You are not totally saying the truth..

You can't track a number without the police authorization. Which cost so much money...so what do you mean by you contacted a private tracker..

Stop cooking up stories , you are not talking with kids.

In your myopic mind, you think it's only police who can track effectively?

Stop displaying naivety in a public forum like this.

And for you to think we did tracking free baffles me.

You don't even know the organization the tracker work with.

Anyways I m glad she has returned home.

They're already here again to vent their frustration again, nothing can ever be true to them.

I've said mine, if they like let them not believe.

ThankGod she is safe and sound
Not harm

Now for some analysis
A girl you said is not wayward left home because of a quarrel with her aunt, didn't see it fit to call her mother to inform her of the issue.
After realising that she couldn't afford the fare
She decided to go and stay with a friend

A girl at such age wants to punish everyone by running away, could also want to commit suicide just to punish everyone

Things are worked on buildups

So please you guys should better reprimand a that girl or watch her closely because been academically brilliant doesn't mean you are morally upright.

Yes, I think there was a build up of past quarrels, you know we can't discount that where we have mostly women. Again, it would have been a different story if the father wasn't late.

I believe she had some sense talked into her head since yesterday.

Anyways, she's a lovely person to always be around nevertheless

Glad she is safe and sound... That was so wrong of her to do.
I don't even know maybe I should say you should reprimand her for this... But before she we decide to 'punish' you guys again. Lol

Glad you found her...

Thank you, we've done our bit, everything is now left to her either take to it or throw them out of the windows.

But one thing I'm sure of is that she regrets her not well thought out actions, the trauma she put those women through can't be mentioned here sef

Crime / Udensi Ngozi Opemipo: My Missing Niece Is Now Back Home by mradjoy(m): 1:20pm On Jun 05, 2023
The previous thread:
https://www.nairaland.com/7713767/udensi-ngozi-opemipo-missing-seen#123550647

I'd like to use this medium to appreciate everyone who empathize with us, those who prayed with us and those who called me from this forum without knowing who I am to offer some valuable advice which partly contributed to her returning back home yesterday on her own volition.

My sincere appreciation goes out to Seun Osewa who swiftly swung into action by moving the thread to the Frontpage immediately after I contacted him.

And to that wonderful journalist who contacted me from The Punch News, they offered to publish it and use their connection to contact the Lagos CP to expedite action on my niece's search.

Lastly to those set of people who's got warped mindset, always thinking every little girl we have in Nigeria are wayward, well, it's not really your fault because if you know how brilliant my niece is, you wouldn't doubt her purity at such tender age. I read so many unruly comments here, but decided to ignore majority of them because I believe it's almost impossible for a brilliant little girl like her, who had near perfect WAEC result at one sitting, and also scored over 300 in JAMB to be wayward at the same time. If you have her as your sister or daughter would you ever have the thought of waywardness towards her?

She had a quarrel with her aunt while her mom was at work, so she decided to punish everybody according to her by leaving the house for them.

She'd initially planned to seize the opportunity to visit her paternal grand parent in Imo state, but on getting to the park, she couldn't afford the fare, she had to go visit her friend somewhere in Ijegun, Lagos instead of heading back to Bariga. I believed her because the tracking result we got from the private tracking guy we employed showed exactly the same thing she'd earlier narrated.

Up until now I never knew there was a tracking system that gives precise location, the street name, the house number, even to the room you're, this tracking system is so effective and powerful to the point of tracking mobile number even when it's switched off.

Now, I was wondering why can't FG use same or better technology to combat insurgency in Nigeria?

So cutting the long story short, we decided to send her a text msg containing those information we gathered about her whereabout and she knew the game was up and decided to call her aunt, then her mom to inform them she was heading home already.

We're happy and glorify God for her safety. Thanks and God bless you all.

Update: I've been trying to update the initial post but nairaland won't allow me to modify it

She's called her aunt that she's in her mom's church, but when her mom got there she was no where to be found

So she hasn't returned home yet, I don't know if she's been manipulated by her abductor to call without going home yet.

I'll update later as we unravel the mystery

Thank you all

I'm sorry, I meant to type she hasn't returned home yet

You are a bloody liar and a tief. I met one recently and she said her parents just input Yoruba name for her. For what purpose?

Where's the lie? He actually guessed right, her father is an Igbo man from Imo State born and brought up in Lagos and her mother, a Yoruba woman from Lagos State.

I don't think we should engage ourselves with such online frivolous ethnic fight that doesn't add a dime into anyone's bank balance.

So you're not a family member and you posted it on the internet..

If it was your own relative that was missing will you post it on the internet

How do we know that the girl is not in your own apartment?

You should be the first person the security agencies search and question.

I hardly insult people online even though this is a faceless forum.

Nevertheless, you have to be careful the way you pass unruly comment on people anywhere online and even offline.

If you'd carefully read my initial post you would have seen where I wrote "my niece" what does that mean to you?
If you don't know you could easily have consulted Google or chatgpt for help.

Secondly, I sought her mother's consent before bringing it here or did you think I would've brought it here on my own volition without seeking approval before doing so even though the girl in question is my first niece?

Now, read the initial post carefully this time, check the time I opened the thread and the time the actually event took place. Again, where did I get the pictures and other information if I wasn't related to her?

Mind you, I would've done the same thing if she was my daughter, and BTW, she is my daughter, we're Nigerians, my younger sister's daughter is also my daughter.

Lastly, oya say this short prayer after me, my mouth will not kill me

What is wrong with you Nigerian girls ? Especially when the truth is being spoken? Dude, that guy is very correct because normally when a girl is declared missing, she's obviously hanging out with a guy in an hotel without telling her parents.

In my street here, a girl was declared missing few days ago and after her family searched everywhere for her, it was discovered that she elope with a guy and went to his house for more than 2 weeks. Na she use her legs come back after discovering she was pregnant. So what are you saying again? The OP should check her boyfriend's house or those yahoo boys around their area there. E sure me die say the girl dey collect better dick

She doesn't have a boy friend according to her mom
