Happy birthday Sir. May the Lord continue to strengthen you. May the vision you have for this age never fade in Jesus name. May your labour in the vineyard never be in vain in Jesus name, amen. God bless your new age, in Jesus name, amen. Igba odun eni ni. |
AGurlnoname:My dear Lady. Have you observed that your comments attracted so much bashings from left and right even from the women folks. The main lesson I will want you to pick from the comments is that the society does not accept such a mindset. If you're the religious type, you'll get to know that there are things that are divinely ordained by God that you can not change. Any attempt to modify such will result into giving yourself problems. One of such is the headship of a man in a marriage institution and the woman status as that of a helpmate. Even in our culture, it is the woman that changes her surname to that of the man, you know there is a reason for that. When the woman tries to usurp the authority of the man, or tries not to be submissive, as God has pronounced it, it results into what the Yoruba adage refers to as "Adie balokun, ara o rokun, ara o ra Adie" which simply means, there is neither peace for the chicken that perched on the rope, nor peace for the rope" Meaning that peace and happiness will be far from such a home. Why use your own hand to destroy or bring chaos into your home? I believe, you will not desire such for your brother, nor for your son. We learn everyday, if you had such a mindset of women emancipation, or being an advocate for women's right irrespective of whatever they did, kindly have a rethink. I don't know your status, if you are married, and you discovered that all has not been well, try to work on it. Check if your love for you husband is genuine, and be submissive to him in all things, and you will experience peace and joy in your home. If you're not married yet, be ready to be submissive and accept the leadership of who you will be married to. God bless you. |
LesbianBoy:That means you didn't go through the thread. She said she's married, she belong to team procreation, that is, they do it only for procreation purposes. And she has stopped having children. |

People cheat because they lack self discipline, inability to say no to their sexual feelings towards another party other than their spouse. |
maoolakanm:You said it all. Nigeria is a secular state, with freedom to practice any religion of your choice. Why coming out incriminating an individual of possessing charms in his private abode, and displaying these as exhibits. If that is his own form of religion, is that a crime? How about the cats they went ahead to kill, what is their crime? Can't one have pets of his choice again? What is their excuse for removing the CCTV, if they had nothing to hide? |
So if they now locate him and got him arrested, is that an achievement? After they invaded his house killed two people, destroyed his property and even went as low as killing innocent pet cats. Fgn should be ashamed of themselves. They couldn't locate the kidnapped school children, they couldn't locate the bandits, they couldn't locate the Boko haram, but Igboho is the one they are able to glory in. They should declare a public holiday to celebrate it. But what is his offence if I may ask? Exercising his fundamental human right? Nah wah, o. |
Something must be wrong with this girl. How come she keeps different accounts of what happened? She owned up before the whole world that she was the one that stabbed him, and went ahead to explain how she did the stabbings. She gave reasons led to her action. When it was observed that the hands of the victim were tied before the attack, she came out with another narrative that she tried his hands when he was deep asleep, before she stabbed him. Now, she's denying killing him. At her age, and the level of education she has gotten, what could have been going in her mind for admitting, and justifying the killing of the man? Was she expecting commendation, does she not know the penalty of killing? If for any reason she was under duress to admit the killing by the police, we expect her to deny it, and give the true account of her involvement when she was being interviewed by the press. Why the denial now? |
But the impression we have is that, once you're able to leave Naija and get over there, all your problems are over. Here you see a man that treks 17miles every day in order to put food on the table for his family. |
dederocs:So is it right for the DSS to kill innocent people and also take pride in it that we killed two people. When you watch the video clip of the house of Igboho after the DSS operation, you'll see that one was killed right in the sitting room, not from exchange of fire but butchered. We don't expect the DSS to take the lives of innocent individuals, not even coming down so low as to killing innocent cats!!! |
Giving a dog a bad name in order to hang it. That means DSS can unilaterally accuse somebody of any charges, invade his home anytime, tell the world what they choose to say they found there, wipe out anything living there. Then come out to brazenly we killed them. It's a case of the Judge, the Jury all in one. |
I wonder if those around the President ever tell him the truth, or are merely telling him what he wants to hear. Does he think he will be there for ever? An adage in Yoruba says, "Oba to je, tilu toro, oruko re onipare, eyi to si je tilu tuka, oruko re naa ko ni pare" Posterity will speak if he did right or not. For a President of a country coming to commend invasion of an individual home at 1.34am on a lame excuse of stockpiling arms, and are proud to say they killed two innocent citizens in a democratic government. I feel so disappointed. If the energy deployed in attacking this individual can be channeled into fighting the bandits, kidnappers and boko harams that are daily slaughtering are brethren in the north, and making life unbearable, we will be better of. He's is the President of the entire nation, and he's supposed to be seen and act as the father of all, and not just act brazenly to favour a particular segment while oppressing and suppressing other segments. If he takes the advices of the likes of Col. Umar Dangiwa , I strongly believe all these troubles we are experiencing would have been minimal. |
But what is the offence of Sunday Igboho? In all the protest he led in Ekiti, Ondo, Osun & other states, was there a breakdown of law and order? How can you raid somebody house, an individual at an ungodly hour of 1.34am with a battalion of army and claim you found assorted weapons in his house? How do they justify this? They claimed they gunned down two of his securities, and none of them had a scratch with their claim of a gun duel which lasted for over an hour. Common, this does not add up. We're no fools. It is rather unfair. We are in a democratic setting, but being ruled like we're in a military era. Even in some sane military eras, you don't just oppress people barefaced like this. |
But why should anybody in his right senses take such a risk? What was he trying to achieve? |

The situation we are in is so pathetic. Does it mean our Security forces lack ideas on how to rein in the murderers? Or, is this how we are going to continue to live, and just waiting to hear news of the next person that is hacked down? |
She and her children should cover their faces in shame. What kind of embarrassment is this? Is she saying that she couldn't afford to raise that money for that long? If everybody in her set then had owed the school and refused to pay, would the school have survived? Come to think of it, what we expect her to do is to find out the equivalence of it, if it was school fees for a term then, she should pay what the current school fees is now, and pay with interest and apologies. |
But what do they derive from such an illicit business? When they are caught and there pictures are displayed, they look so poor and haggard. Why can't they just engage in some other legitimate means of livelihood. The efforts they put in in all these nefarious activities, if geared into genuine businesses will yield them better profit and peace of mind. |
So pathetic for the General Overseer, Pastor Adeboye to loose his son at this stage of his life. We have the consolation that he died in the Lord. May his soul rest in peace. |
Pls, does anybody know about La Buena Vida? Is it legit? |
Have you ever taken time to ask yourself what you stand to achieve if you should you go ahead and commit suicide? Is it to punish her, or to please yourself? Does she hold the key to your happiness, or existence. My brother, your children will live to hate your memory as one weakling of a father. What about your extended family & friends? Wipe away all suicidal thoughts from your mind and face your challenges head on. That's what makes a man. Do you also know that it will be a stigma on your children that you so much love? |
I couldn't help crying!!! In her excruciating pains, she was still concerned of her father's health.. After all the pains she went through, the stress and resources expended on her, death would still not have sympathy. It is well. RIP, Chisom. |
Kudos to the Ijora youths who stood by their king. Ori Ade a gbe yin o. History will not forget your act of loyalty. This is a lesson for all in positions of authority, don't be a tyrant, be good to people around you, you can never tell when you will need them. |
We expect Apostle Suleiman "a so called man of God" to be a peace maker. What's the purpose of his tweet, to incite the public against the government or what? |
