Gunmen have abducted four persons including two students of the Federal University of Lafia, Nasarawa State.

It was gathered that the gunmen invaded the Mararaba Akunza, the host community of the instititution between 7-8pm on Saturday night, October 16.

An eyewitness, who spoke to Daily Trust in confidence, said the gunmen came in their large number and started shooting sporadically into the air before whisking their victims to an unknown destination.

It was learnt that the kidnappers have made contact with the family of the victims around 11.30pm last night, demanding N25 million ransom.

"The gunmen came in their large number and started shooting sporadically into the air, scaring residents of Mararaba Akunza community, before abducting four students. But nobody knows whether they are students of Federal University of Lafia.” the source said.

"It was raining heavily on Saturday night when the suspected kidnappers came in with their AK 47 riffles and carried out their operation successfully that lasted for several hours and succeeded in kidnapping some students, but no one knows whether they are students of Federal University of Lafia.”

One of the victims has been identified as Zafir Yahaya, the first son of a prominent politician in the state, Mr Yahaya Adams, popularly called Majo.

The Public Relations Officer of the institution, Mr Abubakar Ibrahim, confirmed the incident but denied that the victims were students of the Federal University of Lafia.

"None of our students was kidnapped by suspected kidnappers. The incident happened outside the university. No report from any parent regarding the abduction of their children schooling in our institution,” he stated.

Spokesperson of the State Police Command, ASP Nansel Ramhan, said the command only had about the incident on social media, but immediately drafted men to the scene of the incident to investigate how it happened.

He said no official complaint has been made yet to the command, assuring that an investigation was ongoing to unravel the rationale behind the invasion of the area.

"The command is yet to receive an official complaint from the institution." he added.

A Young Man simply identified as Alao has allegedly committed suicide in Ogidi, Ilorin West Local Government Area of Kwara State, Reports.

From The Information Gathered By , His lifeless body was found dangling from the roof of an uncompleted building on Wednesday, October 13.

A Video posted online As Sighted By , Shows residents cutting the rope tied on his neck to bring down the lifeless body.

Although the motive for his actions was not clear, sources said he had complained of going through tough times before he committed the act, Reports.

Many residents of the Ogidi community, who spoke to Online Sources, expressed shock over the incident.

According to a resident, who simply gave his name as Taiye, said, “Alao had complained of going through tough times for some time now. But we never knew it will get to this length."

“It was shocking for us when we saw his dangling body after somebody from the community drew our attention to it." he said.

He added that late Alao was not yet married and had no children.

Three teenagers identified as Sodiq Awokoya m' 18yrs, Odunayo Samson m' 18 yrs and Jimoh Rilwan m' 17yrs have been arrested by men of Ogun state police command for allegedly killing a motorcyclist Bashiru Umaru before snatching his motorcycle.

The suspects were arrested on the 8th of October at tollgate area of Ogere where they had gone to sell the deceased motorcycle.

A statement by DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi, spokesperson of the state police command, said the buyer, who demanded for the documents of the motorcycle before he can buy it, became suspicious when the three suspects were giving conflicting accounts of how they came about the motorcycle. The buyer immediately informed the police in Ogere divisional headquarters, consequent upon which the Dpo Ogere division CSP Abiodun Ayinde led his men to the scene and got the three suspects apprehended.

''On interrogation, they informed the police that the motorcycle was stolen from Iperu Remo, and they were subsequently handed over to police in Iperu division.

Coincidentally, it was the time the relations of the deceased came to lodge complaint about their missing person that the police brought the suspects from Ogere with the stolen motorcycle. On sighting the motorcycle, the relatives of the deceased quickly identified it, and informed the police that the motorcycle brought with the suspects belongs to their missing brother.

Upon the information, the policemen intensified their investigation into the case, and the suspects later confirmed that they actually snatched the motorcycle, and that the owner is being tied to a tree in a bush. In order to rescue the victim, the policemen quickly led the suspects to the bush, but surprisingly, they have hacked him to death before taking away the motorcycle.

Further investigation revealed that Samson Odunayo was the person, who called the deceased to take him to somewhere in Iperu, unknown to the okada man that he had already informed Sodiq Awokoya to wait in a bush along Ona Eri area of Iperu with cutlass and other dangerous weapons. On getting to the point, Samson Odunayo ordered the deceased to stop because he has gotten to his destination. While the deceased was waiting to collect his money, Sodiq Awokoya came out with a cutlass and hacked him down. While wriggling in pain, Samson Awokoya moved near him and squeezed his neck until he gave up the ghost. They searched his pocket and found the sum of #5,500 which they also took away.

Further investigation revealed that this is the second robbery operations carried out by the suspects. Their first victim was safe from been killed by the Intervention of Jimoh Rilwan who appealed to the other two to spare the life of the victim having robbed him of cash sum of #4,500, and that was the reason why Samson and Sodiq didn't carried him along during their second operation.'' the statement read.

Abimbola added that the motorcycle and the cutlass they used for killing the deceased have been recovered. He noted that the state commissioner of police CP Lanre Bankole has ordered the immediate transfer of the suspects to the state criminal investigation and intelligence department for discreet investigation, with the view of charging them to court as soon as investigation is concluded.

It's not my calling at all

I lost my finger nail two months ago

Early this week I lost my big toe nail
It's painful
It hurts

E pain pass heartbreak

I went for treatment and was charged 10k to pull out the remaining nail on my big toe, I Was injected on my toe twice to reduce the pains.. omooorr I cried like a baby very painful something... Look at what fixing artificial nails has caused me.

Now I'm at home today, limping... I won't go for business nor deliveries today... I'll continue tomorrow and still go back this evening for dressing.
