Even if you give them 1-million amnesty, you think dem be mumu to go and close their bank accounts abroad and deposit in Nigeria?  That would only encourage more people to go steal and later claim amnesty.

1) to the original poster / story:
the news article looks a little mischievious: as the wife of Mr. President, she has a diplomatic passport which bears the Nigerian FG seal page. That seal is as good as a visa anywhere. So all she needs to do is present it at our airport when shes about to leave and present it at her destination.

Due to diplomatic relations between Nigeria and wherever shes going, they arent supposed to ask her any questions, because they definitely have a copy of the passport.

So its quite odd to think that one immigration officer at the airport will be bothering her about some stamp. Besides, is she going to queue up with everybody? definitely not. In fact she will walk from her car to the presidential lounge, no need to report to anybody.

2) I wonder why everyone is wishing her evil.

As if, if you were in her shoes (especially you ladies), wont you do worse?

as far as Patience is concerned, she is spending her husbands money, she is just being GEJ's wife. Unfortunately that money belongs to Nigeria.

To all you ladies out there, dont you spend your husband's monies. Do you ask for permission to do so?

If she picked you(from among the rest) with your plate of Nigerian food(romantic or not) in front of you, she would have picked the food you were eating, so by now, the issue of being picky wont be a subject of discussion.

If you are the perfect example of a good guy, thats what turns ladies off. They dont need someone who thinks he is a good guy, worse, a perfect example. Ladies like men who are real, real men, not posers. Men who are just themselves and who dont try to be someone they are not(perfect).
