bushwailo: Point of Correction !you are absolutely right my brother |
Lol. Anybody still take Nigerian awards seriously? Even if Glo like let them win a nobel prize. Am not using! Sorry! I know better. |
How was the bolded swept under the carpet. Nobody raised dust on that issue. Peter obi has many questions to answer when he leaves office including his sabmiller scam factory he is using state funds to build. What has been doing with the state's money? Nothing is on ground for 6/7 years now |
Secretary General of Conference of Nigeria Political Parties (CNPP) Chief Willy Ezeugwu is a stalwart of All Nigeria Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA). He was the 2003 Senatorial candidate of the party in Enugu North. In this chat, he shared his thoughts on happenings in APGA and the nation generally. APGA crises What is happening between APGA and the Peter Obi led-state government is a travesty. The governor has refused to allow elections into the local governments since coming into office such that he is able to hand pick his cronies and act as the deity of that state. That is totally against what APGA stands for. The party strongly believes in empowering people at the grassroots and that is the local government. So, for Obi to have operated that way is totally unacceptable. I have had cause to criticise other state governors, who use similar tactics to stifle democratic growth. So, this makes us fear that Obi, having secured his second term, is now working for the People Democratic Party (PDP) by trying to portray APGA’s government as one that can flout rules. My relationship with Obi and his prudence Prudent? (laughs) Prudent with state funds you said? So where did his boys get the N300 million they were caught with in Lagos? As for my relationship with him, there is not much to say about that. It was APGA that sent me to represent it on CNPP, there is no other APGA official who is acting as an ambassador at such national level, but Obi has never recognized this fact for one day. That is why you see the quality of his actions because he never confers with people from his own party. Look at it, has he groomed any successor now that he is ending his second tenure. The only thing he has committed his energy to is to fight the party’s chairman, Chief Victor Umeh. This is the same chairman who has been able to ensure that APGA now controls a second state. Look at the way the former Lagos Governor, Bola Tinubu is propagating the ACN in the south-west, Obi had such opportunity but he frittered it away because of pettiness. Orji Uzor Kalu did the same for PPA as he was leaving office and Obi has made no effort to ensure that APGA grows . He is now fighting the party chairman who is working tirelessly to grow the party, but the leading lights in APGA assure Obi that we will surprise him if he persists on the path he presently treads. http://sunnewsonline.com/webpages/politics/2012/may/10/politics-10-05-2012-002.html |
Choose you this day whom ye shall serve, Tunubu or Obasanjo says the bishop. And I disagree with the bishop entirely on everything he said about awolowo ![]() |
Bishop of Lagos-West Anglican Diocese, Rev. Peter Adebiyi, has lamented that 25 years after the death of the sage, Chief Obafemi Awolowo, the Yoruba nation is yet to agree on a true leader. Adebiyi, who also solicited support for former President Olusegun Obasanjo and the National Leader of the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) to lead the Yoruba, said the duo had the capacity. Adebiyi made the declaration yesterday during the 25th Remebrance and Patronal Anniversary of the late sage, held at Our Saviour’s Anglican Church, Ikenne-Remo, Ogun State. While lamenting the leadership vacuum in the region, Adebiyi said that the Yoruba nation had failed to be unanimous over who should lead them in the last 25 years, adding that political bitterness had overshadowed the welfare of the people. The cleric noted that the Yoruba nation is still weak and lacks co-operation that could make it strong as the late sage left it then, while adding that other regions had been benefitting from the disunity among the Yoruba. His words: “Politicians have ceased to see the good of the people and are now concerned with the politics of the stomach. The Yoruba nation is one big family. If a house is divided against itself, that house can never stand. Who shall we call upon to re-unite the Yoruba family? We have had 25years of wastage, back-biting, acrimony, bitterness and self-deceit. Even our natural (traditional) rulers have taken sides. “There is nothing wrong for Yoruba political leaders to belong to different political parties. Why do we want to destabilize the Yoruba nation? Who shall we call upon to lead the Yoruba nation? Chief Olusegun Obasanjo is a formidable leader of the Yoruba. Asiwaju Bola Ahmend Tinubu can also lead the Yoruba nation. You may not agree with me,” he added. While calling for unity among Yoruba leaders, he urged them to emulate Awolowo, “We need one another to make Yoruba a true nation. We must prepare for any eventuality that could happen in this country. Although I do not wish that Nigeria will disintegrate, if this happens and the Yoruba are still in disarray, then we are done for.” While eulogizing the late sage, Bishop Adebiyi recalled how he benefitted from the free education programme initiated by Awo. He said, “were it not for the free education programme of Awolowo then, I would not have been an educated person by now.” http://sunnewsonline.com/webpages/features/newsonthehour/2012/may/10/newsbreak-10-05-2012-001.html |
