttress the point I made, I gave you what they played again today against Mainz that is a much weaker team in all areas compared to both PSG and Dortmund (trophies and achievements-wise). This team beat them 3 to nil with 2 of their shots hitting the crossbar again. Good team with good defence and tactical defensive play wouldn’t be conceding that much shots (woodwork) Don’t make me insult you abeg. Next time, stop arguing about topics that are above your mental capacity. Thank you. |
geoworldedu:I purposely left you to keep ranting silly. Una no go watch match but keep relying on online analysis and full-time scoreline and na una go dey do oversabi pass . When did you start watching football? Like I said earlier this week, this present Dortmund’s defence is not a sustainable one and that they were being lucky against PSG and their match today against Mainz, a fellow German side team fighting relegation, just proved me right. Again, just like they did earlier this week in the UCL against PSG, Borussia Dortmund conceeded 3 goals and 2 hit-woodworks (would have been 5-0) thereby raising the tally to 8 hit-woodworks in just 3 matches. Are you okay at all my friend? I will tag you again when they get beaten blue and black at Wembley ![]() Your football knowledge is amazing. |
Lizzysamuel:Oh really? So you’ve finally come to terms with reality? So Gbajue is now an opposition? I thought Bateria can never be your president ![]() |
SeeWahala:E no go better for you. Yes, he takes education seriously and so well that students were out of school for 7 months during his tenure. He’s better than all the other Governors because while their own school strikes lasted more than a year, Peter limited Anambra’s own to just 7 months. Why then can’t we call him the most performing governor in the area of education? Your head is leaking.
|
geoworldedu:It’s the way you’re spewing undiluted trash with so much confidence for me ![]() Does this mean that I’m now teaching you that if a shot is able to hit any part of the crossbar (with exception to the ones pushed/deflected by the goalies), it means it has already gone past the goalkeeper? (meaning that it’s faster than what the goalkeeper could have stopped) ![]() Am I seriously having this conversation with a human? How on earth did your argument make sense to you baby girl? |
Ade1177:And to think this same guy was being compared to Ronaldo in the WC is more than ridiculous. That loss was proudly sponsored by Ramos, Donnarumma and Dembele |
Kukutente23:I love this but no, good defense wouldn’t give you the chance to even shoot at all and if you are able to, it would land softly in the hands of the goalkeeper. They were only able to block like 9 out of over 20 shots played by PSG. Also, if you watched the match, you would know that Dortmund’s defense line wasn’t really solid but PSG wwere unlucky, wasteful and have a horrible defense line and goalkeeper. |
geoworldedu:@bolded are you being sarcastic or what? You mean the goalkeeper would have saved the shots if they didn’t hit the goalpost? No vex, I should have assumed that the balls would bounce back to the goalkeepers arms instead of entering the net since the goalkeeper is the flash. How una dey take dey reason at times? ![]() How does that sound to you baby girl? Now, I understand. You eventually proved my suspicion right that nairaland freebasic is your source ![]() Have a nice day |
Ekaka14:Yeah you are right. They were very disciplined and protected their lead and yes, luck is part of football and that’s my point. I’m just enraged about how some peeps who didn’t watch the match but were following the scoreline on nairaland were saying Dortmund played better. Yes, they produced the desired result but I won’t say they produced the result as a result of their great tactic because they failed. Even FC24 commentator sef go talk say the crossbar becomes the goalkeeper’s best friend when there’s a hit-woodwork ![]() A team conceding 6 hit-crossbars in two matches against the same opponents isn’t tactics but pure luck. I wouldn’t be saying this if it’s was their goalkeeper that was saving all the shots or if PSG forwards were the ones being wasteful as a result of Dortmund’s solid defense and pressure play (though, they were wasteful) I said this same thing about Atletico Madrid when they played Dortmund in Spain. Atletico Madrid were doing what they are notorious for (bus-parking) when they were 2 goals ahead but were lucky that night. Two of Dortmund’s shots hit the crossbar and the last one hit the post in the final second of the game. Yes, luck is part of football but PSG were not lucky (you would understand this better if you’re a punter and were looking for just one goal from PsG last night) Pesin wey dey find one go con dey hit bar 4 times, no be juju be that? ![]() You will think it’s your village people that are behind it ![]() |
geoworldedu:@bolded is based on assumption. I hate it when people argue with that word “if” You will notice I didn’t say PSG would have won if their shots didn’t hit the bar 6 times. You don’t argue using assumptions. Secondly, my main point is that PSG were the better team last night. A good team wouldn’t be saved by the crossbar 6 times in two games. I would have agreed with you if PSG attackers’ shot were successfully blocked from getting to the goalkeeper or if they were saved by the goalie. Remember that A.Madrid played this same pattern with Dortmund and I can remember telling people then that Atletico were being lucky because Dortmund played better just the same way Chelsea played better football than City in the FA cup semifinal but still lost to them (though, it was all thanks to English FA, the referee, VAR and hon. Jackson of course )Atleti started parking the bus in the second half of the game just because they were having a 2-goal lead. Dortmund played really good football but were unlucky that night with 3 woodworks. They had 3 hit-woodworks and I can remember saying it that Madrid’s anti-footballing gameplay would surely backfire in the second leg because it’s just not sustainable. What I’m saying in essence is that what Borussia played yesterday is not sustainable and I don’t see that as a good tactic (nobody is saying they shouldn’t defend their lead but they failed at it) |
Kukutente23:I can’t blame you. You rely on nairaland freebasic for scoreline updates Match result/scoreline doesn’t always show who the better teams are. If one is to invest in either of the two teams last night, idiots like you will surely go for Dortmund going by the scoreline you see ![]() Who hits the goalpost 6 times in two matches against the same opponents? PSG needs deliverance and their entire defense line and Donnarumma need to be flushed. |
geoworldedu:Yes it’s was luck. I have nothing against Dortmund but they have not been impressive in the UCL so far. I wouldn’t be saying it’s luck if Kobel, their gk was the one saving the shots. Concededing 6 hit-woodworks isn’t tactics my guy. It would have made sense to call it tactical play if those shots were saved by the goalkeeper or if the opponents were shooting out wide above the bar as a result of high pressure play from Dortmund |
chriselderson:Really? With their wack anti-football gameplay? You joke too much. Well, it’s only possible if Bayern get lucky today against Madrid. Believe me, Real is lifting the trophy again if they make it to the final |
