chinavs9ja:It’s worth celebrating and no, there are bad cops everywhere. These men should be given national honor and cash to uplift their spirit and to encourage others. Sane societies are built by incentives and by compensating merits and good conducts. It will be very wrong if they aren’t given even more financial inducement. |

People should be calming down. As much as I don’t support these pastorpreneurs, he never claimed his post was a prophecy but I’m sure his ministry would have been filled to the brim by gullible sheeples if Nigeria had won the match . Be calming down pls |
Sports / Re: AFCON2023 : the 3 Best individual Player awards by Morphinne: 8:45am On Feb 12 |
CoolAmbience:You are very wrong here about Osimhen. You don’t blame a striker who’s not fed enough by his wingers and midfielders. The Nigerian team lacked cohesion and communication. Just imagine Osimhen was the one getting those long balls played by South African midfielder and wingers to their strikers. A striker is nothing without midfielders feeding him the ball. Iwobi and Zaidu should be given life ban from football. Zaidu even tried a bit. At least, his deflected shot led to the corner kick that produced our first goal. Iwobi on the other hand was just running around like a headless chicken, zero sense of attack and space. Too lazy to charge at players. Also the coach is to blame. Dude kept starting Iwobi like the latter had his nudes. He started playing the already out-of-fashion Mourinho tactic. Parking the bus at 60th minute was antifootball. In all, the better team won. Though they were openly the referee’s favorites but they played better football. |

Some of you believe you can just spew rubbish just because this is a faceless platform—you are not as invisible as you believe you are. This is one of the bad side of the Internet; it affords pathological eedi0ts an opportunity to air their senseless opinions but it’s okay, your own will soon come and we will all gladly say you deserve it because you spew loads of trash on the internet. Foreign Affairs / Re: Mossad Agents Disguised As Women, Doctors, Disabled, Nurses To Kill Terrorists by Morphinne: 1:57pm On Jan 31 |
nairalanda1:Yes you are right. I support neither of the two parties involved because they are both wrong, though, to different degrees. Israel have been killing them but did the killings just start yesterday without a reason? No, the Arabs started it when a proposal was made to return Jewish people to their ancestral land which was already occupied and named Palestine at the time. The Jews never intended to take the whole of Palestine as Gaza and Jerusalem were not included in this newly created state. The proposal was to create two states recognized by universal laws I.e the States of Israel and Palestine but what did their Arab neighbors do? They violently opposed this resolution and subsequently went into bloody war with Israel but as fate would have it, Israel won that war and many subsequent wars waged by the Arabs and since then, Israel has been seizing more and more lands from them (Gaza, Golan Heights, Jerusalem etc) Lesson learned from these events is that violence is not the best solution to resolve an issue as nobody enjoys violence monopoly, na where your own madness stop na him another pesin just dey start. Jews are not Christians or Hindus that can be bullied anyhow. They should have sorted it out through peaceful channels. If you go on an all-out war with me and I eventually come out victorious, believe me, nothing on this God’s green earth will ever make me return your seized lands to you because I already acquired them by right of conquest and it’s not a crime. Next time, if you must shoot at the devil, please better don’t miss. |

nairalanda1:@bolded is the reason for my annoyance. Don’t you think it’s more sensible and more appropriate to direct your earlier admonition to those who took the fight to the hospital in the first place? Yes, you just ended your argument with what you should have said first. Blame the people who failed to respect human lives by taking the fight to the hospital and not the ones who were only reacting and acting on an intel that their killers were hiding in the hospital. What you just did in your earlier comment is an ugly behavior typical of hypocrites; they leave the causatives while attacking those affected. It’s not a crime to be stronger than your enemies. |

Most Nigerians have very short memory span and also derive joy in praising an immediate past government. So nobody is talking about how much an American dollar note was at the time this dunce took over the mantle of leadership of the CBN and how much it became when he left. Now they are stylishly praising |

