Operatives of the Rapid Response Squad (RRS), arrested two armed robbery suspects along Akowonjo Road, Alimosho on Monday, August 9.

According to a statement released by the spokesperson of the state police command, CSP Adekunle Ajisebutu, the suspects were named as Samuel Akabueze, 'm', (31yrs), of 34, Valentine Obasi Street, Idimu Road, and Onuoha Joshua, 'm', (37yrs), of 52, Yusuf Street, Ipaja, both in Alimosho area of Lagos State.

He said the suspects who are both from Imo State were intercepted while driving a suspected stolen Lexus SUV (LSD 666 GK), suspiciously along Akowonjo Road by the RRS operatives who trailed them to the point of arrest at Egbeda area of the State.

''They are suspected to belong to a dare devil armed robbery gang responsible for the spate of armed robbery in Gowon Estate, Festac, Lekki and other areas in the State.''he said.

Ajisebutu added that exhibits found on them include a locally-made pistol with two (2) rounds of live ammunition, four (4) ATM cards, consisting of Eco & Access banks, charms, BRT cowry card, two different keys of another different Lexus SUV and a motorcycle. He said upon interrogation, the suspects claimed to be members of the Aye Confraternity.

He added that the Commander of the Lagos State Rapid Response Squad (RRS) CSP Olayinka Egbeyemi has immediately transferred the two suspects to the Special Squad of the Command for further discreet investigation in line with the directive of the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, CP Hakeem Odumosu.

EFCC Arrests 13 Suspected Internet Fraudsters in Abuja

Operatives of the Abuja Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, have arrested 13 persons for alleged Internet fraud. The suspects are Daniel Nwafor, Yusuf Abdulwaheed, Yusuf Adekunle, Ejiga Samuel, Umar Farouk Mohammed and Emmanuel Simon.

Others include Habeeb Ikojo, Osondu Stanley, Ibrahim Oyelade, Taiwo Samuel, Churchill Onodu, Jamiu Abdulkareem and Ogbede Y. Oguchi.

They were arrested in the early hours of Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at different locations in Dawaki and Dutse areas of Abuja, following credible intelligence on their alleged fraudulent activities.

Items recovered from suspects include two cars (a Toyota Camry and Mercedes C300), 32 smart phones and 3 laptops.

The suspects will be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded.

Prophet's marriage reportedly ends after 3 months as wife leaves him for not keeping to his promise to send her to school

A Nigerian Prophet and his wife have reportedly gone their separate ways after only three months of marriage.

Prophet Divine Okoh, the General Overseer of Healing Grace Deliverance Ministry, Agbor, Delta state, and Happiness Nwakanma are said to have married after a whirlwind romance.

The couple reportedly met in May 2021 after Happiness left a comment on a controversial Facebook post.

They soon took their chat inbox and, from there, the prophet brought up talks about seeing Happiness' family.

They got married in the same month of May, despite reservations from the bride's family who were concerned about the short courtship period.

After the wedding, the bride, a student of Federal Polytechnic, Nekede, in Imo State, reportedly suggested to her husband that she wanted to go back to school to complete her HND program but he objected to this.

It is claimed that he had promised the bride's family that he will ensure she completes school, so his refusal to allow her to go back to school after their wedding troubled the bride.

The bride's story was shared on the popular Igbo Facebook group, Igbo di ?s?.

It was also claimed that the new bride has left the marriage after claiming that the prophet "hypnotized" her all along and she has been having spiritual attacks and strange dreams since she married him.

As reports of their marriage crisis hit the internet, Prophet Divine Okoh took to Facebook to warn people who "lay false allegations against men of God."

His last Facebook post reads: "My spiritual advice to many who has not experience the anger from the alter, never lay false aligations against men of God just to destroy who is untouchable. That is a sin against the holy Spirit which even God says it can't be forgiven.

"Person like me I won't forgive I will hurt that family spiritually until everything there dry up, u can insult me I will forgive but say anything that is not true against the church, everyone who is in support of it will will be drawn according to the scripture, is a covenant that the church is built on a rock that gate of hell shall not prevail whoever who touch the church the rock falls on the family, ( u can fight fakes prophets and go free but men of God who has never sold their soul to Satan will not forgive whoever that discouraged them.
