Of course Keshi is a Politician, with double mouth, he said he'd resigned after world cup, he came back to say he didn't say it. He said Obafemi is too old, he came back to say he didn't say that. when he said good morning, you better check that it is not night.

keshi is the boss, and if uche cannot accept keshi as the boss, he should wait for another coach to replace keshi, may be then he will get his chance, sometimes your philosophy or way of doing things may not tally with who you want to work with and there should not be hard feelings about that, just as you said keshi does not own the eagles and that's why he won't be there forever so let keshi be too. Am sure you'll be the happiest when keshi will be kicked out and then you can tell the new coach to bring all your favourite players in. Are you happy now?
Can i hide my feeling about been happy when Keshi is kicked out? naa i can't, I'll be happy, cos by then normalcy will come back and thing will be done purpose and objectivity and not self interests, inform players will be called and hopefully too, coach's tactic will be on point. if Ik Uche, Obafemi Martin and others are not inform then, they shouldn't be called, only inform players should be in the team with in form coach then our football will get back, you can't blame me football is my passion, it's most Nigerian's passion and we can't let anyone ruin it.

ok o don't worry we are about to set up an investigative panel to find out why uche was left out before he can play for us again, pure rubbish as if he was the only one left out, what will he have done if he was in that tournament, will he have been the highest goal scorer or what? The National team is not his father's house, he can retire like other players have done in other parts of the world when they feel left out of the National team.
Now that's the problem, you didn't respond to my question you're drifting to other issues, i didn't say Ik Uche own super eagles, but Keshi doesn't own super eagles too, looking for every excuse to throw players out, it's better he doesn't give any reason than to be making a player bad to make himself look good.

Someone has not been in a team for a long time, he should just come in no question asked, that's the attitude, is he a soldier that can't be questioned.

In all sincerity that's exactly what you'll do after you've been treated the way he was treated, called a player with bad attitude, left out of the most prestigious tournaments, you will not ask any question, any reason, you will just submit your passport as if nothing ever happened abi?

Can the media stop bringing this news to the public! We are tired of the same story and news all the time.

The guy doesn't want to play for his country , and people doesn't see anything wrong with that all they see is Keshi's Ego . The only thing that has made this lad relevant is because the super eagles lack strikers , I wish there is competition in that role , I don't think any nairalander will take him serious , or any of the news related to him.
Ofcourse this is what Keshi wants to achieve, to paint him UNPATRIOTIC, and he's achieving it through some people, I imagine if this brawl was between Keshi and Osaze, he for don know by now, but just to testify that ik uche is a gentle man, he'd remain silent, not even trying to deafend himself, he wasn't unpatriotic before Keshi came in, all of a sudden he just changed, Ok oh!

Spot on Keshi!, no player is bigger than our National Team. For Pete's sake Uche is not the greatest footballer of all time,, why the pride?.. What happens to serving your fatherland with pride?.
It's time we stop clamouring for ike, and move onto the next ones
So the young man should just come running back like someone who's never played ball before? He was left out of the most important tournaments, Confederations cup, fifa world cup, now you're calling him for qualifiers.

From what Keshi said here, they where calling him back and the young man wants to clear the air on the issue they've been sidelining him, saying he has bad attitude, but again Keshi's ego took over him and they couldn't reconcile successfully, If Uche has been the person Keshi had been painting him before he became coach I'll understand, but we know who he was before Keshi came, so whoever he's now is a function of Keshi's imagination

Do you think any member of the English FA can pick a squad for Fabio Capello when he was coaching England?

Can any member of the Columbian FA pick players or tell Jose Pekerman who and how to run the National team?

This is pure interference. The FA should do their Jo and allow the coach shape the team to his taste. Not their taste.

If not, they should pull their suits, Agbadas and Kaftans and go and coach.
They're not picking players for him, they're only giving him guide lines, and i don't see anything wrong with that, just has Keshi has right as a coach, they have rights too. They're saddled with the responsibility to develop our football and must wade in when necessary to correct anything that'll destroy it, like we're experiencing now, i guess everyone is doing his job, there should be no problem.

He is totally wrong. Following his idea, Omeruo, Oboabona and Mba would never have been given a chance to play at the last AFCON.

If a Coach sees a player on the bench in Division Three Pakistan League and the Coach believes he can turn him into a star, the coach should be given a chance.

Coach Arsene Wenger signed Kolo Toure from Cote D'Ivoire. He turned out a star defender in the Arsenal squad.

The NFF should stop interfering in the Coaches job.
Just as the coach give the players chance right? the coach does not have the final say about our football, he coach not the owner, the NFF has a job too, they're not there to come sit down. He deserves benefits of doubt as long as we're getting results with his weird choices, when the results are not coming then he must be questioned, and possibly be given instruction or he should be booted out if won't corporate.

