reflx: Well I have read all the news in the papers and other media and its shocking !!!and while I condemn the act..the news was blown out of proportion ...I work in the police clinic port harcourt and I treated james ameh and all he had were serious bruises, chest pain and a bite to his hand...no spinal cord injury or paralysis...he is still on admission because of the awareness of the incident ...meanwhile the six other guys are already in police net and set for trial next week after investigations...please the press should be truthful...I read with disbelief all I saw in the dailies...he had his bath and ate by himself...he is ok and those guys are set to be punished...fullstop!we dont believe you. You need more people. |
Pennywise: Very well deserved appointment. The next big challenge is the accent thingy. We yorubas dont let go easily.haha... Like saying 'Hask instead of ask' |
*screaming* what the hell is this rubbish doing in the front page? What are we to say about a post that has not been confirmed yet? How the hell is this my business. A boko haram terrorist was just arrested! Congrats in advance tho ![]() |
cogitoErgo: @Globe, I can not understand you! The man is Yorube, fine! Then what? Should we now go about arresting all Yoruba people we see on the road now or should we just start shooting at any Yoruba man on the street because of this? What are you suggesting?that is the problem. Some people are cornily trying to do away with the yeruba heritage of the man. We must ALL accept the obvious which is, the man is from ogbomosho so we can move on from there. There has been this stereotyping hausas with terrorism. Maybe we should beam our searchlights somewhere else and see how to stop terrorism in Nigeria from the roots. You remember the case of muttalab. If some people are easily gullible to terrorism then thats a new problem we must fight. The security agencies know better |
My problem is lets not derail from the fact that an ogbomosho bred yeruba terrorist was just arrested in kano. This is not d first time they are linked with such activities. one aregbeshola comes to mind for. The community can denounce him oh but when an adult tells me he is from ogbomosho and its verified by the SSS. He is from ogbomosho. Take your propaganda somewhere. And then the source of this denouncement is Nations Newspaper owned by yeruba leader Tinubu. |
billante: I don't think he is a total failure! But not being visionary yes! When a state is in chaos dats when you say someone is a total failure..salaries are being paid road are constructed and rehabilitated old schools are rehabilitated! But model ones like amechi's own is not being done dats why I said he is not visionary. He is just an average leader! 50% pass markHe is not the reason why the state is not in chaos. Its d people. Afterall a certain mbadinuju did not pay salaries and the state was still peaceful. I wonder if he didnt pay salaries, what would he be doing with all the state money because mbadinuju developed STANDARD estates in his time. Do you realize the capital is an eyesore? At a time when most state capitals are construction sites? No planning, dirty, tiny single lane roads, mediocity and all. If he is saying he is working with the little money he has (which in itself is a big lie) what has he ever done to improve the state economy? I hope when his lameduck tenure is over he will relinquish ALL anambra state money he is storing in his Fidelity bank in the name of saving their money (while he is cashing fat interests). I rate him 10% just because of salaries. |
billante: In being prudent he will be rated high...in being visionary he will be rated low! He worked with what was available....but won't be said to have embezzled money!! Someone that is leaving office dat is not grooming any successor to me shows he has nothing to hide or has stolen money blindly...he may have used his office to do business! But I don't think they will find anambra money missing when he leaves office.very funny. Like we have forgotten the N300million raw cash his boys were caught with in lagos. He cant groom a succesor because anybody he touches will fail from inception. Everybody is distancing themselves from him (ask akunyili). Peter obi is a total failure of leadership. Waste of 8 years |
^ Hmm... I can bet you that if obi is governor for 30 years he would never think towards this your suggestion. Like the CNPP man said in the other thread, he is too petty. Imagine how the state economy will boom if this is achieved. Is that too much to ask for? Rather he is busy sharing 100K checks to hospitals and building his sabmiller scam brewery. The man is too petty. Its a waste of 8 yrs |
babsjnr: go and suck ya mum most wealthy black people in uk are yoruba. Dis ugly ibo bit*c only earn £50 k per annualwhere is the statistic/report/proof that show that the yerubas are the most wealthy black people in the uk or is it just the usual false alarm? Like dbanj said he has the Number 1 record in the UK charts and like Tinubu got a first class in toronto? #Justsaying ![]() |
Igbo people keep repping Nigeria in the diaspora while Bluetooth's people are always in the news for ingesting world cocaine record, child molestation, gay assylum and robbery. You would imagine if we are from the same country. Ha! ![]() |
Immediately I saw Senator Dora Akunyili, I knew this is a prophecy of doom. Op must be very high on d white substance. Senator indeed. |
Oya omatseye go collect your salary from your oga, Tinubu. oops I just learnt I landed into the fools paradise on nairaland. Let me get out of here. |
No bro the husband of the woman have not been able to raise the 50million that was demanded by the kidnappers. As for the doctors to resume work,no body is too sure about that since the region has gone to the dogs.Banks in Ogun state still on a partial strike as well over the fear of arm robbers.lol that state must be a ghost state by now with all this sad development.
