No disrespect but you need to step out of people's lives. This is your brother's journey and when he learns what he has to learn then he will do what he wants to do.

I don't get on with my sisters inlaw (no relationship, no love or hate, just neutral and respectful) but I respect them enough to stay the heck out of their lives. I would never disrespect the mothers of my nephews and nieces because those children will only see me as the enemy. I will wait for time to do it's magic and accept whatever the outcome may be.

You definitely don't own a business that will succeed. Real businesses that succeed and stand the test of time, understand basic business principle of not increasing overhead cost when money in the bank can't cover for it.

In the meantime, you can continue to look for cheap, vulnerable and desperate Nigerians who you'll pay peanuts and still Lord over them by not paying their salaries. It's just a matter of time, your business will crumble.

Nonsense! If you don't have the means and wherewithal to pay and employ staff, then don't increase your overhead cost. Everyone is being hit hard by the economy but many companies plan accordingly so their employees don't have to suffer.

If that OP is disciplined, if he drives his bike from oshodi to iyana ipaja ( #500 per passenger he will carry 2 passengers that's 1k, this fare is on a good day...I've entered bike from bolade to iyana ipaja for #900) he can make 10k daily after expenses. There's a bitter truth that must be told to everyone, business is not for everyone.
And we must begin to teach people that buying and selling is not a business,it's called trading.
Everybody in the world is a trader, That's a talent God gave everyone in the world,there's no special skill needed to survive as a trader.
Back to the story,the only time my good friend in the story tried his hand on entrepreneurship was when he tried to actually produce nylon,and that's where I believed he failed as an entrepreneur,he should have started trading whatever he produced,but he failed and he gave up.
Nigerians are quick to quote motivational jargons but the truth is if all you do is add value to another person business you are nothing but a trader.
We are where we are today as a country because all we do is buy and sell and turn around to spin traders as entrepreneurs.
May God open the eyes of the next generation in this country.