I watched that programme. He also said that NFF will set up a Technical committee that will compile and grade all our foreign players into Grade A, B and C based on the league they are playing and how regular they play in their club. He said there will be no way of inviting someone in playing in China when there is someone playing regularly in a top league.
Thank God oh! Keshi seriously needs this. He had been given free hand choose but had shown he doesn't deserve it, he'll leave someone in top form playing regularly in top clubs to pick someone that rarely get playing time in China and Austria. would've even been acceptable if his tactics are sound, but tactics we no get, quality players sef we no get, how we want perform.

What you guys do not get is that our World Cup group was tough. The Iranians put up a good match against Argentina. The Bosnians were tough against Argentina. With the likes of Dzeko and Vedad Ibisevic. The French team had to injure Onazi and Ambrose to stop us. How can that be a poor performance with a team who lack real Super Stars.
If i hear! With the pedigree of Nigeria, that's like the easiest group we can get. what should Ghana or ivory coast say? If the players at our disposal are well utilized and coach's tactics was on point, we ought to have won Iran and Bosnia convincingly and go slog it out with Argentina, everything we did, we did with labour, even the only win we had was controversial, Dzeko's fine goal was disallowed while ours was a clear foul.

Truth be told, ik Uche and martins have NEVER played well for the super eagles. They have been given enough chance and we are the same ones asking for others to be given a chance. England played badly at the world cup because they chose Gerrard even though it is obvious he is finished and he cost them against Uruguay. Now they are going the same downward path by making Rooney their national captain. Rooney being captain means automatic selection , where will he play? Sturridge is a better striker, sterling and Berkeley are better playmakers, chamberlain, welbeck and Walcott will do a better job at the flanks. U can see there is really no space for Rooney but they made him the captain because he is Rooney. This is the same thing happening in Nigeria.
I sincerely don't want to say anything about this again, but you saying Uche and Martins have never played well for SE is unacceptable. Uche probably has the highest goals from the qualifiers, martins scores well too, i remember the game against Algeria that we needed score five or more goals to qualify, martins single handedly lifted the team, scoring three or so goals, pls give another excuse.

Now if the coach says Martin is too old, i won't argue, he's the coach, but who's the replacement, Ameobi? Keshi as yet to tell us exactly the issue he had with ik uche. we don't have much talents, but we can still put together the best we have from premiership, la liga etc. the ones we see play everyweek delivering for their clubs, not some guys from China, Pakistan etc.

Goke7: so how do you handle players who are under-performing and refuse to raise their game, mark my words I mean 'refuse to raise their game, is it by patting them on the back? Emenike has refused to raise his game and you are still blaming the coach, Enyeama despite how good he was cost us two conceded crucial goals at the world cup. No coach will be happy with mistakes by players who in turn affect the whole team and the coach himself, blaming keshi all the time when players are making silly mistakes is not fair.

Can you tell me why Emenike has not become a deadly in free kicks today after the wonderful one he scored against Ivory coast at the last afcon? Our players loosing form and inconsistent and we are still blaming keshi who has paid his dues as an ex-player
E,enike refused to raise is game when he doesn't have supplies like before again? throughout the world cup, Emenike played from the wing, and he's supposed to be our top striker. Has and ordinary football fan i noticed this and hoped Keshi would fix it after the world cup, but alas! a coach who gets 5m per month couldn't spot that, he keeps blaming his players.

Enyeama had been saving his as*ses if he make a mistake at anytime, he shouldn't be made to carry the responsibility for the failure of the whole team, when we actually have someone in the middle causing the whole problem for him in the 1st place. if he'll blame Enyeama, he should've blamed the whole squad first before getting to him. When a keeper keeps getting pressurized continuously, he'll definitely make mistakes eventually, but good coaches knows to well to cover there players, if Keshi was Van gaal, i wonder what he'd have said about Rooney's red card.

Goke7: Let's not be double mouthed, we all said Ideye was not fit for our national team and keshi listened to us, what do you mean that he's a good supporting striker, is it because emenike is no longer scoring goals? obasi is injury prone, no good coach will risk him and for the likes of martins and uche to be in the team, emenike, musa and others may have to be benched or uche and martins may have to sit on the bench for emenike, martins and uche are very senior players for Nigeria, they will never be comfortable sitting on the bench even if they are not scoring goals and you think its easy to handle such players? my brother its not easy coaching Nigeria with the kind of players we have even taiye taiwo who is almost finished said he can't sit on the bench for keshi's boys.

There are lot of intricacies surrounding our national team and even if we sack keshi now, it doesn't solve anything.
Ok so he removed Ideye and replaced him with who? there are some players people where actually clamoring to leave the squad, but they hoped they'll be replaced with better players that we obviously have, but alas we get more inferior players.

Talking about managing big players, the Nigerian squad doesn't really have such big players that good coach can't manage, Drogba is no more playing full game for ivory coast and there's no problem, you can't shy away from your best legs because you're afraid of managing them.
SportsRe: Comments By The New NFF President On Stephen Keshi by mpowa(m): 10:12am On Oct 03, 2014
Goke7: if mikel is benched, same Nigerians will shout, do you know that Nigerians called for the removal of ideye, keshi listened and when ideye was dropped, same Nigerians crucified keshi saying that was the reason emenike was not scoring. Don't you see how funny we are.

