SportsRe: Keshi Shuts Out Martins, Iheanacho From Super Eagles by mpowa(m): 10:15am On Sep 23, 2014
Goke7: you didn't read my post well bro, will u give nff the money to employ a foreign coach? you don't get it, there is no money to employ a foreign coach except when the world cup is six months away cos the Fed Govt would have a made a surplus budget for the eagles that year, you can't pay 5m per month regularly and you want to employ who? so you want a coach that will play exciting football and not still get u the result, even man u plays exciting football too. siasia hardly listens just like keshi and i don't see him making any difference, can you tell me the team he's coaching now or has the national team becomes so bad to be handled by someone who has not been coaching for sometime now?
The one wey come dey give us results nkor, wetin we they play, I'd rather watch the paint dry than watch super eagles matches, the man isn't building a strong squad for Nigeria, he's only after results and the results self no come again, what's happening to TB Joshua this days.
SportsRe: Keshi Shuts Out Martins, Iheanacho From Super Eagles by mpowa(m): 9:56am On Sep 23, 2014
Goke7: I think instead of blaming keshi, the nff should be blamed, our administrators are the ones spoiling our football, they have no plan for the future of Nigerian football, the only plan they have is to wait till six months to any world cup to get a foreign coach who will bolt away after the world cup.

Truth be told, nff does not have a replacement for keshi, if they had, they would have confidently sacked keshi after the world cup, where does it happened anywhere in the world that a coach will be handling a team without a contract . Nff cannot even employ a foreign coach now, they can't afford it when paying keshi 5m a month is even an headache, I hear folks touting names like siasia, am sure FIFA can even ban Nigeria if we go ahead to replace a coach who won the nations cup and a second round finish in the world cup whether its luck or not, with a coach who could not qualify for Nations cup, this does not make sense at all.

The Nff is responsible for all this mess and even keshi knows it and that's why keshi will continue to make a meal of this mess.
You need to stop this nonsense statistics, it is the statistics people like Keshi is riding on to take Nigeria for a ride. He won the nation cup doesn't mean he's good, Demateo won the champions league with Chealse where is he now.Siasia might not have won the nation's cup but we know what he could do by his past records, under him Nigeria play more exciting, with a pattern, team scores goals, unlike now when we have only one striker and he even play from 7. And yes he's less sentimental, he doesn't call bench warmers while leaving inform players from his squad for any reason

Better still I'd prefer the NFF invite a foreign coach, not because they're better than our local coaches but because our all our coaches use sentiments and Keshi is the chief of them all
NYSCRe: NYSC Defends Online Registration by mpowa(m): 4:26pm On Sep 17, 2014
Whatever the intention is, the government had always sponsored NYSC, let the government bear the cost not corp members, and as there's no need to travel long journey just to collect call up letters, there's also no need to pay N4,000 just to collect a letter, aba!
NYSCRe: NYSC Speaks On #4000 Fee For Printing Call-up Letters. by mpowa(m): 2:50pm On Sep 11, 2014
rman: The idea is good but the fee is ridiculous.

Even if they want to charge a fee, it shouldn't be more than 500 naira
#500 is even too much, NYSC is solely funded by the federal government, alot of billions is allocated to it yealy, they should pay the company from that and students should print letters FREE atleast it's the father land they're going to serve.

josh4eva00: Peterside said absolutely RUBBISH!

1st off he said today's game didn't display good football. He was so wrong

On the contrary, South Africans clearly played far better than the eagles and kept over a 100million soccer loving Nigerians on their toes including myself.

