guiddoti: A responsible father will provide for his daughter likewise a responsible daughter will depend on God when the father cannot provide rather than depending on fb
Yes a responsible father will do such when he has the capacity to do so, what if he does not have the capacity to do so will he kill himself on that?
Yes a responsible girl will depend on God when the father couldn't provide, but remember that God our creator who can do everything still ask us to ask and it shall be given.
In this case, this lady claimed she never asked the man, but he offered to help her pay for the accommodation but unfortunately, he's asking for sexual gratifications which to me personally is wrong.
Now, let's look at it from a different perspective, do you know that the man in question could still have his way several times after helping this girl first? Rather than asking for instant gratification, why don't you do your bit first, then let the game play itself out naturally?
uchennamani: let me devote some time to you then. My names are Uche Nnamani. I'm a proud igbo person. Why am I proud? I'm proud because we, the Igbos, have the biggest equity in Nigeria. I'm proud because the igbos controlled all the major commercial points in all the states of the federation. I'm proud because we are not marginalized in this country. Perhaps, before, but not since the return to civilian rule in 1999. I'm proud because it took an igbo priest in the person of Rev. Mbaka to come bold and criticize GEJ's government when the ship of our statehood was being led astray by the last administration. Mbaka's new year message was not a prophecy that PMB will be assassinated; rather, his message was that some bad people that nearly killed this country will try and kill him but they won't succeed. A person of your standard ought to equipped with analytical skills to unravel a post like this. This and more reasons is why I said that your comprehension skill is rather low. Did you go to school in the north?
You're one of the Igbos I respect, good comment from you there. Chai you get sense o.
Mamog: Sorry to burst ur bubble I'm not Igbo by tribe.. but are u saying buhari should procure 3billon naira worth of cars for himself while he denies others from same?... I have not supported the national assembly I'm only saying buhari is as guilty as the house. He should remove the log in his eyes so that he was effectively remove the log in someone else's eyes... I repeat buhari is a bad a a house members...
You should go back and watch the presidential chat again bro.
He said it categorically that he rejected 400m cars to be purchased for him, that he's fine with the ones he has already which could serve for next 10 years.
If given the chance PMB will surely perform no doubt, but these legislators wouldn't afford him the needed support lailai.
kushe: MTN will be foolish to pay this fine. Why should one company pay for a whole country's collective myopia and inability to diversify its economy. I have always maintained this stand and I am in no way connected to mtn. Read my previous posts before you spew trash. Nigerian youth, get brain in the new year, your apc govt are lecturing you on extortion 101 and the Acts of a government so thirsty for power but lacking in the means to rule.
Why should MTN be singled out for exoneration?
Other networks flouted and paid up their fines even the indigenous one among them did. So why should MTN flouted same law and expect to be left off the hook?
I believe you have not been reading news to know that MTN lines were mainly used by criminals e.g. kidnappers, vandals and pirates to perpetrate their evil acts, thereby making it difficult for authorities to catch them because their lines weren't registered.
Just few days ago, this MTN mast was found housing radio Biafra's broadcasting whatever!
MTN cup is full, since they can't comply with this simple rule of disconnecting unregistered lines because of their selfish economic gains, then let them face the music.

Happy new year to all nairalanders, may this year be a fruitful and successful year for all of us, I pray that all our enemies shall tremble and tumble when they see us this year and may we never have a better last year in the Mighty name of Jesus christ of nazareth. Oya say amen by clicking like
MTN must have watched or listened to PMB last night na, the man isn't smiling at all o . The era of bribing corrupt politicians are over. MTN should just pay up and continue their business without delay.
danmike1: Nigeria Won’t Release 2 Detainees Despite Court Orders. Washington Post. - Politics - Nairaland
I pity Nigerians. When you rejoice that your courts' rules are flaunted and your Government acts like a dictatorship, it is a travesty of justice and what goes around comes around to bite you in the as.s.
That's why a policeman can shoot you in the streets without repercussions
A DSS official can kill other security agents due to a temper tantrum
A former DSS boss can be thrown out of his house by the same organisation he has so well served
If you don't understand that certain officers operate by absolute instructions from Mr President then we are not yet ready to play Nation-State.
The likes of Gusau where former NSA and expended monies Ad libitum, why have they not been arrested?
There are 3 Arms of Government for a reason, to check such excesses by the Executive or any other Arm.
