Officer Bature!!! Give am 1. angry

@ Topic:: I have said it that until I see the Governments Anti-Corruption Torchlight flashed heavily on the Nigerian Police Service, I will continue to take all these EFCC inviting Diezani and FFK and Dasuki to be Political matters.

The Corruption many Nigerians face daily is the one perpetrated by the Nigerian Police.

Imagine a Nigerian Police officer arresting me for driving with expired temporary license. Even after I sent the short text to FRSC and the response showed that my Permanent License was still under processing. After parting with 2'k, I pulled up on an FRSC checkpoint and stopped without even them stopping me to ask them if it was illegal to drive with an expired temporary Drivers License and they said NO it wasnt and that they have informed the Nigerian Police.

Till tomorrow, many people are still being harassed for this.

The Nigerian Police hierarchy are the most corrupt of them all. Everytime you see a Mobile Policemen as an escort to a private citizen or oil companies, that is pure corruption as the Nigerian Police Officer cannot be assigned to protect individual citizens except they are SPY POLICE.

Those Guys should write a petition to NOPRIN. I am surprised they did not take the names of all the officers involved. angry

A handless person cannot participate in a HANDwriting competition. Same way a Legless person cant participate in FOOTball..

If such a person can, then its just a WRITING competition and not a HANDwriting competition.

Secondly, if a handless and legless man can drive, that I believe nothing in impossible.

so blowing up of oil pipeline and killing innocent farmers which one is far more dangerous

undecided undecided

Farmers will die, we can count the damage.

Oil Spill will kill more people, plants and animals than 'Herdsmen' will and we will never be able to extimate the damage (both direct and indirect.)

as usual the fulani herdsmen are not terrorist bur the Niger delta avengers that have not killed any soul are now terrorist
undecided undecided

it is so funny how buhari is playing with this herdsmen attack because they are his kinsmen but niger delta avengers that are blowing up oil pipeline in their own community are being targeted with all their weapons in their arsenal

shame

once again buhari has shown that there are some group of people that are untouchable in this country

maybe the Niger delta avengers should change their name to THE FULANI AVENGERS and other groups like shites Muslims and the IPOB should follow suits
undecided undecided

How does this your post make any sense to you? undecided

Niger Delta Avengers are terrorists just as much as Boko Haram are terrorists.

Blowing up pipelines in their area does not make them any less terrorizing than they actually are.

Fulani Herdsmen are not Terrorists just like Niger Deltans are not Militants. From time immemorial, we have always had our fair share of issues of trespass with the herdsmen, but this is the first time we are seeing such violent attacks allegedly from them.

I strongly believe these people are Boko Haram terrorists.

My Father was once a Special Marshall of the FRSC when it first started.

Once in a while, they use to have these Checkpoints where the stopped vehicles, run checks, issue citations and fines to defaulters, control traffic, e.t.c.

One day, dad came home unusually late. He looked really shaken up, terrified and solemn at the same time. When we enquired what happened, Dad told us a story;

On their special Marshal checkpoint that evening after work, they had stopped a commercial Bus that had no headlights or tail lights. Whilst they were still running checks and inspections, the bus driver throws the Vehicle into gear and runs over one the of Marshal's. The Bus driver dragged the Marshal under the Bus for a few meters before the Man came unstuck and drove off. The Marshall's immediately banded and rushed their fallen comrade to the Hospital, needless to say, the Man died leaving behind a young family. Dad said had it happened a few seconds earlier, he would have been in the path of the Driver and would have been killed.

That was the last day Dad ever participated in Marshal activities.

A Man died doing a Volunteer Service to his Country.

I commend this Man, but I will not be caught doing such. Nigerians will curse at you and even run you over just because they can and you don't have a Gun.

A Guiltless Man would not be afraid to go home when he heard his wife was unresponsive.

He would have ordered that she be taken to hospital and he would have rushed there himself.

ziggy3579:
Lekan Shonde recounts final moment with his late wife
My first contact with Lekan Shonde was in the office of the Commander, Rapid Response Squad (RRS), ACP Tunji Disu. He was already seated with his friends. As I walked in, silence fell on everyone. I exchanged pleasantries and I saw a guy, who was looking tired and worn out. It was obvious his world has crashed on his head.

He was shaking his head intermittently. His words were not too audible, but he kept on saying “I didn’t kill her, I didn’t kill. ” In order to get the best out of him, I needed to get closer. He was now an orphan overnight, a leper no one wanted to touch.

Even his siblings had all deserted him. In my presence, he called his younger brother to come over, but the young man gave one excuse or another on why he couldn’t make it even with assurances from those of us there.

The first question I asked him was ”Lekan, say the truth, did you kill your wife?” He looked me straight in the eyes, head bent and with a low voice that has seen so much anguish in the past few days and said an emphatic “No. I did not kill her, God is my witness.” I didn’t know whether to believe him or not.

He continued: “Before that day, we had been having issues. Since my wife lost her former job (as a banker), I had been the one taking care of all her needs, including the upkeep of our two children. On the day in question, we had some issues.”

He was interjected to explain what the issues were. “I noticed some months back that my wife suddenly changed after she started working for a packaging company in Lagos. She suddenly came home very late. She went to work from Monday to Sunday and hardly prepared food for me and the kids.

“Even with her job, I still took care of her. I have two cars parked in the house, I don’t drive, she was the one who drove the two cars. All my finances were under her care. Even my ATM cards were with her. She drew money from them as she liked. I have been doing my job as a responsible man but I don’t know why my wife suddenly changed.

“Before that day, my wife told me that she was travelling to Abuja on a business trip on behalf of her company and that she would be off for four days. I allowed her. She left me with the two children, agedix and four. I had to combine my job with that of taking care of them.

“A day to her return, a friend called to ask me if I was aware that my wife travelled to Abuja with her boss (name withheld) and they lodged in the same room. I was shocked because my wife never told me she was travelling with him, talkless of sharing room with him for four days. I kept my cool, but was highly worried.

“On her return, I came back earlier than usual, opened the door with my spare key, walked into the house unannounced and overheard her speaking on the phone, ranting away: ’I really enjoyed all our love-making, my whole private part is now paining me from all your bangings, I can’t wait for us to have a repeat of the action, you are the best, my love.’

“While she was saying all that, I walked into the room and she was shocked. I was speechless. She knelt down and started begging me.”

Did you beat her? I interjected again. “No, I didn’t beat her.” He was staring at the floor as he answered me. “Nothing happened, I just stroke my hands around her face (probably slapped her). I left her at that.

“In the morning, I dressed up to go to work. I normally leave for work at about 5:00a.m. daily since I work in Apapa. When I came out, I saw her lying on the couch. I felt she was sleeping and didn’t bother to wake her up. I went away with my key and asked our son to padlock the door from inside.

“It was while I was at work that the nanny called me that they had been trying to ask my wife to open the door but without any response. I asked them to break the door open if she was not responding.

“I was on my way home when I called for update and was told there were police everywhere. Based on this, I was scared. I had to stay away from the house and scene since then.”

The amount spent to commission bridge with these canopies that I'm seeing might even be more than the amount spent on the bridge. I only blame Oga Amechi that almost finished the road and leave the small bridge. That's why I like Wike, he ensure that most of the past administration project is completed which shows that government is continuous Anyway I'm happy about the opening of the road after amost 8months blockage at least it will reduce Amadi,Amadi traffic.

The only Positive from Wike so far is that he continued the Project Amaechi started.

But the way he throws parties to commission these projects and then try to take all the glory to himself is just shameful to put it lightly.
