There is one thing I usually refrain from when playing football- blaming or shouting at my teammates. Because of when me too go f""k up One big reason for the togetherness in that Argentina squad is due to Messi. You will never find him shouting. He would let his action speak rather. That's why most of them said they would be willing to 'die' for him on the pitch. Osimehn needs to learn something from this. We know say you get passion and you wan win but shouting at your teammate no go ever work. Man was spoiling many moves with useless offsides. The couple of time wey him get ball, na rubbish em play. We know the team set up is not good enough but try dey respect your fellow mate. |

BascoVanVeli: U just described playing it safe. If he had tried to dribble everyone and Shoot u can say overdo.
Like I just said Mr Ineedmoney, that can happen to any player. I can't count the number of times napoli players do the same with Osimhen. He had the simpler option but decided to make everything complicated. |

Barryseal: As much as Pesieros record looks poor, but to be fair, he wasn't the reason we lost yesterday. If Chukwueze, Osimhen, Simon and Lookman composed themselves better, we would have scored 3 goals between them.
Tactically, Pesiero withdrew Iwobi and made him the ball progressor in CM next to Ndidi whose limitation is well known. Most of the build-up play went through Iwobi as a result and it was OK and we dominated as expected against a lesser opposition.
The fault line for me was the attackers who looked to make hasty decisions when they were close to goal. There was simply no calmness or clarity in thought when we got close to their goal which is sad. Crosses were over hit, final passes were misplaced and shots were poor.
Uzoho for me, had one job. He had to be quicker off his line, since the team was pressing high up the pitch. A keeper like Ederson would swept the ball away before the Guinean made contact with the ball. Lessons points well understood but there is no how Uzoho would get to that ball. Akpors and Bassey were the main culprits. |

BascoVanVeli: When did he overdo? There were instances yesterday where he should have cross the ball or make a cut back. Osimehn was free on one occasion but he decided to dribble back and give the pass to Chuks. He needs to be decisive. |

AkinDS: Man mi, Deltamani's legs were being pulled by me, regarding that post, if you know what I mean. And what has nationality got to do with a debate about Randy's competence or lack of? Also, I have no relation(s) to the individual(s) you referenced. It's Ok. The way you frequently defend Randy here made the post a bit serious. I questioned your nationality because no legit Nigerian football fan will be happy with the current situation of the falcons. |

My respected elder bros, I hate all the flimsy excuses flying up and down here. We played better? with just 2 or 3chances created? will our 'play better' give us the 3 points? Bissau had some good transitions on this same 'bad' pitch FFS. Didn't they train on this bad pitch? |

One reason why we failed to create enough chances yesterday was because Iwobi was far away from their box. we need him to be closer to the final third. I still can't believe we conceded that goal yesterday. Very comical... The fine girls in the stadium must have distracted Akpors and Bassey that they didn't know when that guy sneaked between them. |

My respected elder brother, the fact that you're rating Randy's performance based on FIFA ranking just shows how limited your football knowledge is. Philosopher1979: If perseiro is not careful, he might be sacked even before the nations cup. Let him continue to do rubbish Im not watching the match but maybe the lack of enough midfielders is the problem. And the obsession with playing iheanacho in midfield has to stop. Our coach does not know his players or the right way to use them. We will probably struggle to a 2 1 win and loose or draw away But Peseiro might be sacked before the nations cup if this nonsense of his continues sack ke? forget it. Once you 'cooperate' with NFF, you can lose 20 consecutive matches and there will be nothing like sack letter. we Sabi as e dey go |

TBH, I was sceptical when Osimehn made that move from Charleroi to Lille. I was also afraid he may not be able to measure up at Napoli. I'm sure there were others like me too who had same notion. But so far, Osimehn has proved us wrong twice. So, if he decides to pack his baggage at the end of the season and head to EPL, I wouldn't be surprised to see him get 20 goals in his first season. my only concern are those freak injuries. |

Even CR7 achieved 80 percent of what he is today outside EPL. Osimehn is Osimehn, not someone else. The quicker some of us here realize that, the better. The paths of those you mentioned are different from Osimehn's. That they flopped in EPL doesn't mean Osimehn will flop too. |
