.sure you are joking about the N500 Billion.
How is that possible.
Even if 1 unit is N10,000 a single 100k units should be N1 Billion
Mistake. I mean 500million. At current price you need N513,000,000 to bring about a 10% fall, and 632,000,000 to bring about a 10% rise.

NGX is considering increasing the daily price limit from 10% to 20%.

How would your temperament change if you're up or down 20% in a single day?

Copy
The price limit is not even the main issue. The main issue is the 100k single unit requirement for price movement. There is a stock on NSE that trades at N1million per unit. That stock needs a single transaction of N100billion to make any move.
Seplat needs a single transaction worth over N500million to make a single move. Whereas some stocks need only less than N50k to make a single move.
That to me is the rule we need to change.

So, I was just wondering since this thread have been on for years for over 15 years we have never met with each other at any time. Covid gave us data on why physical interaction is superior to an online presence.

Physical interactions with other people can reduce stress, anxiety, and depression, and can help to boost self-confidence and self-esteem. Being part of a group or team can provide a sense of security and connection, and can be beneficial for problem-solving and collaboration.

I have a solution which I know will be the best for everyone, I'm setting up a meet and greet at a luxury location where we will shake hand and get to know each other for real. An entry fee of 500k per head count will be made to organize the event, the organizers have promise to make its a special event. I trust them 100%.

What do you think about this great idea?
You should sponsor the meet and greet naa. $ Billionaire like you.

It was only officially acquired in mid December do you think it'll contribute to the result?
Mid December falls into q4 2024. The effective date of the transaction is actually 1st January 2021. But I do not know the impact that date would have on the result.
But the stock did some real value today, over 1.5billion naira.

One Mauritius based company(Sustainable capital) have also been buying. They now own 10% of the company. All within a short time.
Disclaimer: This is totally MH. So pls do your research. I am heavy here. I added more yesterday.

It should. December falls into 2024. Mind you the effective date happens to be different from the conclusion date.
In all, 2025 should be good for seplat.

Why does it take the CBN so long to approve bank results. Abi them want first tke positions before approval?
Because I no understand why an average person should take less than 2days to breakdown an audited result, but a whole CBN cannot do that in three months.

Banks have submitted audited results now we wait forever until the CBN approves.

Chams! I gallant inside the bus...let's go. grin
I left my Totalenergies upon seeing their result and ported to presco immediately. Not that Totalenergies didn't to well, just that I wasn't really impressed.
Chams did well but not that well. Its not late to try other options.
Don't let too much emotions lead you to miss out on good dividends this season like "Dangfoods" did to some of us last year.