So how many Americans are in the Uk and tally it with the Nigerian population there. The writer is clearly on Crack. I'd have expected Nigerians in the Uk shop more than Uk citizens in the uk Rubbish ![]() |
Lets pop shampaign tunubu and my ACN folks. Its time to win ondo by crook or means ![]() |
Nigeria will be better running on auto pilot than having this dumbo as president. You mean after recieving a damning letter for transparency international and the oil subsidy probe, there are no plans to sack the utterly corrupt ALLISON MADUEKE ? Where is SNG? Where is house of reps? Why cant the process of impeachment begin? This man has taken Nigeria back to 1960. |
My problem is that I dont like when you guys are always associating Kanye with dbanj. Kanye has never made any committance with dbanj whatsoever. Dbanj is his own man. Enough of this kanye this kanye that. Mohits paid to sign a distribution deal with kanye which has failed and it involved both don jazzy. You guys run with everything, you ran with illuminati, now anywhere there is dbanj in nigeria there must be kanye. Kanye really messed up to bring this rubbish on his name. Btw, the songs ve heard so far from the solar abi nepa plexus are trash! trash. Kill yourself if you think those songs are good. |
jbaur24: ^^ Classic and Final response!!!!!! Even a genuis cant answer that question. Can we end this sub topic now and move to the main topic until that question is answered. |
Nigeria must choose! Either Presidency in 2015 or Biafra!! Btw jonathan contesting in 2015 will be a great insult on Nigeria. He must willfully retire or be forced out....... Through the votes ![]() |
#soludo2014 every other person should chill!!!!!! |
bestview: Abagworo or whatever you call yourself will you disappear from this thread with your leprous comments. While not devote more attention to your talkative governor roachas who has kept you imo eddiots down with his 419 governance.lol... Atleast Rochas's 419 governance is a billion times better than peter obi's stup¡d, ediotic, thiefry and clownish governance! ![]() I will take '419 governance with performance' any day |
Did I just see Dora Akunyili as a contestant in this thread lol. That woman is finished politically. I dont think she can even win a local govt election again. Betrayer and self centered extraodinnaire! Where is she again self? |
deshclones: Dont mind the nri guy..adaobi's incompetence is amazing even to his supposed fans.......dude is a disaster that has already happened..he has neglected awka and all the capital territory...the town is a glorifies local govt headquaters..nothing goes on there..rds are littered with refuse while adaobi stays in osha...its really appalling..dude let down everybody including himself..he is monitoring the progress of HIS scam brewery sabmiller in onitsha which he is using state funds to build and wants to complete before he leaves office. How is it that sabmiller produces GRAND MALT which is owned by peter obi? That man is a thief. Awka very pathetic. Neglected |
Demdem: Bro, i honestly dont think so for now. Below is a post of mine i posted yesterday:you may have a point but I think the reasons most airports fail is because they are not needed in some states they were built. For instance what the heck will an international airport (as proposed by clueless jonathan) do in Bayelsa ? (less than 400,000 population and PH a stone throw away). What of Akwa Ibom and Cross River having airports? And so on. Onitsha is an economic hub, same with Nnewi so an easy airport access will boost business and also help in GENERATING DIRECT REVENUE for the state. Anambra NEEDS an airport(even cargo airport) to standardize business (largest market in W.Africa without an airport, hows that?). |
belovedaja: orji kalu also have all the money before he became abia governor in 1999. He was even richer than abia state but what happen after 8 years in office. Stop deceiving the ignorant anambra people.you cannot compare the money orji kalu had before being governor to the money Andy Uba is controlling now. That guy was obasanjo's hidden petroleum minister for 8 years. How much will he steal? What I think he needs are the benefits and name. Besides Abia has never had good governance even after kalu so it may be chronic. Obi took over from a high point and dragged it to the lowest point ever |
