daveP: Why? There is no way he will replicate that madrid feat with this current arsenal team. Before you hire Zidane, your team has to be a ready made one and some of your players must be individually brilliant. |

GeneralDae: I lost a little faith in Demehin from the poor outing against the Moroccan clubside for Rivers Angels. She is solid but needs to learn more especially against skillful attackers. Most likely one for the future. Agreed...I also think she is still inexperienced. One for the future certainly |

Schemerkhiz: Abiodun is another Combative Defensive Midfielder i saw believe we do a great job in the future... Whenever I see her play Ndidi come to my mind..
Going to the AWCON is a no to me, After the U20 FIFA Women's World Cup she can come into the set up as per her performance if the AWCON and U20 WC are not played at the same time, nothing bad in taking her to AWCON. We need the best irrespective of age or whatever. |

GeneralDae: Peace Effih can also play as an attacking midfielder even. The coach may just have to put 2 and 2 together and he strikes gold. Chai... .I didn't even remember her. I'm glad we now have quality options to choose from. |

Schemerkhiz: 1 -Our talent pool is deep. Perhaps the deepest it has ever been.
2 -How will the coaching staff balance the team going into the Summer AWCON/World Cup Qualification session? It will be interesting to see. Yea..I agree..we have a large pool of talent. The coach just needs to find the right balance. Take super eagles for instance, we have the highest number of in-form forwards yet we still find it difficult to score goals. It's left to the coach to understand the skillset of each player and comes up with a combination that is complementary. |

Schemerkhiz: One thing am impressed with the likes of Ifeoma Onumonu, Tony Payne, Ashleigh Plumptre and Co is that they play with their whole heart ready to risk it out unlike the Super Eagles player's who feel like star boys...
Against Canada, Onumonu was pressing high and high, doing her defensive duties too.. She has proven too well that she's playing in the best league in the World.
Randy Should just look between Kanu, Ordega and Okoronkwo to pair with Oshoala and Onumonu in a front 3... maybe Ordega should just retire now that competition are piling up...she has regress a lot. She is no the same player |

Schemerkhiz: Desire Oparanozie Asisat Oshoala Fransisca Ordega Uchenna Kanu Ifeoma Onumonu Esther Okoronkwo Vivian Ikechukwu
This 7 Strikers would probably be going to be AWCON... Good thing is Onumonu can play any of the wing upfront..
Infact all of them can be deployed in any of the wing upfront except Desire Oparanozie whose speed is average and Ikechukwu who's more of a wing player!..
Which 3 will be able to combine well if played together.. Onumonu as the CF, Asisat and Kanu on the wing |

Messi has 7 Balond'or compared to wasiu who has 5 yet you people still didn't agree that Messi is better.
Now because Xavi and Iniesta nor get Balond'or, Modric is better than both.
Which kind of logic is that?

codemaniacs: Ndidi , onyeka , Nwakwali , iwobi, aribo and any midfielder who has other midfielders or forward players who drop deep around him can have brilliant build up like Dani Parejo..
that goal started with Estupinan to Parejo to Lo celso to Moreno to Chukwueze.
Another thing to note is Gerard Moreno drops deeper than the opposition defense line and sometimes to midfield then runs with the ball with the intention to pass or cross into the box or shoot at the goalkeeper..
Another thing to note is that the Super Eagles formation has less midfielders than Villareal's formation and build-up for the S.E is usually from the full-backs or defenders to the wingers to the strikers or the wingers take the shots and NOT from the full-backs to midfielders to another midfielder to winger to striker to another winger then winger or striker takes the shot..
Villareal had four midfielders on the pitch Capoue, Lo Celso , Parejo and Coquelin, In their formation, Lo Celso can also make forward runs and temporarily play as a winger or right wing forward role and Parejo also makes forward runs and plays a central forward role.
for the Chukwueze goal, Coquelin had been substituted for Pedraza who is a winger but can also play as a left back this also means he can play as a left midfielder and even if he wasn't involved in the build up to the goal.. Villareal still technically had 4 midfielders on the pitch or at least 3 midfielders on the pitch..
these 4 Villareal midfielders drop deep to help the defense that's why they could build up like that, If it was in the Super Eagles there will be nobody in Lo Celso's position to receive the ball then pass to Moreno , so Dani parejo ( or the S.E midfielder ) will have to use a long ball over the opposition midfield and defense to get the ball to Moreno's position and since its a long ball it means the opposition defenders can head the ball away..
what the Dani Parejo pass to Lo Celso means is that at least one opposition player will be drawn out of position to get the ball from Lo Celso and there were 3 Bayern players on Dani Parejo so that pass alone took out 3 Bayern players.
you're making me write essay. O boy .... This is so apt bro... We get Pep Guardiola Ibile on this thread sha |

To waste another 4 years trying to build a team? Una really deserve Eguavoen. Smh That's his opinion, counter or leave it. Even though, some names there are just off, his point is well understood. |

He is not injured but club looking to safeguard him (value and injury-wise) for whatever situation in the summer.
Onyekuru though now wants to remain in Olympiacos unlike last year. Maybe he should just go back to Gala...he tends to perform any time he is in Turkey. |

Jodera: Yeah, it's better we just go back to that 4231. Xhaka and Sambi together.
I just wish the 3 are Saka, Odegaard and ESR while Martinelli plays 9 but Arteta won't think that way. Moreso, I prefer Nketiah starting than Pepe if I'm to choose one between the two. Pepe is always infuriating to watch to be honest.
Conte and his spurs are not dropping points and the worst part is that they're picking up points with swagger. Long road for us There is one tall guy in our academy, Mollaj abi na moller Dem dey call am...maybe we should start using cross and nod tactic |

Jodera: I read Tomi will be back (at least during the bench) against Southampton. Hopefully, he plays Tierney wing since he's two-footed and Xhaka returns back to midfield.
I don't think Tierney's injury would have had that much impact if only Tavarez showed that form he showed like at the beginning of the season. In fact, I will put it as the loss of confidence of Tavarez that scattered everything more cos it made Xhaka move away from that midfield.
My worry is that who will play that Partey role, except we shift back formation to 4231 instead of 433. We all know both Xhaka and Sambi can't play sole 4 at all. Xhaka should partner Sambi. Nketiah should start and Pepe needs more minutes |
