JPes need to come out and tell us who cut soap for him. Mourinho?
TBH, I was completely knock off by that Bright's substitution. It was brilliant and unexpected. The icing on the cake would have been Bright grabbing a goal or an assist from the chance he fluffed.
BTW what was JPes sniffing during the PK? |

daveP: Macleans dey Blessing Nkor dey The makeshift don taya me. These two can fill in imo. But no sign of call up any time soon. Nothing is exciting me right now than how packed that midfield is.
Ayinde deputy don dey ground anyway. That's the joy. Like i said, we going to miss her alot. Baller. I like Macleans too especially her build. However she needs more exposure in a competitive league. |

In what way have the homebased players shown they're ready for the national team? Infact, any home based player that got called up will just use the SE as stepping stone to sign for one club in Kuwait or Kazakhstan |

If it were those North African host oga wether group stage or knockout stage them go fine way beat us It eas a joke though but hopefully we will defy all odds and win. And if we draw, could 2013 AFCON be repeating itself? |

EEGA: The formation/tactics below is the only one that can give us a win with a margin of 3.
............Nwabali........... Awaziem.......Bassey.......Omeruo .......... Raph Onyedika Simon ......Onyeka......Iwobi....Sanusi .......Osimhen.....Lookman
It's a 3-1-4-2. Awaziem starts on RCB because he can comfortably drive the ball forward from that position(his ball playing and defending as a RCB is top notch).
Bassey Starts in the Middle of a 3-man CB because of his speed in tracking down the opponent attackers and his ability to intercept the ball which is due to his pace as he is our fastest CB.He will function like a sweeper(last man).
Omeruo will play the LCB position being a ball playing CB.He has never failed to deliver in any tournament, be it the AFCON or the world cup.
Raphael Onyedika being the only def.midfielder in the team will start as the holding midfielder since the rest are box2box midfielders since he is a ball playing def.midfielder who loves to express himself on the ball.
Simon starts at RWB due to his high work rate and pace.
Onyeka starts as a CM or box2box midfielder.
Alex Iwobi will play as a CM.
Sanusi will play the LWB position due to his high work rate and pace.
Osimhen will play as a false nine.
Lookman will also play as a false nine. Nice formation. The only change I would make is Bright for Sanusi with Simon moving to LWB. |

daveP: I really pray for a fully fit, complete squad for wafcon. Most especially that midfield. We need to wrest that aspect away from SA. I also pray we get a proper 9 going forward.
I also pray we get our setpieces aspect up and running. The pk were so bad we don't even want to talk about it since then. That 9 is very important. We need a striker! Thank God we now have a solid midfield. The like of Umeh, Elisha and Edna should be called up and assessed in friendly matches to determine if they fit in (they will surely). Otu and Mbadi should be given chances too... I'm scared of Ayinde's injury issues lately. |

Deltamani: This Remo Stars and SuperFalconet U20 forward Okah Adaobi of a Girl is really talented, Quick, String, Skillful, good in the air, Can score goals and her Link up play is top notch… She would make a good false 9 too… More like a Mini Jennifer HERMOSO Her stature is the main issue. She gets bullied off the football often. She and Flourish need that small muscle. |

Who was the last defender to score for Nigeria at Afcon? I was expecting Ajayi to take up the mantle. It might be due to the fact that the team lacks a setpiece coach or good FK takers |

daveP: Vs Civ, can Osimhen play the Giroud role, while Iwobi and Lookman/Nacho do like false 9 that finish chances? This would require someone lying deep or just Bassey to give long balls. We also need to be as fast as possible with transition. I hate slow transitions, and wingers too slow with decisions. Pisses me off. So who will man the wing or let me say Who will be in position to stop any quick transition in case we lose the ball? |
