It could also mean the economy improved in those G20 countries. India's economy is booming and the UK delivered Brexit.

As for Nigeria... 2 words... Air Peace.

You guys need to change this archaic mindset. Here in Nigeria, nobody discriminates and in fact, we consider every black person we see as Nigerian. Nobody has the ample time to start looking for who is Nigerian and who is not.
We don’t even disturb other nationals for their travel documents once they’ve crossed our borders.
I noticed same thing in Ghana, they’re mean just like you xenophobic South Africans . The only countries that are not guilty of this sickness are the republic of Benin, Togo, Burkina Faso (very nice ppl) Senegal (IMO and from personal experience) Why are you guys being insecure about black foreigners?

How can Hamas militants enter Israel and kidnap more than 100 Israeli soldiers without Israel knowing.
Something is not adding up.This particular war might be the worst that Israeli's have fought since their independence.
My heart goes to all the civilians, I really feel for them, imagine Israel blocking their means of getting food, healthcare nd water,so sad.
This is not the first though.
They’ve fought major wars on 7 different occasions in the past. This is just yet another day in Gaza. This is a never-ending struggle. I’m definitely not taking sides with the religion of piss terrorists but you don’t take people’s lands while caging them like animals and expect them to not fight back.
Palestine is the only country in this century still being colonized by another country yet everyone is acting blind while the Christians (e.g Igbo Nigerians) see it as a case of “the enemy of my enemy “ not knowing that there are Christians and Catholic people in Palestine grin
I’m even surprised that this latest conflict is getting this much attention because the world doesn’t care normally since it's not Ukraine .
If we condemn Russia for doing what they are doing to Ukraine why then should we praise Israel for doing the worse to another sovereign country whose only crime was that they were too nice to welcome and accommodate fleeing European Jews during World War II?

. This is a lesson to all, never let a visitor get too comfortable in your house, it’s a survival plan and not wickedness.
In fact, make everybody (including our Nigerian Christians and Muslim extremists) getat, we are Africans and we don’t give a f*ck about whatever the Arabs and Jews decide to do with themselves. Do they even care about us?

You are the one spilling trash...
So Israel was blind they didn't see them practicing the invasion? It was a trap, it's common sense. The only thing Israel might be regretting is not knowing the bastard terrorist 'll attack civilians. Israel now every justification needed to wipe out the entire Gaza for good but still showed humanity to ask their civilians to leave and give them time, 'll the Hamas do the same if the table was turned? Now you're saying Israel "must" work for two state solution like Israel's is in anyway obligated to do so. You must be very delusional. Palestine should ostracize the Hamas or kill them all and then come beg Israel for settlement and we might then consider. Nonsense!
Who be this one? grin

Israel is just an overhyped military power in ME. If a rag tag militia group can take such time to prepare & invade Israel unaware, I wonder what big boys like Iran & Turkiye will do to them.
Exactly what I was saying in the other thread when some kids were saying that Israel purposely allowed the attacks. Now other bigger countries/arab enemies have known that Israel also has weaknesses. They shouldn’t have allowed the attacks. If ordinary ragtag militia could inflict this much damages, what then would happen if a repeat of the six-day war should happen today?
The US should leave that hypocritical Ukraine war alone and face these ppl to negotiate a lasting solution in good faith for both parties and must take a non-Partisan stance. I wish and hope sleepy Joe will be able to handle this. Peace

Hamas built a mock Israeli town in Gaza and practiced its attack in plain sight — but Israel didn't react, report says

Even a toddler would know that Isreal let these people attack so that they can have every justification to wipe them off history for good grin
You people just come online and start capping beer-inspired træsh🚮 . Those attacks were a very bad PR for Israel and no country of its caliber would do that just to justify attacking ragtag militias. Do you think Israel or Russia would be willing to kill over 300 of its citizens just to justify attacking Ukraine? Doing so would only make Russia look weak and their intelligence agencies would be seen as paper tigers. If Zelensky mistakenly tries that, believe me, Russia would stop at nothing to make sure Ukraine is wiped off in order to save face to maintain the strong warning that nobody attacks mainland Russia and live.
Do you know how badly the Mossad would have wished this never happened? Do you know that it’s a big blow on the faces of the developers of the Iron dome system as well as the US government who had spent trillion of dollars to make it works? Believe me, nobody wants this kind of bad PR when it’s not that this is the first time Israel would be attacking Gaza and Palestine. Now every shitty ragtag terrorist would be surprised that so the great Israel also bleeds.
Hamas must be severely dealt with as not every issue is to be settled using terror. Israel also must work towards the actualization of the two-state solution if that will bring a lasting solution to the enmity.

