SPG4U:So your stupid God of Karma destroyed a building in revenge for the Governor enforcing a State Law? Did it occur to you that if a Church couldnt be in a residential area, a Cinema or Library or any other commercial business couldnt be there as well? You just renewed your subscription for Foolishness. |

So who collect the 500 Naira note and wetin dem buy? |
jackie35:Good Point! Every building before being erected, the plan must be approved by the Government agency responsible and they are suppose to monitor and inspect the building throughout the structural phase, but that never happens. Once they collect your money, they stamp their approval, the builder can then go and do whatever they like. Thats why we have so many collapsing buildings in the country. |
oyb:Watchers.. ![]() |
abatisegun:I did not condemn any group. Yet you have attacked me. #Typical.. I simply said, since you guys don't want the rest of us 'Non-Muslim' commenting on your threads, then you should keep your discussions in your section (where only you guys can access) and not disturb the general peace and quiet of the Website with your topics on the frontpage. You see why you and your fellow Muslims and your business need to be kept away from the general public? |
I wonder what this mean |
Respeck! |
Another Government once again fails in its duties thus resulting in death of Nigerians. R.I.P to the dead. @Nairaland Mods: Why bring Muslim threads to the frontpage when people cant freely comment on them? ![]() Since the muslims wont dont like Non-Muslims commenting on their thread without confessing their alligiance to the Prophet Muhammed, then they should stay in their corner away from the free world and none to their threads should be on the frontpage. #NoMoreMuslimThreadsOnTheFrontPage. ![]() |

Weak Governments all over the place. ![]() Give them an Ultimatum and a deadline and if they dont move, use police to forcibly eject them and send in the Bulldozers. ![]() |
logica:Oil Blocs, Gold mines, Bitumen mines, e.t.c all belong the the Federal Government and thus reserve the right to allocate or lease them out to successful bidders. If the Niger Deltans that are wealthy and rich cant pull together and lease these Oil Blocs and the Yorubas do, then the Yorubas get it. Again, its business not personal. However, I believe that host communities should be greater involved in oil exploration activities and should get first dibs at jobs and remedial measures to minimize the impact of environmental pollution and degradation should be added as part of the sales agreement to whoever buys these blocs. |
eplanning:Me Iidiot? ![]() Just because you say 'Fact' in your post does not make it an actual 'fact'. I will indulge you in a mature debate based on points, but if all you bring to the table is sheer sentiments, you are on your own. Only kids resort to insults in a debate. I have not insulted you, nor the OP whom I quoted and don't believe I deserve to recieve any from you. |
logica:I really don't care who wins it. Its business not Tribalism or Inheritance. |
omowolewa:Thats because the government is carry way too many fhucking responsibilities that they cant effectively handle. The federal Government need to unburden itself of sooo many things like; Refineries, Electricity, telecommunications, Stadiums, Airports, Seaports, e.t.c. |
Please they should concession Rivers State Airport na.. dem dey forbid better thing for Niger Delta? |
WTF? I am shocked out of my bones. |
Analorgue:Amuse myself, Indeed I did.. ![]() Sentimental? Far from it. I have always maintained that the one thing successive Governments have gotten wrong is desemination of information. Fuel Subsidy must go. This point is not negotiable. The OP saying the scarcity of Forex was an intentional ploty by the administration to remove subsidy is comical at best. Saying things have only gone south under this administration remains purely a matter of perspective. I don't think there was much anybody could do about the state of our affairs at this moment. Nigeria is still an import dependent economy and our major export which accounts for over 85% of our foreign income is now next to worthless. We are still not agriculturally sufficient. Power situation is very piss poor and also caused in part by poor regulation and inappropriate price setting by the government which led to Distribution and Generation companies running at a loss and being unable to pay the Gas suppliers that power the Turbines. Our refineries are old and outdated and barely functioning. Infrastructural decay has been ongoing for a long time. A lot of white elephant projects litter the nation. We are not industrialised because of many of the above stated factors, corruption and unreasonable legislation passed for selfish reasons. I could go on and on and explain to you how this subsidization business has ruined many sectors of the nation including but not limited to Tertiary Institutions and the likes. But that is a matter for another day. Open market policy has dropped the price of Diesel and telecommunications in Nigeria, same will happen to PMS with time. I stand with the Presidency on this decision. |
