PoliticsRe: Xenophobia: Multichoice Nigeria Condemns Attacks On Nigerians In South Africa by MPSA(m): 5:56pm On Sep 03, 2019
Ravon:
Multichoice Nigeria, Africa’s leading entertainment provider, on Tuesday condemned the xenophobic attack on foreigners in South Africa.

“MultiChoice is committed to uniting Africans through our programming and cultural initiatives. We advocate equality and condemn all forms of discrimination. The on-going violence in South Africa against foreign nationals is against the spirit of Africa, and counter-productive to the decades of work done by African leaders and well-meaning organisations to unite the continent.", John Ugbe, Chief Executive Officer of Multichoice Nigeria said in a statement.

The statement reads further,

"We are a proudly African company and although our story began in South Africa, today we represent the African continent in all its diversity through our presence across the region."

"We embrace and celebrate the diversity of varied nationalities, traditions, cultures and religions from across the continent and beyond. This is demonstrated through our multinational staff complement, our multicultural supply chain, as well as the local and international content that we showcase on both our DStv and GOtv platforms."

"We believe Africa’s full potential can only be realised through dialogue, peace, and unity. This is a sombre period for every African on the continent and beyond, and we urge all our customers, followers, and stakeholders to shun violence.”

TravelRe: University Students Rush To See Helicopter After Emergency Landing In Kogi. PICS by MPSA(m): 10:43pm On May 03, 2019
dainformant:
There was a brief commotion after a helicopter landed at the stadium in Kogi State University earlier today. It was gathered that the helicopter made an emergency landing at the school due to bad weather.

The University's stadium was overcrowded with students who rushed to the scene in their numbers to catch a glimpse of the chopper and also to take some pictures.

The pilot later revealed they were flying to Abuja, but because of the weather condition, they landed inside the school stadium as it was about to rain.

The helicopter later left for its destination after spending some minutes there.

TravelRe: Is Lagos The Most Developed State In Nigeria? by MPSA(m): 10:38am On Mar 10, 2019
JeffSiberstein:
Why Lagos is the way it is:
● Lagos, in relation to other states in Nigeria (maybe, except Abuja) is the most developed and civilised state in the country.

● Hence, massive immigration into Lagos from different parts of the country as everybody believes they can make it there.

● Hence, overpopulation.

● Hence, traffic jam, inflated prices, increased investment, wonderful social life, diverse culture...

● Since everyone is in Lagos to 'make it', they try to outsmart you or you outsmart them or you play fair (this is rare). Hence, the upbeat lifestyle. You have to be sharp...even to board a bus.

Random Review Points (RRP):
● Lagos is to Nigeria as NYC is to the US of A.

● Lagos teaches you lessons, mostly by first-hand experience.

● Lagos is a state with countless job opportunities; be it white collar, golden collar or a no-collar job (Trust me, we have those too).

● Lagos is totally upbeat. In Lagos, the race is for the swift! In fact, if you're too slow, it pisses people off.

● Lagos is fun. They are many places you could go to have fun. And if you don't go, fun finds you.

● Lagos life is quite stressful. If you're new to Lagos, you would want to leave almost immediately. But after a while, you adapt.

● Oh yea, Lagos teaches you to adapt to anything.

● Lagos has a place for the rich and the poor, the tall and the short, the smart and the stupid, the kind and the not-very-kind. Once you arrive, you know where you fall. Quite automatically

● Whoever you are, Lagos has something (and/or someone for you).

For me Lagos is where they are because they have the only functional seaport in Nigeria.

From Quora.
I understand the meaning of development very well, Yes, Lagos is well developed.