He should be advised to observe games rather than talk silly while the game is on cos he clearly did not watch the game thoroughly.
Are you from south Africa? If yes, why are you celebrating a draw? Nigeria was poor definitely, but SA should've shown it by winning the game, well except if the draw seems like a win to them, almost there cannot kill a bird.
SportsRe: Nigeria Vs South Africa: AFCON Qualifier (0 - 0) On 10th September 2014 by mpowa(m): 9:38pm On Sep 10, 2014
AfricaMagic: Why are Nigerians sad? Didn't you ask for FEDERAL CHARACTER in the Super Eagles? This is what you get when you take out your best squad because you don't want Igbos to dominate when it is the sad truth that they are the pillars of sport in Nigeria. They won you the nation's cup and you hatefully call them BIAFRAN EAGLES. Enjoy your federal character o, or maybe Keshi should pick one player from each state to balance the equation smiley
what's this one talking about? the igbo boys that played, what did they play? abi mikel, onazi, eminike omerou and co, are they from kaduna? what was their impact in the game? we say a coach and a team are not good, you're bringing tribal nonsense into it. #hiss#
SportsRe: Nigeria Vs South Africa: AFCON Qualifier (0 - 0) On 10th September 2014 by mpowa(m): 9:19pm On Sep 10, 2014
Can someone tell me, what pattern does super eagles play?

And who's playing our number 9? Cos Eminike played 7 all through. And we rarely have even chances on goals under Keshi. And are these the best players Nigeria can produce?

So many questions i have, really i don't want us to qualify, i guess it's time for us to start from the scratch, back to the already filled drawing board, enough of celebrating mediocrity.

GreenBobo: Stick to what you like! When Inyanya was doing good music, few Nigerians knew or patronized him! He did kukure n all of a sudden he blew! I get ur point, But It's business and they call it commercial music!
it is emptiness that make people sing trash in the name of commercial music, if your calling is music, you'll sing wholesome nice lyrics and would still make it. Most of 2fase's great hits are good music.

Everybody shouldn't be in music, how can you enter studio and all you're saying is 'shake ur yansh, shake ur yansh' what can be emptier than that? and alot of them do that, including the so called super-stars, it is whackness and unwillingness to work, similar to nollywood producing 50 movies per week, they only sell stupid beats and videos, infact most of them use thesame beats. SHM!

Well sorry for loosing your money, but you should've known better, i visited his website and the first thing i noticed was that it was so poorly designed, looks like it was designed by a carpenter.

There's no way i could by a product from such a person, someone who won't take time to be professional in designing a quality site will not produce quality book or information product even if he writes all the contents by himself.

Nairaland GeneralRe: Pastor Adeboye Thanks Fans With A Pix & Note After Hitting 2M Followers by mpowa(m): 6:04pm On Aug 27, 2014
UuzbaGuuzba: I do not understand why a pastor feels the need to GIVE THANKS TO FANS for making him feel popular on a social media website that was created by an America student who may not even believe in God.

The last I remember, out Lord Jesus Christ whom we worship and whom we are to follow if ever intend to enter heaven (follow me)... Jesus never sought any polularity and as of the time he was dying on the cross everybody whom he ever heal cured and spoke to ran away. Only his mother and John the deciple remained with him till he died and was brought down from the cross. (And placed on his mother's lap).
Must everything be criticized, must you look for negative in everything? what's wrong with him thanking people who followed him while he shared the gospel and prayed for them? Stop sounding unnecessarily spiritual, you're more out to criticize than you care about humility, he has not committed any sin by thanking his fan, if you don't like it ...leave it bee! moreover i don't know the popularity this man sought after, it's not like he advertised on TV or radio, he addressed his fans from his fan page, and it's not a crime to use Facebook that someone who may not know God (as you put it) for gospel sake

Some Nigerian just have Ph.d, Pull him down syndrome, smh!
FamilyRe: Adichie’s Feminism: Vacuums And Fallacies By A. Gonzaga by mpowa(m): 9:24am On Jul 31, 2014
Alot of thanks to this writer because he's doing our society alot of good, seeing what this feminism had caused in Finland, I'd appeal to Nigerian feminist wanna be to desist from this ideology, it's not the best for us and our beautiful family structure.

Our society favours women more than men, you don't see men supporting other men for beating a woman in the public, even if she's the one at fault. Though some men beat their wives, society does not support it and we see such men as cowards. Women definitely get more jobs than men even in situations where the men are more qualified.