Sports / Re: AFCON: ‘The Lion Of Africa’ – CAF Gives Osimhen New Name by Morphinne: 11:09pm On Jan 28 |
skywalker240:Chairman, I’m not even concerned about their agenda (If there’s any) but particularly concerned about what the commenter wrote “ Una don start. But when the British hail their own players now, u call it overhype” That expression made it look like the boy was being overhyped just like the British media are fond of doing and that we would have called it overhyping if those Britons were the ones hyping their players forgetting that British media are not the same as UEFA. In this case, CAF should be compared to UEFA as UEFA are the federation in charge of European football as CAF is to Africa. His point might be deemed correct if the hyping was coming from the Nigerian media. |
Sports / Re: AFCON: ‘The Lion Of Africa’ – CAF Gives Osimhen New Name by Morphinne: 11:01pm On Jan 28 |
MisterBanny:No sir, you’re the one having difficulty expressing yourself because what you wrote there was very unnecessary and irrelevant. I know English Language is not our mother tongue but please, read what you wrote again (the first paragraph) and correct it because it seems that’s not what you were trying to convey |
Sports / Re: AFCON: ‘The Lion Of Africa’ – CAF Gives Osimhen New Name by Morphinne: 2:37pm On Jan 28 |
MisterBanny:No sir, your comparison is very wrong. This is the body responsible for Africas football hailing him and not the Nigeria’s part of the body. Who even told you he doesn’t deserve the hype? The analogy that sits well is when the European football federation is seen hyping one European player who has had an outstanding tournament or season. The Englishmen’s hyping of mediocre players is different from this, they hype players who are english and even when such players don’t really deserve the hypes Be happy my friend, no be every matter suppose dey make una bone face |

Car Talk / Re: You Shouldn’t Own A Car If You Are A Tenant — Financial Guru Advises Nigerians by Morphinne: 12:52pm On Jan 26 |
I have no problem with her but with the person who termed her a financial expert. If not that Nigeria is not a working society, being mobile should be grouped under the most basic things everyone should possess regardless of financial and social status. It should be in the classes of food, air and water but in Nigeria, cars are seen as achievements all thanks to our currency and leaders who have failed to transform Nigeria into an export and production-based economy. The argument of owning a car before building a house or vice versa is never a one-size-fits-all affair as it is a decision that should be taken based on the environment you find yourself. In Switzerland and many other European countries for instance, using public transportation is cheaper than owning cars but same can’t be said of places like our Lagos. One thing is certain, cars in Nigeria will surely open doors of opportunities for you if and only if you know how to utilize them to your advantage. While in sleepy places where there are no much hustling and bustling going on (places like Bayelsa, Osun, Ebonyi, Borno, Imo and Ondo for instance) you can prioritize having one or two houses before considering getting a car. In short, owing a car in commercial spaces like Lagos is not a liability, it is an asset—a working asset. 1 Like |

Cars are personal! Your car is personal!! Cars are personal!!! You don’t give out your cars to ppl just the same way you would never lend out your wife to someone for few days! I easily differentiate between car owners (pesin wey sweat buy moto with him hardearned money) and borrowers by the way you drive on bad roads and by your reaction when a car’s belly hits the ground😂 Sorry OP, sure you’ve learnt your lessons. Some things are just not to be shared and your car should be one of such things; it should be treated like a used toothbrush. There's this mistake most car owners make. It’s better you don’t even start it at all. Make it a known habit to not give ppl your car from start because it’s better and easier that way than you later trying to stop it. |

Politics / Re: FAAN Confirms Relocation Of Headquarters To Lagos, Gives Reasons by Morphinne: 1:31am On Jan 19 |
troytino:My friend, at times, sentiment and your hatred for someone should be put aside so your brain can work properly. Firstly, their headquarters was in Lagos before it was needlessly moved by the Buhari administration around 2020. Secondly, you should have taken your time to read through the reasons they listed and reasonable people would agree that the reasons listed were indeed genuine. It’s baffling to see how you complain about wastage of public fund yet still complain about things like this one. What this ultimately shows is that you never meant well for Nigeria to start with. People who are right in the heads know that this has nothing to do with tribalism. What’s happening is more like you paying millions of naira on a small one-room apartment when in actual reality, you have 5 mansions in another city. Cry harder, we all know where all this is coming from 6 Likes 1 Share |
