lafencer: As regards the TOE companies, there have been huge volumes of late. First, it was UBA, then AFRIPUD, now its UCAP. TRANSCORP seems to be TOEing in that direction too. . Any thoughts please? UBA just like zenith and gtb will most likely pay an interim dividend of 25k which gives a better return when compared to zenith and gtb. In the case of transcorp, it appears to be grossly underpriced when you consider q1 result. UCAP just got a new CEO who happens to be the resigning managing director of Afriprud. On afriprud, my ogas at the top should just got ell us |

If you check how many times you have sold and re-entered and sold again to also re-enter all in expectation of bull/bear, and also considered the money paid as brokerage fee in the process, you would realize the importance of caution. Its best to buy low and just wait for your target exit price. Stocks will always go up and down and if you are in the habit of always selling at every up or down movement, your profit, if any, would at the long run be lost to brokers. Brokers love it when you move. Thats the only way they gain. |

ZENITH WILL MAKE US PROUD AT DUE TIME. 26.75 now. Wait a bit, you might get it at 26.55 today. |

I am recovering my losses with Diamond Bank and making profit with sterling bank.
What ever happens tomorrow by 2:30pm will tell if my gamble on Diamond Bank still holds water.
God bless Mpeace and his funny stocks that give 100% in due season. Those funny stocks help to cure quick fingers. You make a loss only when you sell short of what you buy. If stanbic nominees did not sell everything they had, (despite having inside info about the result) why should I sell. |