So in essence before the the second world War the Jews has no homeland?
Yes! they had no homeland in modern history. The Palestine where they’ve become the landlords today was the only Arab country that opened its arms wide to accommodated them when they were forming “woke and accommodating”
A portion of the modern-day Palestine believed to be the sight of the ancient Israel was given to them to serve as a permanent homeland for them to avoid a recurrence of what happened during the holocaust. The world started pitying these Semitic people and maybe the rainbow people too just after the mass killings of 1941-45. So before that time, the Israelis had no known homeland and what the Americans did is akin to giving a large portion of the modern-day Yoruba lands of Oyo, Osun and Lagos to the Benin people of Edo state going by the historical belief that they originated from the ancient Ife kingdom and expecting the Yorubas to not fight back but to accept it in good faith. That’s exactly what’s happening between these two Semitic brothers.
I will still blame the Muslims for fighting for their cause and heritage through the use of terror but while doing that, let’s not pretend as if the Israelis did and are doing the right thing. It’s a two-wrongs situation my brother.
Foreign Affairs / Re: The Iron Dome: Israel’s High-Tech Eye In The Sky by Morphinne: 1:08pm On Oct 09, 2023
Toktee:
So where were the Jews before the Holocaust?
There were scattered all over Europe in places like Poland, Austria, Germany, Belgium etc.
Their large concentration in Germany/Western Europe was why it was easy for the German dictator, Adolf Hitler to easily round them up for slaughtering. This series of events was very instrumental in the creating of Israel to unify the Jews who were scattered all over Europe and the Americas.

You should also know that the history of the contested area predates 1945.
Israel and Palestine live side by side since Bible time.
So I advised you and yours to stop referring to Israel the way you do.
I know sir/ma. I was only telling him what led to the conflict today. The modern-day Israel was created in 1948 after the holocaust and in fact, the holocaust was what made the world start being sympathetic to the Jewish cause.

Your question is the reason why I admonished you to stop diving into discussions that you know nothing about. A person versed in international politics wouldn’t ask this question and I don’t have the energy to start schooling you. It’s a long story that dates back to 1945-48. Take care.

DMerciful:
If not Palestine terrorism from time immemorial, we would have had two states living side by side peacefully
Well, I guess you might be right. The two-state solution might have been adopted if Hamas hadn’t resorted to using terror. Hamas is causing them more damages. Over 300 Israelis are dead already and it’s only natural for Israel to react strongly.
Nobody except hypocrites is saying Israel is doing the right thing but Muslims need to learn that terrorism is not the right way to settle issues.
Also, I think it’s Israel that’s blocking the two-state solution proposal and not the Palestinians even when we all know that the proposal is still unfair to the Palestinians.
Just imagine Fulani herdsmen asking you to split your ancestral land into two to accommodate the both of you. That doesn’t make sense, right? But I don’t think the Palestinians are even against it even though it’s still unfair to them but still a million miles better than this oppression and suppression by Israel. Remember during the last World Cup, we heard that Palestinians had to take permissions from Israel before being allowed to travel to Qatar to watch the tournament (a sovereign country taking permission from another country before her citizens could travel ) yet Israel is allowed in every tournament while Russia is banned for seemingly doing the same thing.

Since you supported the creation of ESN to combat Fulani militias trying to overrun the southeast (allegedly) why then are you against an oppressed people (Palestinians) whose only sin is that they accommodated land grabbers and expansionists who think they can just claim other people’s lands and heritage since the US and the rest of the world (and Igbo Nigerians especially) are chronic hypocrites who see nothing wrong in this but are ever condemning South African Apertheid regime, Russia’s occupation of Ukrainian territories and Fulani militia occupation of people’s lands?