It is fundamentally illegal to still detain him after 3 competent Judges of the Federal Court have freed him ab initio.
Osibanjo, Fashola and other Nigerians are sworn Senior Advocates of the Supreme Court of our lands.
Bill Cosby was accused of molestation, taken to court yesterday and freed on a Million dollar bail. The Judge even wished him the best of luck in his case.
Do you know why developed countries are developed? It's because the set rules and everyone obeys them. Including all people in Government. The truth is President Jonathan gave him instructions as Mr President to expend some money, at that point, those instructions where law to him. Except if Mr President denounces or denies his actions, which is not, from the documents released so far.
Mr Buhari should watch how he treats political opponents. When Buhari was incarcerated after the IBB Coup (in which Dasuki allegedly arrested him), Nigerians and the international community creed out to ensure he was not hurt and eventually released.
Let us obey the laws of our land please. This is not a jungle.
I pity lawyers reading this events without raising their voices, including Nigerians too. In law you do not 'trick' people. All evidence is placed before the court. In fact the accuser can request and have access to all charges labelled against them.
Tricking even the learned judges is illegal. We must stand and speak against illegality. Buhari came to power because the rule of law had broken down and a few people were running the country like an empire. It must not repeat itself again!
Don't you think if not because of rule of law, Dansuki wouldn't have been dead by hanging by now? Did you know the gravity of the offense Dasuki committed compared to that of Mr. Cosby?
Dasuki never thought of rule of law when he was eating our yam abi? Infact, did you share part of the loot that you're defending him on? Why is it that we don't warn these looters about the consequences of their actions when they start spending and looting what belongs to the state, and we start condemning the state when it applies it power to recover what has been looted by criminals?
Yes, Dasuki was released by some courts fine, but was charged and rearrested for fresh charges. The truth is we want him to feel the heat as well so as to know it's not a good thing to commit crime against the state and humanity in general.
Those displaced persons are suffering everyday, if he'd done the needful he wouldn't have found himself in this mess, afterall he did not even deny the crime sef, wetin come be your own na?
Darlduchi: I have just finished watching events as it occurred during the Biafra genocide, and surprisingly the youruba's were demonstrating in lagos, calling Ojukwu a thief and other names, they where more determine to kill and crush the defenceless people of the East even though most Yoruba's at the time were Christians.
I have been thinking why the hate, why so much hate, even till today? you think their youths will have a remorse after killing over three million. and directly starving a million innocent Biafran' children . Why the Hate youruba people, why so much hate? What has the Igbo's Done to you people, is it a crime to be called by God's name as does the Igbo's.
I can understand the natural hate amongst the Hausa(Ishmelites) as it has God has put that enmity between us, and they have never hidden their hate and taste for Biafra blood till this day.
As a strong believer, i have come to a conclusion. If God be God may he show mercy to his Children which are called by his name. Chidimma, Nnamdi, Kelechi etc, by destroying our enemies even thier Children, if he is not God of Biafran's, let us all perish again as did in 1960-70.Amen
No one hates the Igbos, but the Igbos themselves, If truly Yorubas hate Igbos as you claimed, why then did the administration of BR Fashola appointed Ben Akabueze as one of his commissioners for 8 good years?
In the last general elections, not less 3 Igbos were elected as representatives to Lagos HoA and Fed HoR, if you're not aware of this just make google your friend ok? The truth is you guys are never satisfied with what you have, you'll always want more even after you have a handful already!
nike4love: do you also knw in america, that niger is an offnsive word., not to talk of niger area? what would u called a man that said ppl will perish in lagoon if they vote their candidate? love speech abi? buying ppl to testify against a man that has been granted bail twice makes no sence. buharis statement last night means that he is the executive and judiciary.
Yes he was granted bail, but rearrested for fresh charges, and that's constitutional my brother.
peedeeasobie: Let me say something here and please I want to be on record...
Many APC people will regret voting this man into power.
No matter your party affiliation, you should never support a president who flouts court orders. Its not a good thing for the democracy, that's how dictators are born. He even had the guts to say 'I hope the judges are watching'.
When a president starts disobeying court orders and starts passing judgments on accused people who the law presumes innocent, we should be afraid.
The judiciary is the last hope of the common man, when their powers are neglected, the nation is sunk.