obinon: .if i may ask,are you peter obi?if there are infrastructures won't we see them?do they hide.Enough of these praises.pay no mind to peter incompetent obi agents, they are all over nairaland. He just said we will not see any good thing obi has done until he leaves office after 8 years. Does that not tell you that he is a mad man? |
Demdem: What airport is this man talking about again? Is this neccessary at least for now?absolutely necessary bro. |
CNN, BBC Super Sports and MTVBase. Nobody takes the financially starved, politically funded and ethinically/financially/politically biased local stations seriously. Channels however lacks good coverage |
Can GEJ have the balls to sack the legendary corrupt diezanni madueke? That will really earn him some cool point from Nigerians but I doubt if the lilly livered jonathan will also sacking azazi for saying the obvious will spell doom for this country |
@op are you not a yeruba guy? You are automatically an ACN member. Just go and worship tunubu your theif leader at his palace when next you are in naija. A special membership card in london may not be neccessary |
MODs delete this trash thread right now!!!!!!!!!!! |
deshclones: you are so on point...peter obi is and will remain the worst governor after that dim wit mbadinuju...its a pity Anambrarians vote based on sentiments and religious affiliations esp d roman catholics..like i always argue with my uncle..The ubas are really eager to redeem their already bruised and over dented reputation in anambra nay ala-igbo...andy uba has all the money he needs dude is on a salvage mission..too bad we mis-interpreted him, guess the inactions of his heavily demon possesed brother is still fresh in our memory..but i think he should take a bow and leave the stage for the nnukwu mmanwu charles soludo..thank God APGA is in disarray now..so soludo is definitely the man to beat...i rest my case till 2014Well said brov |
Awo is a pathetic tribalist and coward. Very corny. And somebody above me said yerubas are progressives? TunubuCN is progressive. Thats news to me. People living in utmost deciet |
soludo too is from aguata |
I knew Anambra state would have been a million times better than it is today if this man was allowed to become governor. How much is he going to steal? He has all the money he could need and he commissioned an airport project just 1 week into office, unfortunately the sadist peter obi canceled it for nothing. However Andy should leave 2014 for soludo. he should focus on the senate (likewise ngige) and leave the governorship or soludo. soludo is the blueprint for the state. They should not allow the bickering that cost them the seat in 2010 to repeat itself in 2014. They should settle for soludo. and soludo must ensure he sends peter obi to jail or argentina (like sylva) whn he becomes governor. that man is a cruel thief. |
The Senator representing Anambra South Senatorial District, Dr. Andy Uba at the weekend confirmed the rumour that he was interested in the 2014 governorship race in Anambra State, urging his people of Old Aguata Union (OAU) to brace up for the contest. Uba who paid a thank-you visit to the three local governments that made up OAU, Aguata, Orumba North and Orumba South, assured his people that in one year, the state would wear a new look, that the people would regret not having him as Governor over the years. He said, “I am just here to thank you all for coming out to vote for me again. You voted for me the first time, our opponents went to court and after everything they asked us to go back for a re-run. My opponents because they own government, went about sharing rice, wrapper, money and even organized a victory party before the election because they were assured by their cohorts of victory. “My opponents plotted all their ways of ensuring that we did not win, they did every thing but they forgot to do one thing and that is they forgot to put God in their plan but for us God is the ultimate. He is the one that gives power and he has given us. “What I want to tell you people today is that this is just the beginning, we are heading somewhere and I know if it is the wish of God we will get there and if we get there, just give us one year and you will see that Anambra will be different. I will bring in here people who will bring their wealth and invest here for our youths to get job. That airport will be built and many more things.” He urged the people of OAU to unit and fight a common goal, stressing that all he wanted was to develop his state and his area as God has already blessed him. http://sunnewsonline.com/webpages/features/newsonthehour/2012/may/07/newsbreak-07-05-2012-001.html |
But uduagham completed and commissioned an airport and teaching hospital. What will you say of Peter obi then (the worst governor in Africa) and Theordore orji. Its moved from stalemate to backwardness in those states under their leadership |
