Amalekki: He was becoming a technocrat. He got his MSc in Environmental Control and Mgt from OAU, Ife in 2015 and I believe he's trying to apply the knowledge. He supported the youth's participation in governance and parties' tolerant. 2 Likes 1 Share |

stasius: I understand this is true for most politicians but Ayoola Kehinde, Honourable as I fondly called him then was a good man. We were close doing our postgraduate days at OAU, Ife and one an occasion donated blood to his wife. I remember one occasion in 2012 where I met him privately and asked how he survives being a politician in PDP. He was a different being before dumping the party for SDP, being campaign manager for the current governor all times. So sad, RIP sir. 3 Likes |

This is very gruesome murder for an innocent baby. I think it's high time men or expectant fathers start being invited for ante-natal classes especially at least once in the 1st, once in the 2nd and once in the 3rd trimester of their wife/woman's pregnancy stages. Men have to be told and aware that they DETERMINE THE SEX/GENDER OF THEIR BABIES NOT THE WOMAN! The woman only has a standby X sex chromosome in their egg and a man's sperm has either X or Y chromosome. Sadly Y chromosomes are weaker and slower; and after birth, the weak becomes the strong. 5 Likes |
Politics / Re: BREAKING NEWS: Buhari Government Receives $311m Abacha Loot from US by MrAAA(m): 3:22pm On May 04, 2020 |
Abacha was not corrupt according to Buhari... I think I can now agree with him, Abacha was saving for Nigeria for the rainy days like this when we are still hawking our crude oil in the international markets with no buyer because of COVID-19. Despite the evils of the Western govt, I still appreciate them for a level of honesty especially in the investigation and tracking of Abacha loot for several years now. All the ones looted within Nigeria cannot be found, even this one sef, we will not know how the money would be spent. USA should have just used the money to buy something for Nigeria as 'wise' adults do for foolish kids. 1 Like |

It's an unfortunate situation though. Most of them in some countries might be those on tourist visas, business trips and some taking up the opportunity as work leave. All those that would be repatriated APPLIED to the Consulate Offices across the respective countries. |

Education / Re: If Lockdown Persists, What Will Happen To Our Education System? by MrAAA(m): 6:33pm On Apr 17, 2020 |
It's not much problem for the younger minds as they would be able to catch up faster than you expected. Since this lockdown, parents should start teaching kids informally. Teach them culture, language, arts, crafts and mind sports/games. Advanced teachers and students can begin e-learning. Today, I had my international certificate course on Zoom Meetings. It was interesting and very interactive as in class room too. 1 Like

seangy4konji: Some people wants to see the victims first and probably test positive and experience it before believing whatever they choose to believe and then turn to God for healing. It is a responsibility for everyone to keep themselves safe. When everyone is doing the needful prevention measures, everyone would be protecting themselves as well as others. It is now a collective duty of responsibility. People who are of the opinion of our tropical climate condition not favouring the virus, it could be true environmentally. For example, if the virus can survive outside the body for 2 weeks in temperate regions, it might survive outside the body for 1 week in tropical regions like Nigeria. The problem is not when it is outside the human body but when it gets inside the human body as all humans irrespective of your race, location, age maintain the same INTERNAL BODY TEMPERATURE which the virus has successfully been able to thrive in. So just kuku remove climate or weather from inside the main equation and keep safe. USA, UK and the big wigs of Europe are suffering from their initial laxity towards the virus. To the point USA is advising her citizens to remain where they are as their hospitals are already over stressed. |

Yenefer: That should be a prayer rather than a doubt. I am sure you wouldn't want someone you know contract the virus. BTW, Nigeria has a population of over 200 Million, each state has well over 1 million population and the number of recorded cases in the states affected are less than 100 per state. That's less than 0.01 percent of just 1 million. So expect it to be very very rare and keep yourself safe. Wash your hands regularly for a minimum of 30 seconds Avoid picking your nose and eyes Use a nose mask Maintain social distancing Any time you go out, wash your hands FIRST before touching anything. #stay-at-home #StaySafe |

clubkonnect: Thank you. But you don't need my mobile number for a service I had already requested for using my personal bank account. The first time I used your service, it was good and impressive, you did not have to call me neither did I send any complaint email. |

Ayemileto: It's a shame. Today is the 5th day, they claim they have not received my payment despite several proofs. Many persons had and currently experiencing the same issues. We keep quiet, the scheming continues ripping people off their money without providing service. |

Titay: They only respond to first query emails and your further complaints will not be regarded. They received my deposit yet refused to credit my wallet. All messages to their email address were not replied. They should be blacklisted here on Nairaland.com and their advert taken down. |

In as much as I have said negative things about clubkonnect.com, they eventually credited my account duely not long ago. Clubkonnect.com, you shouldn't have to wait for your name to be dragged through a messy social media mud before doing the needful. If you have technical issues, admit it and let your customer know in few hours instead of keeping them in limbo. Thank you for your calls and resolving the issue. I can still use your service but then, I will be ready for whatever outcome. |

Dammiegold: I tested @clubkonnect funding my account 09030375068 with 1000 for data. I got my account wallet credited. I tried again with 2000 since 20th March, 2020 I have not been credited and I sent emails, only 1 response. All other emails are not responded to and customer care lines always busy and not allowing me to wait on the call longer. Clubkonnect.com is VERY UNRELIABLE to do business with. I will continue to call them out on all social handles I know until I get credited. If you don't complain, they will just take the money without service provided. I recommend that @Seun take their advert off Nairaland.com until they prove themselves reliable. Eventually, service has been rendered. You guys need to improve on your services and when there is any technical issues, don't wait for you to be called out before promptly getting in touch with the displeased customer. |
Sports / Re: Who Is Your Favourite To Win Ballon D'or 2019? by MrAAA(m): 9:51pm On Dec 02, 2019 |
Congrats to Messi! But it breaks my heart that most ratings are biased towards scoring goals and assists and little consideration for the composed defenders and keepers. |
Sports / Re: Who Is Your Favourite To Win Ballon D'or 2019? by MrAAA(m): 7:24pm On Dec 02, 2019 |
While the top 3 are great contenders for the honour, why always attackers and midfielders that get the honour most times? Because of goals and assists? Trophies? Okay, while that is good, how about the defenders (Canavaro in 2006)? The goalies? The basis of major considerations for the honour is biased towards wings played by the player. To me, not fair enough grounds. I will like VVD to win though. |

I just enquired about the state of the young man from one of the cleared commissioners, Fakorede has been cleared and will be sworn in next week. Sarki's sister is in APC while his brother was former senate president of PDP. Let's stop bias and give capable hands an opportunity in Oyo. 4 Likes 2 Shares |

You live in Delta State, she's not coming for fanfare or tourism. However, I would advise you have the marriage registered in your local registry or even come to Benin, Edo State, get to any of the registries, and you will spend quiet little money unless for hotel accommodation and transportation. My best friend married an American with 2 kids. I was part of all their marriage plans and preparations including the registry part. It's pretty easy. If your apartment is not secure, get a cheap hotel. I hope she knows about your financial situation. 9 Likes 1 Share |
