Engine shorting oil is not a death sentence.. How much be the engine oil to be topping self as against buying the "new" engine or ringing.

My car consumes approximately 1 litre between servicing..
Let's do small maths..
Let's assume 1 liter engine oil = 3k,.. I service 4 times a year, total 12k worth extra engine oil..
Now Let's assume my engine cost 200k.. How many years will it take me to consume 200k oil?

If the oil shortage gets worse, I will step down to a cheaper oil & keep topping the oil..
No ringing or changing engine because of small oil burn..

How about the smoking part? The embarrassment alone

Any oil that drops on the floor is not minor. It drop even more when you are driving but you won't know. Have your mechanic trace where its leaking from and fix it.

On my app. It says successful delivery. That was what annoyed me to open dispute.

I opened a dispute for onevof my item that automatically says successful delivery. Item was shipped in March 11th. China registered post mail. Tracking was stucked at left country of origin. Seller is now saying
"hi friend,
have you contact your post office to check the parcel,sometimes they may forget to delivery it.
could you cancel the dispute and go to your local post office to have a check?
if you can't receive it,we can offer resend or refund.
regards."

Final solution was to push back the tip of the switch and forced in a bolt in the hole. Problem solved. Car has been sold now sha . I miss that camry

There are too many quack AC technicians all around town across Nigeria. My 2011 Toyota Corolla was working perfectly well until I had a bursted high pressure discharge hose, probably expired.

I began to experience one problem after the other with my car AC system after I took my car to one AC technician in port Harcourt.

Since I had to recharge my AC system after replacing a bursted high pressure discharge hose. I asked the AC technician to vacuum my AC system before recharging but he said there was no need. So the AC technician never vacuum my AC system before filling the system with new refrigerant and oil

The following day after this AC refilling, my AC that usually kicks in immediately to blow cold air began to delay for like 30-45 secs before blowing cold air.

As time goes on, this graduate to AC not blowing cold air until I put off and on the AC switch button.

Furthermore, as time goes on, the AC no more respond to putting off and on the AC switch button. So now until I rev up the engine by pressing the acceleration pedal in neutral or park, the AC never blows cold in idle.

I guess this technician had probably put too much oil or any other oil different from the existing oil in my AC system, causing the compressor to perform poorly. How do I know if there's an excess oil in my compressor?

Also, no doubt about having air moisture in my AC system as the poor technician never pulled a vacuum on my AC system before a recharge.

Please guys where can I find a good AC technician with a vacuum pump in port Harcourt as most of all these road side AC technicians are only there to suck out our hard earned pepper...?

Why don’t we leave reviews?

I don't play with reviews when buying a product reason i am yet to buy much from jumia and the likes. I have bought hundreds of items from amazon, ebay and aliexpress and it has been %99.9 as expected all thanks to reviews.

I think is because of a combination of care free attitude and ignorance.
I always give review and additional review after several usage (those ones are golden)

Another reason is on the part of the seller no serious reminder, Aliexpress keep reminding you to give a review. Untill you do that
