hermesprogidy: Men!!! the more this guy talks, the more I feel sorry for Nigerians. So by romancing criminals and setting free looters, you are fighting corruption? and who told him that the so-called software are fool proof? The real institutions of anti corruption (the police and Judiciary) are the ones you are weakening daily.
There will always be thieves and law breakers in society, hence we know that corruption can never be wiped out. But the most effective systems are the ones that punish perpetrators. If you know you will not get away with a crime (if caught) then the chances of you committing the crime will be reduced.
These utterances just proves Jonathan in not just clueless, but should be probed immediately he's booted out next month. What a disaster!!!! VERY ON POINT, he talks about institutions, are softwares and ITs institutions? is it not people behind them? garbage in garbage out. if you're corrupt, you'll create softwares that would aid corruption, or you'll create a loophole in the software that'll help you steal faster. Example is our NYSC Directors who partnered with a corrupt company to defraud our corpers in 2014, and we've not forgotten the job scam that killed some youths The institutions he met on ground, EFCC and ICPC, NAFDAC, how effective are they today? |

Now my own analogy: if you sell fuel say N20 a liter and heard a rumour of strike looming you quickly hurd ur fuel and put a post no fuel at the peak period of the strike u sold it at N150 as against N20 is that stealing or corruption tell me I know you Jonathanians are hardened, you'll do anything to promote your cluelessness. Oya teach me English, maybe there's a difference, maybe stealing is when a hungry poor guy posses someone else's money or properties or yahoo guy deceive someone to get away with his money while corruption is when a politician take advantage of his office to embezzle the common wealth of the people. Definitely I agree with you, they're different. one is for the small thieves, the other for the big thieves, one they'll show you in crime fighters, the other they'll give you national honours and chieftancy titles In Gej's voice 'STEALING IS NOT CORRUPTION, PETTY STEALING THAT SMALL BOYS ARE DOING YOU'RE CALLING IT CORRUPTION, JOIN GOVERNMENT AND DO THE REAL THING' Can't wait for CHANGE in FEBUHARI. |

londoner: Agreed, Jonathan should have shunned replying APC with 'like for like' insults. He should have risen above that.
If he is going to talk about anti corruption, he should have focused MUCH more on the measures he has taken, in detail and not just mention them. He should have let NIgerians know IN DETAIL what his plans are also for the future in this regard.
He had an opportunity to set his campaign apart and also get the NIgerian voters eyes back on the ISSUES.
Not the best start. This man has been in power for 6yrs, what has he done against corruption? Oh he needs 50yrs to build institutions against corruption, the best campaign is the testimony of what you've done already, what's Jona's testimony?... maybe STEALING IS NOT CORRUPTION. |

We don't need a good man, we need a man that can make Nigeria progress, We don't need a lucky man, we need someone who will bring goodluck to Nigeria We don't need a clueless man, we need someone who has a crystal clear idea of what it takes to lead a nation as complex as Nigeria I'm not necessarily a Buhari fan, but i'm ready to give someone else a chance.I'll vote for anything, as long as it's not Jonathan. |

gunuvi: Classic! How can someone be dancing around with Tinubu, Amaechi, Atiku and still saying he will fight corruption!!! Haba Buhari thinks we are blind or we are his cows? You're as clueless as ur boss, has corruption cases been brought against these people? if the answer is NO, then you've no point. But check out the list of confirmed criminals that your boss released, including the ones who stole under his watch while he turned his face elsewhere, and you'll no why he'll be going back to Otuoke come February. Moreover, if the people you listed here are truly corrupt, your boss should develop a spine and arrest them, Obasanjo put his own people to jail, tafa balogun, bode George, but Jona is such a good man, everybody is Free, he wants to build institutions to fight corruption, how long will that take? there's a reason while every developed nations in the world have prisons, it's because some people will just be animals, they'll need to be punished to teach others how to behave. |

Now that a redeem pastor and politician (Osibanjo) is against GEJ, the church policy has changed, abi?
Truly, redeem church no dey meddle with politics, they only meddle and lobby with politicians. firstly, I'm not a redeem member, but you can't question the position of the G.O in the past politicsof Nigeria, these politicians comes to them and biblically it's instructed by God to pray for those in authority, more so when they come ask for it, it doesn't mean any endorsement in anyway, at least Buhari has also been there and he was accepted, pls let's always put things in the right perspective. |

While it is easy to condemn Orisajefor and his church, government don't also make things easy for the citizenry, you want to do something and you're seeking approval, it might take a century to get it, so sometimes people just go ahead and do what they want to do, the funny thing is that if Oritsejafor's church had not gone to lagos government, they might not even know he's building anything.

Azuist: Kechi is right, sacking him will not solve the problem, infact it will make matters worse. No team succeeds without a coach, so if u sack him, u need to replace him. And if u replace him with someone that is worse than him, although this person will be difficult to find, then u ve made matters worse, if u replace him with someone like him, then we re still where we are. But if u replace him with someone better than him (very easy to get someone from this group), then we re moving ahead. So Keshi its absolutely right, sacking him will not solve the problem. sorry i later understood your sarcasm. |

thegoodjoehunt3: We have played better in every game Aluko came in recently. Check the stats. You will notice how our team pressurized the Bafana players after he came on.
Uche getting that starting role deserved to go to Aluko. With him, we would have played better. It's Emmenike that ought to give way instead, how on earth will a coach keep fielding a player that had perpetually under performed, I mean he scored a goal last, a year ago, Uche scores for is club, perhaps if he was playing with a better player, he could have up his game. |

thegoodjoehunt3: We started playing well in the Sudan game when Aluko was introduced. We beat Sudan 3-1 without Uche. So how is it because of Uche we started winning? I didn't say that we started winning because of uche, I meant we didn't lose because of him because that's what your post seems to imply, he won't perform miracle, the coach as setup a team that's bound to fail. |
