how can you have 0.33 chocolates? Na his type dey solve question like "how many men can finish a particular task?" Ans: 2.5 men

Young man, it is called precision!
If 3 wrappers can give you one chocolate, how many chocolate can a wrapper give you
How about that?
Rule 1: Don't discard remainders!
Rule 2: Don't argue what can be proven correctly!
Rule 3: When you don't know His type, you remain calm!

hmmmm
Answer=
15+(5)+(1)+(0.67)+(0.33)+(0.33)
=22.33 Chocolates!!

OR

$15 = 15 chocolates
15 wraps = 5 chocolates
5wraps= 1chocolate 2 wraps
Finally wraps = 1 chocolate
The wrap from the final chocolate, will give .33 chocolate
Total no of chocolates = 15+5+1+1+0.33= 22.33 chocolates
Romance / Re: My Cousin Is Getting Confused. by MoyoGENERAL: 8:16pm On May 16, 2017
Heavance:
No be small thing o.....
I understand the fear of your cousin, that type of fear that you face, when your girlfriend is introduced to your siblings and extended family, and you just keep praying the question session should be a yes/no, else na die o.

A girl I know of, once faced this challenge, she even opened up to me that the moment she stopped watching Africa Magic Yoruba and those Yoruba movies, she improved drastically, whenever she watches American movies or nollywood, she is more interested in listening to sentences, instead of what the movie is about. Though she makes little mistakes, but since I wouldn't listen to her in her dialect unless she speaks English, she improved and gained confidence in speaking well, right now Dictionary is the main app on her phone after the other social ones.

If this girl is homely as you said, your cousin should just explain why she should be able to express herself well in English, as well as her dialect. We always can't have it all like oliver twist o

Her certificate language is in English, her country's official language is English, her phone's settings is in English, so bro don't mind those telling you who English help.

Very good advice!

An Irony? I decry!!! This is the ETHOS of Life: The cardinal principle of life. Sowing and Reaping! KARMA!
Sow Loyalty reap greatness
Sow Diligence reap success
Sow mentorship reap future leaders.

A vital lesson we learn from here: "Nobody's success is a threat to yours in any way, just as birds don't clash up in the sky", hence be of immense help to those coming behind you. Nurture them to become better. Be intentionally interested in their success. It is called legacy building! Power is for service, not for status, serve others and let them draw strengths and values from you. Never hoard resources, knowledge or deny your subordinate an opportunity to grow, learn or improve his transferable skills. Always allow people your shoulder to see further, allow them your inner eyes for better foresight ; In life, providence may place you in a vital position to invest in others, please never resist or hold back, it is called collective emancipation. Make this a commitment!!!

Take a cue from our comedy industry in Nigeria, how Alibaba, Basket mouth helped some of these boys into limelight; that's living the life. We are people of connections and can be strong for ourselves by making impact in people life. Intentional mentor-ship geared towards tangible value exchange should remain our personal social responsibility as we go through life . We are called to lighten up the paths of one another; give someone a leap start to get their career rolling, a slight push to get their business moving, a referral to help their course and quest for jobs and many more.

Note that, we are of no significance if we fail to extend our arms of help to others who needs it!

As far as I'm concerned, there is not better definition of success for a leader than producing another successful leader. If so, Prof Makanjuola is thrice successful!!

Sorry bro, if na you you go come back abi
The way it is now, let everybody hustle for his stomach, if she's there she'll be useful to herself and global economy, if she comes here she'll spend months or years looking for job and soon one pot bellied old man will start asking to sleep with her,no gain to anybody. So it's even better both for her and the world at large, that she remains there.

This really got me cracking......notwithstanding, you've painted a scenario which is true and quite pathetic. These are the problems I am talking about, which has eaten deep into our fabrics as a nation. It is beyond leadership and we must fight it collectively else we will continue to grow worse and worse and ultimately self destruct.

bovinely, the truth cannot be waved aside if we seek a new Nigeria. No matter how many years we live abroad, it won't erase our cultural origin! Hence we have an obligation to contribute our own quota to making things better. If she's got an opportunity here in Nigeria, fine! Grab it and start something! If not, that doesn't mean you should remain there forever, make conscious effort, gather as much resources, then join in the national building as true patriots!!! We need to take a cue from the Asians!

