i think the mistake many parents make is they underestimate the power of mobile phones/tablets and social media, the internet etc....so they are raising their kids today, the same wat "they" were raised back in the days. which is completely wrong. today the devil doesnt even have to be physically in your house, he can be chatting with your 10yr old child via some yeye online game and/or enticing your child through facebook/tik tok etc

yes you are right, thus why i said it aint easy to raise a child PROPERLY and instill the right values in his/her heads! but again, the morals a child has is either strong, very weak or inexistant....so when your pikin goes with his/her friends and they start to try to led your child astray with yeye nonsense (aka lets smoke, lets have sex, lets be deviant stuff because its fun etc) if you'd raise your child right, he/she would not bow to these social/peer pressures and would instead say:" no thank you, i know better than to smoke, have sex and/or be deviant because THIS IS WRONG... and i was raised to understand that these moments would come when i would have to make such decisions between right and wrong acts"... on the other hand, the yeye child that was raise by friends and social/peer pressures and who bow to every nonsense thrown at them, these are the pikin that will listen to whatever their friends say and go along with their nonsense. peer/social pressure is very strong out there, and you child must be EMOTIONALLY STRONG to combat it. thats why a parent MUST work very hard to instill the right values in a child's mind so that the streets dont input viruses in your child's brain...is it easy? hell no, but nobody said that being a responsible caring parentraising a child was gonna be easy!