We simply don't know what we want so if mikel is dropped and we don't win matches, don't you think we will all shout for mikel to be reacalled just like we are now calling for the return of coach siasia who has been jobless for years.

Are we not comedians? lol
Nigerians did not call for the removal of Ideye, the issue most people have with Ideye is the final ball, putting the ball in the net, he's not a great finisher, but he's very good supporting striker, so people criticized when Keshi went to the confederation cup and our top striker was Ideye. Agreed Eminike was injured but we have other proven strikers, he ought to swallow his pride and call them - Uche, Martins, Obasi, Osaze etc. but none could be called because of one reason or the other.
SportsRe: Comments By The New NFF President On Stephen Keshi by mpowa(m): 10:01am On Oct 03, 2014
Goke7: Only an unreasonable nff will sack keshi now and if they do, keshi has nothing to loose, the nff will be the big looser, I think we all should thread carefully if not keshi can deliberately take the eagles back to where he picked them from by not qualifying for the nations cup and I tell you that time the pit will be so deep that no other coach may not be able to bring the eagles out.

The problem is we don't have enough quality players right now, its not a really a coaching problem. Van gaal is still finding it difficult at man u despite hie heroics at the world cup. The reason is the quality of players at his disposal, our eyes are now clear that moyes was not really the problem at man u.

Our players are not up to scratch and when the coach demands more from them, they run to the media like cry babies blaming the coach, that's why it looks as if keshi is quarreling with all the players.
We have good enough players to prosecute African matches and even win the nations cup again, if Keshi has not been picking issues with all of them, if our best player had been playing, we would have picked at least 4 pts of the last two games, for Africa, our players are not too bad, but the team keep getting more inferior by the day. The next on the line is Eminike, he's already having issues with him too, he's even quarrelling with Enyeama, he's just patching it. we are not playing Brazil nor Germany, we're playing African sides and we're better than most of them especially the group we found ourselves.

You talk about players running to the media, what does Keshi run to when he wants to criticize his players or Nff, how does he announces his resignations?

Some players will definitely give the coach problems, but in the case where you're having issues with most of the players, especially those who'll make your job easier, then it's not the players but yourself, if we're playing with our best legs we won't be discussing qualifying by now.

Obviously I'm not Keshi's fan, but on this issue I'm not criticizing Keshi, I'm trying to make you understand that the fact that he mentioned Berti Vogts doesn't mean he wants to give him job. Nobody should support this show of shame no matter his political affiliations, this incident should be brought to book, it should not just pass, when court proceedings are being obstructed and judges are being beaten up, then it's the beginning of the end of any civil society.

President Jonathan should say distant himself from this show of shame, yes it affects his party, but he must prove to Nigerians that he doesn't support lawlessness, i thing it's high time Nigerians begin to look past selfishish interests and embrace what is RIGHT or we're heading nowhere.

The last commandment that Jesus gave his disciples was 'go into to the world and preach the gospel to all people' we're saved not to sit down but save others. If therefore you see someone doing preaching, the 1st thing that should come to ur mind is APPRECIATION, that someone is doing the work of the master that you're probably not doing and to pray God give you grace, not to see them as thieves, con men or business men, i expect such attitude from unbelievers not Christians.

Yes there are many frauds this days, yes many are con men using God's name, yes alot is going in churches this days, but they're not strong enough a reason, why we should not preach or encourage those doing so, every preacher is not out for ppeople's pocket and until someone is found guilty, it is wrong to accuse him.

What is he experimenting? did he just get the SE job yesterday? after about 3yrs, we should know our 1st eleven with our eyes closed, even the reserved.

What is the advantage of having a coach for 3yrs, if not to build a strong squad with high team spirit or chemistry, Any new players can be added to the squad gradually after the Proven ones, but Mr. Keshi keeps rebuilding for ever, and keeps inviting the funniest clowns worldwide.

For the complaint about his salary or other issues, yes he deserves to be paid and NFF will continue to be NFF, he knows this before he got the job, if he can't cope with it let him leave the stage, no excuse should be given for failure, he's got good record in the past, he should keep it by either giving the best coaching or leaving for good.

litetias: I agree with the gaffer on the issue of Iheanacho not being ready to play for the national team. I have never seen a situation where a player who has barely proven himself at professional club level would start representing his national team. The normal trend is play well consistently for your club for at least one full season by which time the national team coach must have analysed your strengths and your weaknesses and then you 'EARN' a call-up to play for the national team where the coach already knows how to fit you into his team. Anyone calling for his inclusion based on his performances at an age competition and a couple of preseason matches barely knows football and should shut the fuc*k up. Having said that, his position on Martins is indefensible. Probably Keshi is one of those many people who believe that Martins real age is somewhere in the late thirties.
Does Age stop a person from playing? If he's scoring regularly in his club, he deserves a call up, the ones who're younger nkor what have they done? how old was Roger Milla before he retired?