Fortunately for her, they will keep her there and ensure that she is comfortable enough to utilize all that she has acquired to develop their economy. There young lady, don't fall for any ploy to lure you back to Nigeria, we don't value assets like you here, just remain and soar as high as possible.

Sadly, you may have proffered a reasonable advise, but keenly, in all candor; "Not coming back" is quite unfortunate for our national development as we continue to lose our gifted Diasporas who ought to replicate sustainable institutions upon return to Nigeria.

We can't continue to thread this pathetic path of national neglect, bury our heads in theSand, turn a blind eye and expect a miraculous transformation in our economy in the future. Stimulating an economy out of recession or projecting an economy towards development is not by mere wish nor voodoo practice! It is by taking responsibility!

The truth is, our problem is beyond leadership; we are at War with our culture, we are at war with our beliefs, we are at war with our systems, and we must fight it as a nation and take up our challenges with daunting resolve. Everyone is a victim and we must individually begin to take responsibility for our emancipation as a country. Nigeria need a dire acculturation program, social, physical and economical reformation program to build US for a sustainable future. Ultimately, the Nigerian Diaspora community inclusive, must arise and key into these reformation program, put renewed faith in the nation's destiny, shun petty ideas as to immediate interest satisfaction, help drive development, sustainable structures and institutions back at home.

The future demand no less.

Not exactly. In d nigerian tech industry, having d needed skills, and having a strong career network is way more important dan Connection. Connection may get u some jobs. But it doesnt sustain you without d skills in d tech industry

I did try to be generalistic in what I wrote down, encapsulating what's obtainable in every sector in the country. Surely few exceptions exist. Nevertheless, you'll accede with me that what the OP insinuates is what's required for entry into a job rather than sustenance on the job! If this is right then, I'm not far from it!
Do you know then even the "strong career network, referrals" and co they are still connections? #Just rebranded connections#!

Sir I agree you know everything. We are talking about NIGERIA here. Yeah I know of Exxon Tillerson and Shell's Rijswijk, my alma mater Fupre usually had yearly EXXON UAP that were taught by Exxon staffs. So trust me I know some decisions are made at a higher level. What am saying is that the MDs in Nigeria play a bigger role in the success of the IOCs here than the CEOs from their international HQ. For eg, the last SheLL MD convinced the head honchos at Shell HQ to sell assets in Delta state that were underperforming. After selling and moving to PH for some years, they are moving back to Delta state again. So obviously the former MD gave HQ some bad Intel. Hope you get my point now.

Shell is moving back to delta again? Says who?
Sold assets because they were underperforming? Were all the assets marginal?
Have you heard about OML 42 and OML 30? Were they underperforming?
Wrong Intel? how? The O&G business is very complex! Aside from the technical aspect, Economic, Political, Environmental, Legal view points really impact decision making! You can have 20billion bbls reserves in a very violent region, and you can't exploit it just because of safety!!!!
Abi are you not aware of the security and community challenges shell staffs encountered in warri before their exit??
Even, from what you've said, what is the nexus between being an non-geologist and decision making?

Young man, the oil and gas is bigger than what you think! You can build the best robust model, map and pick all available faults, expertly quantify fluid flow and simulate recovery, plan the best well placement and facility design, even derive juicy economic results; yet a non-technical factor can delay investment decision sanction!!!!!

You see, it's not by being a geologist!

In essence you are saying ?
As it is baseless and myopic to say a quartz graywacke is better sorted than quartz arenite, so also it is utterly myopic to claim that an E&P company when managed by non-geologist wont be successful!

Chevron's MD, geologist: http://tandice-bsolutions.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=327&Itemid=263

You obviously don't even know how these IOC works!
Have you heard about San Ramon?
Have you heard about Rijswijk?
Have you heard about Irving?
Do you know Watson, Buerden, Tillerson or even Woods?
Do you know MD's in Nigeria reports to them?
Do you even know who sanctions FDP?
Or who sanctions FID?
Do you even know each company's organizational structure?
Abi you think management and making decisions is creating conceptual model or facies modeling

If you are thorough in the Oil and gas, you won't make such ambiguous statement!!!!
