My 2007 Bank type Corolla was having a hard start and I changed fuel pump at mechanic's suggestion. Now the hard start remains though not as much as before.

Please advice.

Did you change the complete fuel pump assembly or just the pump?

When turn on your ignition all the lights come on. Snap and circle the ones that flashes when you accelerate. Post it here for assistance

There is a parasitic draw in the system. You need someone knowledgeable to track it now. Your tech should carry out a voltage drop test.

Check your serpentine belt. Its not well tensioned.

On rescanning I have code p1121

This is the drivers side. Check the passenger side.



P1121 >> You might have tampered with the tps connector while looking for the tcm relay. Confirm the connector and wiring are intack.

When you start the engine in the morning how long does it take to over heat without driving it?

1. While the engine is running, and the cooling fans on, touch the upper and lower radiator hose. The upper radiator hose should be hotter than the lower one. If there is no much noticeable difference in temperature, your cooling fans is not working efficiently or your radiator has been clogged up with dirt or a restriction inside.

I serviced the car 1week ago,after I packed it for almost a year because I traveled.

Note the car is Toyota camry 2001.

Check if the thermostat is stucked close, and also for any restriction in the coolant channel.

Wheew,finally...
I got in contact with mrford today and had my issue resolved.
So for those who know,I have been having issues with my Corolla as check engine light and trac off light illuminated on the dashboard and vibrations followed.
So I got in touch with Mrford here on NL through rationalmind and he came,almost punctual(traffic maybe) and scanned the car and it appeared cylinder 4 was misfiring.
Did his thing and it's all good now with dashboard showing no single light.
I will like to recommend him to most of the phc guys here as I can vouch for his sincerity,humility and professionalism.
It's(cartalk) getting better I guess

All the "rewires" have ganged up against me . They are looking for replacement.

No. That is your transmission range switch. Gazzuz said transmission ecu relay.
