germanized:U are the one to make more findings here bro, I follow train everyday from Ijoko to Oshodi, we don't blame govt for everything, govt provides enough ticketers in all the terminals but some Nigerians are just lazy, most of them don't come on time...like this morning only one ticketer was selling tickets while we know they have more than 6 persons that always sell ticket in the terminal. Then there is Monthly pass sold for 8k to make life easier for passengers. Its good to always make findings bfre conclude on government performance. Our problem is corruption, some people are sabotaging govt efforts, I leta heard that the ticketers always come late so they can make more money in the Coaches when cash will be collected from passengers and won't enter in govt account |
Blue3k:They do monthly ticket I say it this morning when the checker was checking our tickets. Some people just jump into conclusion just to discredit the government without doing any findings. So what's wrong in queuing |

The Nigerian Pastor won't talk about Usain Bolt or Serena Williams. They won't talk about late Dora Akunyili or Tony Elumelu. The Nigerian pastor wont talk about Steve Jobs or the young people in Silicon Valley reshaping our world. They won't talk about young American scientists spending endless hours in search of a cure to a disease that's predominantly in the Tropical African region. The Nigerian pastor won't talk about Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie or Ben Okri. In every corner of the world, there exist young men and women who has defiled all odds and became successful through hardwork, creativity and dedication... The Nigerian pastor wont talk about them......neither will he ask his members to emulate the spirit of these individuals. He would rather talk about sister Agatha who got a job she WAS NOT THE MOST QUALIFIED because she prayed and fasted in line with their church program. Or Brother John who became a millionaire because he used all his salary as a seed in the church. Or Papa Miracle who he laid his hands on and 3 of his children got admission in the university Or Mama Esther paid her tithe and her business started growing everywhere across the nation......no business plan, just boom, everywhere. This has led to a new breed of mentally lazy young people who now see God as a rewarder of mediocrity. To the Nigeria Pastor, the only way to prosper is by paying your tithe and sowing seeds in the church. So they will never talk about those who has through hardwork and dedication placed theirselves in the world map. No......the Nigeria God only blesses the first 30 people that rush to the altar to drop 100,000 as seed. The Nigeria God abhors hardwork and creative thinking, He only gives to those who sow seeds and offerings......and those who shout "i am a millionaire" every morning and do nothing the rest of the day. Continue.... you want God to come down and help you use the talent He gave you and bless you because you are going to church to shout "Daddy I receive it" You all jokers. Can someone tell these jokers that irrespective of your creed, faith or religion, blessings and favours follows you once you start using your talent and become useful to your society. God doesn't owe you N5 |
Nelson Mandela, former South African president, wrote a personal awesome story: After I became president, I asked one day some members of my close protection to stroll with me in the city, have lunch at one of its restaurants. We sat in one of the downtown restaurants and all of us asked for some sort of food..._ After a while, the waiter brought us our requests, I noticed that there is someone sitting in front of my table waiting for food. I told then one of the soldiers: Go and ask that person to join us with his food and eat with us. The soldier went and asked the man so. The man brought up his food and sat by my side as I asked and began to eat. His hands were trembling constantly until everyone had finished their food and the man went. The soldier said to me: the man was apparently quite sick. His hands trembled as he ate !! "No, not at all," said Mandela. "This man was the guard of the prison where I was jailed. Often, after the torture I was subjected to, I used to scream and ask for a little water. The very same man used to come every time and urinate on my head instead"...; so I found him scared, trembling, expecting me to reciprocate now, at least in the same way, either by torturing him or imprisoning him as I am now the President of the State of South Africa... But this is not my character nor part of my ethics. The mentality of retaliation destroys states while the mentality of tolerance builds Nations. |

