Try to find out why she's always sad when you send money to your mother. Does she have silent 'beef' with your mother? Maybe your mother wasn't 100% in support of the marriage or has said something that annoyed her. If she opens up, beg her to forgive and forget. If she doesn't, tell her you also love your mother and cannot abandon her simply because you're married.

1. You can not be jailed, this is a civil matter. You should get a lawyer to file an injunction on your behalf to restrain the company from harassing you. Do this urgently so you have a legal document confirming your willingness to pay but under a rescheduled time frame. Better you talk to a lawyer first on the best plan of action. But I assure you, there is no jail for you.

2. Yes, the police can even with your torchlight phone. More reason to talk to a lawyer fast to get legal protection before police harassment starts.

3. The worst is a police or court case where you state your intention to pay but only as your financial power allows you to. So in reality, you can strike a deal in court to pay N10-N50k monthly as you can afford.

4. Ease your mind, this case is very civil, there's nothing you have signed in any document that forces you to make payment you can't afford. But take the documents you signed to a lawyer too.

5. Next time when you're given a loan that can't start your project, learn to reject money and save yourself unnecessary stress.

6. You don't start a new business with loans, loans are only used to amplify returns in a proven business model.

7. I have consulted for several companies including banks like the one you borrowed from. They do not want legal troubles or associated expenses. I just got their call last week that the goods have arrived so I can make payment for the shipping and clearance fees. I chatted with them on WhatsApp via their number and the pickup message was sent of which I made the payment. The goods is to be sent to their Onitsha office and not Lagos as I stated this categorically when I was filling in the details of where it will be sent to on their website on my dashboard online. I also told the customer rep on Whatsapp that the final destination is Onitsha and not Lagos and she said I have to pay the shipping fee first before they move it down to Onitsha, that I did.

I chatted with their Onitsha office and they said no details of my goods was sent to them as against what their Lagos office told me last week. I went back to Whatsapp and chatted their Lagos office and even called them and they said they are looking for my goods as they sent the same goods bearing my name but their office in Onitsha is saying it isn't for me. That they are looking for my goods.


Where I need help now is how to get my goods from them cos I intend to take legal actions against them if I don't get my goods within two weeks. Do you think this is the right step to take? I need help, please! Goods is worth about a #100,000 including shipping fees