Listen to me carefully, this man will disobey more court orders, he has found out that its possible... after all there is no public outcry. He even ordered the police to shoot innocent people that protested against the continuous detention of Nnamdi Kanu.
Don't laugh when your neighbour's house is burning, because it will soon be your turn.
All the lawyers in this country, including myself should be ashamed of themselves. We should hide our faces in shame. Our legal profession is a huge embarrassment to this country.
The fact that we haven't boycotted the courts and gone on massive protests is a big shame.
Shame on Nigeria, shame on APC, Shame on the legal practitioners.
May our children not spit on our graves!
What kind of a lawyer are you, charge and bail?
A learned lawyer who chose to condemn a political party of a 7 month old Administration and partially left out d other political party who put us in dis mess after ruling us for 16 good years? I guess you're part of them that sends d one who stole pepper to 10 years imprisonment and give a slap on d wrist to d one who stole billions of dollars meant for national growth and security because he's gonna share d loot with you or what.
Oga lawyer, you said PMB flout court orders, ehen he should allow Dasuki to run away as Dieziani did abi? But wait oga lawyer, why didn't Dasuki think about court orders before deciding to send his people in d north east to their early graves. If this is what it'll take us to d ever elusive promise land so be it.
The judiciary that is full of corrupt judges is what you're expecting PMB to obey so as to allow corrupt lawyers like you to advantage of. You ought to know better when it comes to law right? So you didn't know that a criminal can be rearrested with a different charges even after a court discharges/absolves him of d former charges?
Abeg go back to school and spend more time with ur books.
sammhi: the OP must be Garba or Sheu but it is good. I enjoy the OP summary better than listening to PMB . maybe PMB has problem with conveying his message . I didnt watch it but heard a few over the radio ..but this summary really conveys the message PMB means well but he should learn to be respect the law too..no matter his sincerity if PMB does not respect the law then why should the court listen to him....
Respect the law my foot! So Dasuki respect law abi? Whoever disobeys law when committing atrocities, the same law should be disobeyed when dealing with such person simple.
Why are some people calling PMB to follow due process, rule of law etc. Ehen, did Dasuki and co followed due process when embezzling and misappropriating our funds even at the expense of national security? Should PMB allow those same corrupt judges who freed Yakubu who stole pension funds and jailed one guy who stole goat in Ekiti to 10 years in prison? Please my people think before you talk na.
Mcowubaba: This is Crap.. There are other ways to control nd stablise the Economy nd naira, than banning naira ATM, restricting daily purchase nd withdrawal... This sh!t is affecting me nd millions of other Nigerians...
Everybody has the right to any type of Education he/she can avoid Everybody has the right to purchase whatever type of goods nd services he/she desire (provided it is legal) Na by force to buy laptop for naija Na by force to go sch for naija
Come to think of it, do u knw it is easier to gain admission to study ur preferred course abroad than in Nigeria, our Education system is in a mess...(U go choose medicine nd surgery for naija university, dem fit give u Agric extension)
Don't restrict people from aspiring to greater heights nd yes greener pastures..... I am not an economist, but I believe that there are other ways to improve the naira nd economy..
Good points you made brother, but these are just part of the decays of the previous successive governments, but we must all be ready to make it work now. This is one of the numerous sacrifices we have to make as a people of common goal. This policy affected me personally alot no doubt, but if this what I need to endure in order to make the economy great again, then I have no choice than to go by it.
lyterydim: Op your analysis towards the ban of naira ATM abroad is nice, but pointless.you are directly maybe indirectly advising parent to patronize our decay educational system, which is no near compare to those abroad, you also mention buying of phone from the country enlarge the economy of the aforesaid country by you,do you know statistics shows that the icp industries abroad see nigeria as a dumping ground for their inferior product? So tell me who will want to use a wash electronics or gadget? Of course their are originals out there but prevention they say is better than cure.the goverment should address our economic growth by preference starting from the importance, for me I think this banning is useless, for christ sake this is like cutting a tree from the branch instead from the root. Tnx my opinion
Don't we have equally good private universities here, if the so called Gov't owned aren't good enough? I bet you some private universities here in Nigeria are far better than those universities there in Ghana and are even more cheaper than their Ghanaian counterpart.
A good analysis no doubt, some of our so called elites wouldn't let this policy work. They are so powerful that they can snuff out the live out of whoever tries to make it work, but I trust PMB is here to truncate their antics/evil plans for this great country of ours.