A successful businessman was growing old and knew it was time to choose a successor to take over the business. Instead of choosing one of his Directors or his children, he decided to do something different. He called all the young executives in his company together. He said, "It is time for me to step down and choose the next C.E.O. I have decided to choose one of you." The young executives were shocked, but the boss continued. "I am going to give each one of you a SEED today - one very special SEED. I want you to plant the seed, water it, and come back here one year from today with what you have grown from the seed I have given you. I will then judge the plants that you bring, and the one I choose will be the next C.E.O." One man, named Jim, was there that day and he, like the others, received a seed. He went home and excitedly told his wife the story. She helped him get a pot, soil and compost and he planted the seed. Every day he would water it and watch to see if it had grown. After about three weeks, some of the other executives began to talk about their seeds and the plants that were beginning to grow. Jim kept checking his seed but nothing ever grew. Three weeks, four weeks, five weeks went by, still nothing. Everyone else had trees and tall plants, but he had nothing. Jim didn't say anything to his colleagues, however, he just kept watering and fertilizing the soil - he wanted the seed to grow. A year finally went by and all the young executives of the company brought their plants to the C.E.O. for inspection. Jim told his wife that he wasn't going to take an empty pot. But she asked him to be honest about what happened. He took his empty pot to the boardroom. When Jim arrived, he was amazed at the variety of plants grown by the other executives. They were beautiful -- in all shapes and sizes. Jim put his empty pot on the floor and many of his colleagues laughed, a few felt sorry for him! When the C.E.O. arrived, he surveyed the room and greeted his young executives. Jim just tried to hide in the back. "My, what great plants, trees, and flowers you have grown," said the C.E.O. "Today one of you will be appointed the next C.E.O.!" All of a sudden, the C.E.O. spotted Jim at the back of the room with his empty pot. He ordered the Financial Director to bring him to the front. Jim was terrified. He thought, "The C.E.O. knows I'm a failure! Maybe he will have me fired!" When Jim got to the front, the C.E.O. asked him what had happened to his seed - Jim told him the story. The C.E.O. asked everyone to sit down except Jim. He looked at Jim, and then announced to the young executives, "Behold your next Chief Executive Officer! His name is Jim!" Jim couldn't believe it. Jim couldn't even grow his seed. "How could he be the new C.E.O.?" the others said. Then the C.E.O. said, "One year ago today, I gave everyone in this room a seed. I told you to take the seed, plant it, water it, and bring it back to me today. But I gave you all boiled seeds; they were dead - it was not possible for them to grow. All of you, except Jim, have brought me trees and plants and flowers. When you found that the seed would not grow, you substituted another seed for the one I gave you. Jim was the only one with the courage and honesty to bring me a pot with my seed in it. Therefore, he is the one who will be the new Chief Executive Officer!" An elderly Chinese woman had two large pots, each hung on the ends of a pole which she carried across her neck. One of the pots had a crack in it while the other pot was perfect and always delivered a full portion of water. At the end of the long walks from the stream to the house, the cracked pot arrived only half full. For a full two years this went on daily, with the woman bringing home only one and a half pots of water. Of course, the perfect pot was proud of its accomplishments. But the poor cracked pot was ashamed of its own imperfection, and miserable that it could only do half of what it had been made to do. After two years of what it perceived to be bitter failure, it spoke to the woman one day by the stream. 'I am ashamed of myself, because this crack in my side causes water to leak out all the way back to your house.' The old woman smiled, 'Did you notice that there are flowers on your side of the path, but not on the other pot's side?' 'That's because I have always known about your flaw, so I planted flower seeds on your side of the path, and every day while we walk back, you water them.' For two years I have been able to pick these beautiful flowers to decorate the table. Without you being just the way you are, there would not be this beauty to grace the house.' Each of us has our own unique flaw. But it's the cracks and flaws we each have that make our lives together so very interesting and rewarding. You've just got to take each person for what they are and look for the good in them. SO, to all of my cracked pot friends, have a great day and remember to smell the flowers on your side of the path! I enjoyed this story I believe you'll do. |
There was a very brilliant boy. He always scored 100% in Science. Got Selected for IIT Madras and scored excellent in IIT. He went to the University of California for MBA. Got a high paying job in America and settled there. Married a Beautiful Tamil Girl. Bought a 5 bedroom big house and luxury cars. He had everything that makes him successful but a few years ago he committed suicide after shooting his wife and children. So, WHAT WENT WRONG? California Institute of Clinical Psychology Studied his case and found “what went wrong?” The researcher met the boy’s friends and family and found that he lost his job due to America’s economic crisis and he has to sit without a job for a long time. After even reducing his previous salary amount, he didn't get any job. Then his house installment broke and he and his family lost the home. They survived a few months with low money and then he and his wife together decided to commit suicide. He first shot his wife and children and then shot himself. The case concluded that the man was: Programmed for Successes but he was not trained for Handling Failures. Now let us come to the actual question, What are the habits of highly successful people? First of all, there are many people who will talk to you about success habits but today I am saying to you, even when you have achieved everything, that there is a chance to lose everything, nobody knows when the next economic crisis will hit the world. The best success habit according to me is: Getting trained for handling failures. I also request every parent, please not only program your child to be successful but teach them how to handle failures and also teach them proper lessons about life. Learning high-level science and maths will help them to clear competitive exams but a knowledge about life will help them to face every problem. Teach them about how money works instead of teaching them how to work for money. Help them in finding their passion because these degrees will not help them in the next economic crisis and we don’t know when the next crisis will hit the world. |

VERY BEAUTIFUL & AMAZING STORY !!! Once a man saw in his dream, that a lion was chasing him. The man ran to a tree, climbed on to it and sat on a branch. He looked down and saw that the lion was still there waiting for him. The man then looked to his side where the branch he was sitting on was attached to the tree and saw that two rats were circling around and eating the branch. One rat was black and the other one was white. The branch will fall on the ground very soon. The man then looked below again with fear and discovered that a big black snake had come and settled directly under him. The snake opened its mouth right under the man so that he will fall into it. The man then looked up to see if there was anything that he could hold on to. He saw another branch with a honeycomb. Drops of honey were falling from it.The man wanted to taste one of the drops. So, he put his tongue out and tasted one of the falling drops of honey. The honey was amazing in taste. So, he wanted to taste another drop and then another and as a result,he got lost into the sweetness of the honey. He forgot about the two rats eating his branch away, the lion on the ground and the snake that is sitting right under him. Suddenly when the branch broke he remembered all the dangers woke up from his sleep. Since this was an unique dream, the man went to a pious scholar of christian to know its meaning. The scholar said"The lion you saw is your death. It always chases you and goes where ever you go. The two rats, one black and one white, are the night and the day. Black one is the night and the white one is the day. They circle around, coming one after another, to eat your time as they take you closer to death. The big black snake with a dark mouth is your grave. It's there, just waiting for you to fall into it. The honeycomb is this world and the sweet drops of honey are the luxuries of this world. We like to taste a little of the luxuries of this world and it's very sweet. Then we want to taste little more and then more. Meanwhile, we get lost into it and we forget about our time, we forget about our death and we forget about our grave."May God almighty wake us up from the sleep and save us before it's too late. Now you have two choices 1. Claim this by writing "Amen 2. Ignore if you never wanted to Wake up. Gudmornin |