No justice in the world

Everyone with sense knows the pains of Palestine

Even Nigeria that is not talking is simply because of hypocritical reason and not wanting wahala from America

I asked my IPOB friend;

Why do you support Biafra Secession trying to force Niger Delta and middlebelt. Without referendum

But

Support Apartheid in Palestine

.
We are living in a pathetic world where hypocrisy has become the order of the day. I’m not trying to make this tribal but igbo people of Nigeria and on this forum are always happy each time Israel strikes Palestine even when we all
Know the Israelis are the oppressors here, trying to claim another people’s homes and heritage yet they condemn Fulani militias for doing the same in Benue, Taraba, Southern Kaduna, the southwest and some parts of southeast.
It’s highly hypocritical and disdainful to not condemn the Israeli occupation of the Arabs ancestral land but we condemn Russia for seizing Crimea from Ukraine even though the people of Crimea already had a referendum in support of the move to be with Russia.
I don’t support the terrorists’ killings of innocent Israeli civilians but let’s not act blind like we don’t know what led to these series of crisis rocking that part of the world.

If betting is criminalized, I don’t see reason why forex and crypto trading aren’t declared illegal.

I’ve always known this ape to be the most sens*lss among Obi’s online misguided followers. How on earth did she end up blaming and accusing the same Tinubu, who has been at the receiving end of insults and blackmail since the beginning of this certificate nonsense, of bringing embarrassment to the country?
Who paid lawyers and spent millions asking for the embarrassment in the first place? Who hurled insults at CSU and called them out on Twitter for not making public the certificate documents?
Who deserves an unreserved apology here?
You all accused him of certificate forgery (an allegation he had promptly denied) unsatisfied by his denial, you continued abusing every legal process together with insults to force the institution into releasing the said documents and after they released them, you turned back again to accuse the supposed victim of bringing shame to the country despite being innocent (since what he said earlier eventually turned out to be true)
Is this country real at all? Are you guys normal? Like, who is the victim here? Who asked for the embarrassment? Who carried our civil matter to the US?
Oby, if you are reading this, just know you are irredeemably m*d and have no one to tell you just yet.

My friend, if cement is monopolized in Nigeria, only one group would be given the exclusive right to manufacture and distribute them and as such, there would be nothing like BUA, Dangote and Ibeto, Lafarge and about 3 or more others.
Who even started this monopoly nonsense sef? grin grin

Humans are indeed funny creatures. The Ipob Jews of Biafra hate Soyinka who was one of the most active voices fighting the then military government over their involvement in the humanitarian crisis rocking the region at the time and as a result of the Biafran war. The same set of people can kill to support a man who is supposed to be stoned if one is to revisit all the evils he did to this very region.
The ibos have forgotten the massacre committed by Obasanjo simply because he’s now supporting bitter Obi grin What this means is that human life is worth next to nothing in ala Igbo once you know how to play with their empty heads. What happened btw 2020 and now are a great testament to this fact. Nobody complained when people Igbo youths were being slaughtered like worthless pigs in Akwuzu under Obi but everyone has always been feeling concerned when real humans are killed or reportedly killed in other regions showing that human lives aren’t equal grin

Some peopl are useless. Here is a Nigerian comparing a convicted felon to GEJ.
A drug dealer, a terrorist rulimg over them.
Not surprising seeing soldiers calling ahead to clear the road for fulani terrorists
Let me address this once and for all, being influential doesn’t necessarily mean one is an angel. For example, Adolf Hitler is one of the most influential people in the history of mankind but was he a good man?
Ibori, being a convicted felon doesn’t mean he can’t be influential. Influential simply means to be powerful.
To the topic, when it comes to influence wielded by both men, it’s an insult comparing GEJ to Ibori (being respected doesn’t mean you are influential/authoritative) GEJ may be more respected but James Ibori has more influence in that geo-political zone than GEJ.
