and a psychologist. The fear of failure haunts her since that u20 that she cried.

Ohale and Kante have similarities... they don't come forward, just stay in their lane, reserved.

Ohale has improved from her shabby performances. Ebi is the consistent one so far this tournament.

only two Nigerians made the CAF XI. the rest are on the bench.

Oluehi and Ebi only.

Katlin Swart, the SA goalie has been playing since 5. Her dad was an aggressive supporter of her footballing career. Something you don't see In naija.

Ordega was strong headed o. else she no go dey here atall. Naija parents need step up sha. football is faster. the doctor, engineer era is not like before.

Swart is 24 and has been a Gk for years now. A college product also. Naija Gehs are slayqueen or acada in universities. lol. just saying.
that swart self,Aside her 'something', nothing spectacular about her.she can't even jump for her life. She should go and lose some flesh biko

U20 WAFU Cup rules knock out Flying Eagles stars, new discoveries
SCORENigeria has scooped that the Flying Eagles will be without several of their top stars as well some of the newly discovered players at the U20 WAFU Cup in Togo because of the rules of the tournament.
Among the rules for the sub-regional competition is that the players
must not be younger than 17 this year.
“Some of the players from the U17 can therefore not be part of the squad to Lome,” an official informed SCORENigeria
Meanwhile, defensive midfielder Jamilu Mohammed, who was part of the team who qualified the country for next year’s U20 AFCON in Niger, has been ruled out of the WAFU Cup no thanks to a long-term hamstring injury.

which Mali did watch ? Maybe you are dreaming. Mali that couldn't even complete two passes? Oboy fear God. SA almost buried them. They were totally outplayed
Bro,I don't think SA outplayed Mali. SA were just lucky due to goalkeeping errors. Aside their passing ,SA were trash

I had said it on the matchday thread against Cameroon that is team is the worst ever and Omagbemi would've done better than that Albino that. The Cameroon girls were unlucky not to have carried the day. As they deserve to be in the final. Then somebody said the Coach wasn't hired for continental purpose but Wc. What has a coach who struggles to win continental trophy has to offer at world stage. What if he had made it to the semi which Wc he go carry dem go?
I think he should be pardon for now mainly because he has not really had time to work with the girls. NFF should organise about 7 friendlies for the SF before their WC

That confidence go end tmorow. I watched their game against the Malian girls. They Malian were just unlucky and could've won the match easily but they lack the experience needed to win the match. The odd was again them. Van Wyk should've been sent off for second bookable offence when she made a needless tackle on Basirra for the 2nd tym
I thought na only me are am . Aside their passing and dribbling, SA were trash. Their goals were down to goalkeeping error .

Just watched the SA v Mali highlights, and all the goal mouth action was in the Malian goal shocked
And SA’s second goal was an absolute beauty! The SF have a real fight on their hands on Saturday.

Between now and Saturday, something has to be done by Dennerby to improve the linkage between the midfield and attack. Aside from the Equatorial Guinea match, the connection between the mids and forwards has been below average, which makes the team’s attacking moves so disjointed.
I see nothing special about them except that they play good possession football. Their attack was not that good and both of their goals were down to goalkeeping error. If SF can sought out their midfield, they are good to go.

This south africa girls are still not there yet.Despite all their initial gragra,no clear cut chance. Their two goals are mainly due to goalkeeping error. If naija can find a decent replacement for chikwelu and ordega in their starting lineup,we are good to go. With all their friendly matches and tournaments,am surprised this is all they could offer...smh

Someone should please help with a link to watch U-17 world cup, what stage is Ghana now? Also Falcons against Cameroon match, how can one watch it online, I don't feel our girls are strong enough to handle them though
Cameroon 's strength is in their midfield but am hopeful Ayinde and Rita will be able to nullify any of their threat from midfield. Also with the triple O in attack ,we are good to go. Their number 7 is their only threat in attack. .quite pact but not strong and she got tired easily

I will suggest this line up :

———————Nnadozie—————-

-Chukwunonye--Nnodim--Ohale--—-Ebele——

—————————Ayinde———————-

—————Okobi————Ajibade——-

———Oshoala/Ihezue ——-Ihezue/Oshoala —-Ordega—-

Ebi is frankly becoming a little bit tired. Chukwunonye made all the difference against Zambia and Nnodim though small is very solid. Oparanozie misses opportunities and hardly joins in build ups. She is a typical Yekini type up 9. Ihezue falls back and with the fronts ready to fall back to the mid field, they can be hardly played out. If they do not move up as needed, Oparanozie can be brought in. Jokes apart, Ajibade is good. Two solid attacking midfielders with 3 fronts will pack up the mid field and put the Cameroonians out of play.
I don't fancy Ajibade in that midfield, she doesn't have the flair to run with the ball . I will prefer a tenacious CM

Ghana U17 are the real deal. I have not seen an African team play this well since our U20s at Canada. Their striker is a special player already with 6 goals in matches. That team would trash their senior side
I don't think they had faced a tactically decent team yet.Their match against Finland really exposes their loopholes. Am still waiting for them to face the big countries.
