Blockworks completed 100% . The ministry is moving to permanent site God willing.

We will proceed with the plaster immediately as we won't b for roofing cuz of time constraints. We will be checking weather report daily to schedule our work

Due to lack of experience , I used 6 inch blocks for setting of the foundation instead of 9 inches block.i later found out from the bricklayer that 9 inch was the standard block used in setting foundation of a house even if it's just a bungalow house

That is not true. Of what sense setting with 9" and continue with 6". That is rubbish and professionally not advisable.

There are some issues to sort out with the drawings. Especially the site layout and the numerous unnecessary car parks.

New layout is ready. This is cost effective than the first

Site terrain making it difficult to kick start the work. Access to site flooded. The option left is to get another entrance to the site. This was completed today. Borehole drilling on going, few of the shops dug already. Pictures attached

Currently mobilising to site and site clearance just completed. Setting out probably will start Monday God willing and work start proper after negotiations of terms and conditions of contract between me and my client (contractor) completed

The third structure is at roofing beam level while the remaining 5 at lintel level. We will be taking a short break while we expect next trench of fund.

Update.

Final block and concrete work on block one on course. Everything moving fine and we are on week 6 work actually commenced.

Four of the structures are at roof lintel level while the oversite concrete for the remaining 4 is on course once we get delivery of the next ruck of cement.

Electrical first fix commenced, woodwork for lintel and the casting of first lintel commenced. AC pipping also.

The four unit we casted the oversite concrete are almost at the lintel level completely. Don't let the pictures confuse u. This is not a duplex but a but just two bedroom flat bongalow. I love reinforcing my work well. Cutting corners is not always my thing. This is the area I do have issues with some of my clients. For me, professional excellence first before anything. We proceeded with casting of the oversite concrete on a site abridged mix of 1:4:4. We are casting 4 first and then the remainder latter dates after raising the blocks

UPDATE

Next we proceeded with dpc construction. I often use felt for my blockline and nylon everywhere. I often use non recycled nylon more expensive and hardly tear. I always spread sharp sand on it to hold it in position and make sure the stones are nearly arranged without damaging the felt or nylon.