Women would achieve more by accepting to be women as God has made it, Men are meant to be aggressive and achieving, but women to be soft, considerate and nurturing. This is the woman's strength and not a weakness at all, when a woman is this way, she gets anything she wants from men or the society, but when she's aggressive and always trying to fight for her self, she resents the men and everyone, I'm not saying should not strive to achieve to any height, if she has the qualification, why not, but that she should remain a woman, no matter the height she attains, most of the feminists i see around at least in Nigeria are people trying to fight the order God has put in place, they don't want to submit or serve any man but ironically they want to be taken care of by a man.
TV/MoviesRe: Trailer For AY's First Movie '30 Days In Atlanta'. by mpowa(m): 10:45pm On Jul 22, 2014
akraym: AY has never made me laugh with his jokes. I bet this won't be diff
AY doesn't need to make you laugh to be a success, most of the richest comedians in Nigeria like Ay, Teju baby face, Gbenga Adeyinka and Tee A are not necessarily funny, they're only innovative and business minded, they package great stuffs that get everyone's attention while the more talented are still struggling, I'm learning alot from this, I'd rather be less talented and succeed than to be claiming talent and wallow in poverty. Brand yourself, Be innovative, Stay ahead of the pack.
Christianity EtcRe: Pastor Kumuyi Denies Banning Ipads & Phones In His Church by mpowa(m): 9:35pm On Jul 16, 2014
Chidexter: But seriously, reading the scripture through phones e.t.c is a disrespect to God. can u use ur fone to cast out demons?
"My people perish because of lack of knowledge..." so who told you it's the book called bible you use to cast out demons? Demons don't listen to the book you are carrying, they listen to THE WORD OF GOD, either it's in a book, an ipad, iphone, android or just from your mouth.

If you're in a place without any bible and are confronted by a person possessed of demons, will you start looking for bible or you'll speak the word of God that you already study and know, God's word is for your soul and spirit, not to carry a bible and start pointing it at anything

Most of the corrupt cases that hv been revealed now were actually encouraged during OBJ's tenure. Instead of using the EFCC properly, he OBJ used it to hunt everyone and anyone oppose to his govt.

when i hear corruption, i think of OBJ.

kettle calling a pot black.
OBJ can't be the master of corruption, he can be many evil, he is not a saint. But CCORRUPTION no? I'm not saying that he didn't steal his own oh! But his government was tight, people can't steal anyhow, either you are from the east, west, north or south. This government is a free for all, this is the worst government ever, no body fears anything because they know that no matter what they will go away with whatever they do, CORRUPTION, INSECURITY will drawn this present government.
PoliticsRe: 19,000 Benefit From SURE-P In South-west by mpowa(m): 12:40pm On Dec 11, 2013
BigBen10: 19,000 jobs is less than insignificant in a country like Nigeria with a population of approximately 170million people. Thats why many of you can feel the impact or even hear of someone that it affects

Now to be more candid the FG should stop the joke of 19,000 jobs today 9000 jobs tomoro. In a country with such high unemployment rate we need to create millions of jobs at time. How?

The government should start building and managing industries: steel, aluminium, coal, gold, manufacturing, sugar processing, cement, oil etc

and Please dont give that excuse that government has no business doing business. Before other developed countries handed over to private hands government ran companies for many years successfully. So dont tell me its not possible! angry
what you're suggesting is almost impossible for this government to deliver, they don't have the capacity, if you talk about EMBEZZLING money now, that's much easier. A government that can't build a stable power system, that can't build refinery while our president was busy encouraging one individual who chose to undertake the task they can't do as a whole government, a government that is still struggling with building major roads that even most 3rd world countries now take for granted. A government can't create water, good heath facilities, internet. basic, basic things. You are now talking about building industries. Well the only other option is for individuals in the government to build them with the money they STOLE from the government and they will now be the philanthropist, the one who's giving job to the jobless.

when you claim to be wise, then you become foolish, but when you accept God's wisdom, you become wise indeed. There is nothing to be implied in the story of ADAM n EVE, you don't need any DEEP THINKING. it is what it is, God told them don't it the FRUIT and it was d FRUIT, not SEX. what was God's plan for animals to procreate before the fall? Mating, what was His plans for Humans? Mating, Sex is not the forbidden fruit.
