Are we seeing it now? They tried this nonsense in my state (Edo) today but it backfired woefully cos 10000 fulani herdsmen put together is One Edo man. Do we need to be told that these fulani herdsmen are terrorists? Why should they be allowed to carry weapons in the first place?

These fulani herdsmen will divide this country faster than IPOB. My advice to every Southerner is to start stock piling weapons and prepare for the rainy days. It's better to die fighting than being slaughtered like animals in our own ancestral lands. They should also sleep with one eye closed cos they mainly operate at night.
Thats the best thing to do bro!!!

In any community, you cannot have two monarchs. “The only Oba in Ibadan is the Olubadan.
CultureOlubadan Suspends Onido, Places Eze Ndigbo Under Baales by Movic1(op): 8:55am On Apr 07, 2016
THE Olubadan of Ibadan, Oba Saliu Adetunji, yesterday seized the beads of the Baale of Ido, Chief Tajudeen Akinola Agura, for parading himself as the Onido.
Onido is a major Ibadan less city baale. The title has been in the news in the last 10 years for various traditional and political reasons.
But for Agura yesterday will remain a day to remember as he faced the members of the Olubadan-in-Council, who quizzed him for allegedly parading himself as the Onido though he had been suspended.
After the rilling, the Council affirmed his suspension and seized his beads with a warning to stop parading himself as the Onido, until a final decision is taken on his case.
Wearing a white lace agbada, the chief left the Popoyemoja palace of the Olubadan in a sober mood.
He was installed in July 2011 after his predecessor, Chief Benjamin Ishola, was deposed for, among others, his crave for a beaded crown.
While Ishola struggled for stronger recognition and a beaded crown, Agura was in court to challenge the former’s occupation of the stool, claiming he (Agura) was the right candidate.
He eventually won in 2011 when the late Oba Samuel Odulana Odugade 1 installed him.
A source said aside the suspension, several petitions hang around Agura’s neck, particularly on alleged land grabbing and related issues.
The source said it would be tough for the suspended baale to wriggle out of the suspension.
Oba Adetunji warned leaders of the Igbo community in Ibadan to subject themselves to the authority of the baales in their domains.
He said Eze Ndigbo must operate within the framework of the Ibadan traditional authority.
The monarch said on no account would the palace attend to the Eze without passing through the baales under who they must subject themselves.
Briefing reporters after a two-and-a-half-hour meeting yesterday, the Asipa Balogun of Ibadan, High Chief Tajudeen Ajibola, said: “We have taken a stance on the principle of upholding Ibadan authority.
“We’ve done many things today on the issue of the man parading himself as Onido who has been suspended.
“The Kabiyesi was of the view that since he has been suspended, he can not go about parading himself as Onido, wearing beads. So, we have seized his beads.
“The second issue was the issue of Eze Ndigbo. In any community, you cannot have two monarchs.
“The only Oba in Ibadan is the Olubadan. So, no other person can call himself his royal highness in Ibadan land.”
Other members of the council in attendance include the Otun Olubadan, High Chief Lekan Balogun; Osi Olubadan, High Chief Rashidi Ladoja; Osi Balogun, High Chief Femi Olaifa; the Asipa Olubadan, High Chief Eddy Oyewole; the Iyalode of Ibadan, High Chief Aminat Abiodun and Chief Lateef Gbadamosi.

PoliticsIgbo Group Denounces Governors Over Fulani Mayhem by Movic1(op): 8:40am On Apr 07, 2016
Lagos - The Igbo Ekunie Initiative (IEI) has questioned the alleged silence of Igbo leaders in the wake of the killings Fulani herdsmen perpetrated in Igboland communities in Igboland.
IEI, comprising of individuals in Nigeria and the Diaspora, criticised the silence of Governors Willie Obiano (Anambra), Rochas Okorocha (Imo), Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi (Enugu), David Umahi (Ebony)i, Ifeanyi Okowa (Delta), Nyesom Wike (Rivers) and Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State.
“While the silence of the Buhari administration over the nefarious antecedents of his Fulani kinsmen convinces us of his tactical approval of their rampages, what we find criminally embarrassing is the silence of our Igbo leaders,” said IEI President, Tochukwu Ezeoke.
“Our governors: why the silence? Why are you neglecting the solemn oath you respectively took to serve your people?”

Ezeoke said IEI frowned on these Igbo leaders for abandoning the people they are meant to serve at this decisive moment.
“Of what use is it to Igbo people that they have leaders when the mantle of governance is crassly abdicated.”
If this prevailed, IEI would commence immediate consultation on how best to recall the leaders so a new crop of leaders could emerge.
“The least we can do for our people is to speak up when injustice is done to them. Speak up now or forever remain silent.”
Over 400 people have reportedly killed in recent weeks in a setback blamed on the Fulani herdsman.
This follows clashes over land.

Knowledge9000:
From observation yoruba mainly the younger men under 35 are the most vile, uncouth, misguided, irrational sets of men on this planet. You see them even here on Nairaland with monikers like pussycream, juicypussy, vaginajuice, Pussyodour, GstringAngela, pardon my language. I wasn't surprised when I heard Wizkid use such dirty language on Linda. They have no control. The reason for this behaviour will shock you...most yoruba men today are raised by single mothers, meaning no fathers at home. In most cases where there are fathers at home, the women run the family. Matriacy is very strong in yoruba household which is the opposite in Igbo and hausa where patriacy is incredible strong...translates to discipline. Older yoruba men know what I'm talking about...they see this everyday.

A popular US psychiatrist once said it takes a mother to raise a child but takes a father to raise a man!
Same patriarchy in igbo/hausa land lead their kids to Almajiri, terrorism, drug traffickers, kidnappers, prostitution etc right? Is that discipline? I think the Matriarchy is 100times betterhuh

PoliticsNlc Threatens Strike Over Fuel Scarcity by Movic1(op): 10:56am On Apr 05, 2016
The Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) on Monday threatened mass action if the persistent fuel scarcity is not urgently addressed. It said it could be forced to demonstrate against public officers who have not delivered on their mandate and to demand their removal for allowing increasing suffering and deprivation to become the lot of Nigerians. “Electricity has become an essential commodity, public utilities have since gone to the dogs, Petroleum products have grown wings and vanished, compounding an already bad transport system, reducing Nigerians in all parts of the nation to compulsory trekkers.
“Having observed the increasing alarm and seeming confusion within the corridors of power on possible solutions to the socio-economic quagmire, we make haste to say that Nigeria is indeed at crossroads today and the extent of suffering is such that this nation has not witnessed throughout its history. “We, therefore, want the government at the centre to quickly talk to Nigerian workers and the masses on why we should continue having trust and patience with them.
“We urge them to tell us why we should not be in the streets calling for mass resignations of officers of this government, and to also tell us why we should not be worried when all the macro-economic indices are moving downwards,” NLC said.
