aresa: Talking to your own fellow country men is a bad thing? Obviously, there's something bad about you mentally as a human being.
A candidate having discussions with the people he's trying to govern, hearing from them their concerns, hopes and aspirations, letting them know what he's about, his plans and how to address their concern can never be a bad thing. This is what we expect from the people we ask to lead us and I hope this is the new standard in Nigeria.
You having senseless and issues and head aches over politicians talking to you and understanding your needs and concern as a voter only depicts how shallow you are and if I might add, I hope such warped thinking people like you don't find your way to any elected office because of your silliness, pettiness, judgmental and poor sense of judgement and gross lack of concern and empathy for the people you hope to lead ad [provide for..
Lastly, I know your thoughtless argument is all about you not liking this this man and Buhari, but you should let your vote decide that by voting against him instead of spewing unintelligent and senseless rubbish on the internet.. When reason is exhausted, insult sets in. I can't trade words with you, I don't have such time. |
Politics › Re: Osinbajo And His Many Senseless Moves!!! by mployer(m): 2:27pm On Dec 31, 2014 |
Gbawe: Is Osinbajo done? Do we not have around 6 weeks of active campaigning to go? What if he visits orphanages and schools today? I bet you will turn round to ask why he has not visited the ordinary men and women on BRT buses and the suffering masses forced to hawk products under the hot Sun. You guys are incorrigible and only insecure APC supporters will take your mischievous, unobjective and malevolent criticism seriously. You do not know a man's complete plan yet you comment forcefully and negatively about the order in which he should do things. What does that make you as a person?
I only pity APC supporters and Nigerians who do not know how darkly malevolent PDP fans are. They never stick to selling GEJ these days and fully concentrate on demonizing APC, GMB and Osinbajo alone. What does this tell smart Nigerians desirous of a great nation if not that evil folks wishing for a retention of the vile status quo have now embraced the oldest trick in the book which is to badmouth the opposition while slyly and deceitfully moving attention and discussions away from the ultra-failed incumbent who did absolutely nothing but move Nigeria backwards severely over 5 years? You people are fooling no one and you are certainly not fooling those on the ground who know where the shoe pinches. Osibanjo is not done yet? I hear. So if you are an employer, you wait for an applicant to show his incompetence in detail before deciding he is not deserving of the job? APC is a failed system, a lot of other things are considered ahead of competence before selection is made in the party. If you are enlightened as you may want to claim you will know this is totally wrong. A lot of you know it but will not own up to it. Buhari is chosen simply because he is a Notherner. Osibanjo is chosen because he is a christian and a pastor in one of the biggest congregations. None has a record of good governance. Credible candidates with record of good governance like Fashola, Amaechi, Oshomole and Rochas are kept on the sideline. This is pathetic for a party that called themselves progressives. They can't even progress beyond the politics of sentiment, religion and ethnicity. |

majekdom2: this is not about christainity or not , if you wanna debate that go to the religion section . he was chosen as a vp because he is a christain and "sociable" person .The sociable part of him is what he is displaying . it may not be fine with your own religious doctrine .politics is not based on religion or social class . has he said anywhere that he would not visit the ineligible voters , why jump into conclusion for him . learn to use the right words and not just because you heard it somewhere . I am referring to the myopic word. in the mean time Osibanjo has not asked anyone to vote him because he is a pastor , has he . Nigerians are not voting for the next man of God or man of a particular church , they are voting for the next VP get that clear. Aren't the two lines in bold conflicting? |

I can see how myopic You are. It Is not about my Church yet he was chosen because they want a Christian VP? Is that how You Guys think in APC? You were chosen for having a Christian background and You Start up with un-Christian moves? What else could be called hypocrisy? If he only goes to where éligible voters Can be found, then he is a comfirmed hypocrite. After élection he Will surely leave them like he left the inéligible voters during campaign. |

I don't understand How Can I not trust my pastor? Does that Sound sensible to You? So because he is my pastor I Will trust him in everything including politics? eye4eye: Celebrities and market people are human too. Osinbajo can meet with celibrities who have followers to get people to vote. Obama did the same thing in the U.S. I saw on TV when Obama was meeting Jay Z, Alicia keys, Beyoncé, Eva Longoria, Usher, Jay master Flex and many other celibrities. Those celebrities were able to convince millions of young people to register and vote. Obama didn't Start his campaign with meeting with celebrities. He started with addressing Americans pressing issues. Starting campaign with meeting with celebrities shows he doesn't understand his job spécification. He Just doesn't know what he is here for. |

So that is your perception of ownership? Gullible mindset. You Just take some irrelevant traditional positions and You think You are in charge. How does the position of Oba affect the day-to-day life of an average lagosian? In case You don't know, yorubas are gradually becoming minority in lagos. I live in Maryland, every Old house here is owned by yoruba, every new house under constructions is owned by Ibo. Gradually the Old houses are giving way to new houses and some people still think they own Lagos because theu own the Obas living in rusty Old houses. Calling me bastard over the internet is all You Can do while we take over your land and push You out like Isreal is doing to palestine. mtchewww. |

Very dumb post honestly. So osibanjo is asking for favour from us? Tallesty1: GEJ till 2019, not that he kept his words anyway but because a tyrant is tyrant no matter what. What changed was GMB's dressing not his mentality. Moreover the Nigeria he is seeing today is different from the Nigeria he used to know. GEJ has no words to keep. As much as I could remember, he made no concrete promise. All we heard was that he had no shoes. We called him the humble president with big heart and listening ear and voted him out of love and not for hope of change. |

Jonathan till 2019. Today is sunday bro. I am not doing much aside Church service. You said no one is willing to leave Jonathan, but Jonathan isn't willing to or probably can't do anything. It takes more than being a nice guy to deliver in public in office. His niceness has taken us this far but truly something else is required. Who knows? Buhari May provide that. |
Politics › A Thread For GEJ Supporters About To Change Mind by mployer(op): 9:26am On Dec 28, 2014 |
First of all,This is not a campaign thread for Buhari nor APC. I am creating this thread to find out if some GEJ supporters like me are also becoming doubtful of his re-election.
sincerely, many of us supported GEJ because he looked God-sent and rejected Buhari not because he did us any wrong but because he looked more like a terrorist, judging from his previous comments.
NO doubt, GEJ's ascension to power has hand of God in it. But Buhari too is human, equally loved and Can be used by God. Nobody is beyond the reach of God, and He(God) often use the most unlikely people to achieve his purpose.
GEJ 6 years administrations hasn't brought any good other than Hope. We keep Hoping because we believe God is with him and So is His plan. That is very true, but Buhari too can be part of that big plan. It is very possible.
I am leaving the options open, let His Will be done. |
