We do have some precedent for signing French strikers on the backs of their peak season – Sylvain Wiltord was signed from Bordeaux after he was top scorer in Ligue 1 for a then club record fee.
At this point it’s all speculation – the journos simply feel Arsene will likely sign another player from France to replace Ade.
