Osakah24: Right about what? you still believe that america? I prefer russia to america anytime. America refused to sell to you. Russia agrees to sell to you but end up selling to your enemy. Can't you see the difference? America was right about sighting loopholes in our military which will likely divert any arms delivered to us. It is happening already. |

Another challenge of not passing gay law, America na big time enemy, take your gays to hell. It was paid for by naija but was being delivered to bokoharam. This Russian alliance have to stop. America was right after all |

Promhize: You don't need to go the bank, unless you don't receive sms or emails from your bank. The four digits code is located somewhere in those sms and emails. If you still did not get it then you could go to your bank.
The reception you will get from the CC for this type of request my not be pleasant. You mean he should keep losing money because he doesn't want to get unpleasant reception for issue he is not clear about? |

I think there is something like crime of passion or stuff like that. Just like a man who killed a cheating spouse when caught in the act would get a lesser sentence. Can't she get similar consideration seeing that she's being robbed of her true love(some guy somewhere) Where are the lawyers in the house, Hope I'm making sense |

omenka: What they demand is justice. You can't afford to have some bunch of terrorists killing innocent defenceless civilians on one side and government forces doing same EXTRA-JUDICIALLY on the other side. State actors are NOT terrorists and SHOULDN'T be seen doing what should be the exclusive preserve of non state actors. Make I hear Word. US killed Osama without any form of trial and nobody Is prosecuting them. What happened to being innocent until proven guilty? My point Is, This is war and sh**ts happen in war. Prosecuting and giving death sentences to our soldiers while the terrorists keep gething pardoned is undermining the strenght of our Army. |

Christianity Etc › Re: Frank Edwards Songs => What Does The Bible Say? by mployer(m): 9:12am On Nov 29, 2014 |
striktlymi: Okay, cool! But some believers still use it for the wrong reasons.
The good rap has brought to Christendom is the same as the good any other brand of Christian songs has brought to Christianity. Broadly speaking, these include:
1) Help to propagate the gospel of Christ. 2) Used to glorify God and edify the church.
That assessment is VERY WRONG!!! If a song says: "God is good" it matters not the brand of song used to say it. A song will only be bad when the lyrics are bad.
I bet you approve of traditional gospel songs but you do not say that these songs glorify Amadioha or Sango because the lyrics are good and edifies the Church.
What I see here is you having a bias against rap in general. For you, it is not about the lyrics but about the song. Lets take R&B for example.
A lot of gospel songs take this form and we do not complain about them but the truth is that a lot of 'worldly songs' are R&B related.
The above is your personal grouse and has no footing in sacred scriptures. You are the one complaining, not God. Praise is not a brand of song. One can praise God without singing.
If one chooses to praise God using any brand of song he likes, this does not stop it from being a song of praise to God. Human beings look and judge people from what they see but God who is the righteous judge looks at the heart.
When people use rap to praise God, I expect God to be the one to complain about it not you or anyone else. The only time any song would be wrong, will be when the lyrics of such songs, do not edify the church. Good one. There is no such thing as christian song. We only have christian lyrics. -Rick Warren (author of purpose driven life) |

BreezyRita: Yes......... What you call playing "hard to get", I call "taking my time" or "looking before I leap"........ There are times though I throw caution to the wind. Both are different ma dear. Caution is taking time to study a person before committing to him/her. Every sensible and honest toaster knows when the target is only being cautious and gives him/her the space. If that is what the op called playing hard to get, then he got it wrong. Playing hard to get is when a lady deliberately sends mixed signals that are intended to manipulate and keep the man interested. |

Matthewbriggs: @ bolded I never loved her in the first place talk more of stopped loving her.
She is not a player. She was not playing any game. She was just playinga hard to get something that pissed me at first but latter became grateful she did ... Because it opened my eyes to my true feelings to her ...
Please read this piece to really understand what it is about before commenting.
My interest died the moment I realized deep down I really did not see her clearly in my future. Glad you said you didn't love her in the first place. Every sensible girl should know when a guy is not that into her and stear clear. Likewise guys. It is not playing hard to get, it is being true to oneself. Playing hard to get is a mind game. It is called reverse psychology. Guys do it too. You will always hear guys on nairaland say stuff like 'if you want to get a lady, pretend like you don't care'. It works in most cases but it is a game. It will get you a girl but won't keep a relationship for you. There is no relationship worse than that of two people playing mind games on each other. I hate games, don't know about others |