...... and the governor is calling their bluff, telling them to go on strike afterall his brother in Lagos state just sacked 1000 doctors. |
How can a song that has not been released yet in the uk make it straight to Number 1? Unless you are Eminem or MJ. Many Nigerians are mad. Anyway.... False alarms and false starts... |
Caporegime: dudes be fair and truthfull to urselves, donjazy is a great produce no doubt, but it takes a dbanj to make those beats count afterall dbanj aint the only1 he produces but dbanj is unique thats why their match was awesome. if a donjazy beats ends up with style-plus, it would most likely be just an ordinary beat, not that those dudes cant sing but its not just the right combo, or are ya'll saying jazzy is better than all the producers in Mecury? im no fan of either but lets get real...you are dbanj's fan. Stop throwing rocks and hiding your hand |
titus3: Okay, i just checked all the UK charts i know, and Dbanj no even dey the top 20 sef... Disgusting waste of my internet timewhy didnt you check Nairaland's UK top 20 Charts. Dbanj is number 1 there. I just confirmed now. Lmao at Easily decieved Nigerian people |
WTF is shazermers chart? Anyone heard about them before today? MTV UK chart does not have D'banj's shadow on it. I tire for this their boju boju charts o. Oliver twist dey on point but this hype pass my comprehension levels o
lmao.. Nigerian stup¡dity cannot stop amazing me. Is this the uk billboard chart? Wtf is shazermers chart. Let the hyping continue. Nice try |
deenee: Just for the record, mohits signed a 'distribution deal' filled with a lot of 'caveats' with kanye for his music label to help launch dbanj into the US market and kanye has not made any financial commitment to dbanj at all.Tell them my bro. Nigerians are the greatest wishful thinkers on earth. Thats why the politicians continue to rip us off because the ordinary Nigerian will be saying Nigeria is the richest nation on earth with the condition it is today. Am tired of hearing kanye signed dbanj to good music. How can the entire population fall to a marketing ploy? Dbanj is not even listed on Good Music website as its artist |
akigbemaru: Every Obasanjo's policy towards Yoruba race from his military to civilian regimes shows that he is our number one enemy of progress. That makes the rumors of him a vagabond and a carpet-grabber from East born by a Ibo foot soldier become true. Evident, from his civilian rule that I know off, I may not have been born during his military days, he put everything from advisers to heads of government agencies as Ibo people e.g. CBN-Soludo (that's a smart banker no doubt), Stock Exchange- Yeye Okereke, NAFDAC- Madam rebrand Biafra e.t.c.Blah, blah, blah. Talking poo. Obasanjo is not igbo. He has no igbo blood in his body!! He is 101% yeruba. We denounce him. He called competent hands from igboland to help him because thats the best he could get in the country. Dont disown him. He is a typical yerubaman. Keep overrating awolowo the tribalist who is among those that made Nigeria the poo that it is today. When the history books of Nigeria is written i will see if awolowo or whatever his name is can match obj |
Its because Nigerians don't appreciate Good music. The musicians they claim to have are not talented at any level and yet they rep them with their life so music in Nigeria works with trends not talent. Its a fad. Musicians trend and go. An exception is Tuface. He is talented that is why he has remained evergreen. Why do people classify Davido, Whizkid and the rest as musicians? where in the hell does not that happen? Are they talented for singing or rapping? |
nchewi: Typically, the Ibos are industrious and adventurous, the Hausas are straight-forward and simple and the Yorubas are progressive and respectful. All of them are proud of their tribe and heritage. Imagine combining this qualities together!! Nigeria would have been where it ought to be! Plzzz don't curse the memory we have of our pioneer leaders!! Stop d blame-game!! Am 4rm d south-south.. But for this Boko wahala, my choice location is somewhere up north!!!lmao at the bolded. Can I have a little of what you are smoking. |
BlackBaron: Wonder what positive legacy did Tupac and Biggie pass on considering...Guy, do you listen to their music or do yo9ub just skim through it? Go listen to real tupac and biggie music and i bet something will change in your thinking. They are not known for that for nothing |
NYSC should be scrapped completely. It has overstayed its welcome. The federal govt should by now begin to distance itself from sponsoring all these petty schemes like NYSC and Pilgrimage. It is waste of govt funds. Integration my foot! How can you waste an adults full one year when his mates are always working and planning their lives elsewhere? What has NYSC achieved so far? |
You are coming to nairaland to ask for what is needed to open a travel agency?? you are a scammer. Thats how you people swindle nigerians of their hard earned money. |
Boyoorisha: I just heard a news from one of the local radio station the the minister of petroleum, Allison Madukwe has been removedfor where? She is insisting her boyfriend is keeps her and you know how weak her boyfriend is |
Because he wasn't original - but a plagiarist. A lot of whats been attributed to him was borrowed from either the Bible or Ancient African texts. The people listed had an original message . . . Muhammed didn't.
lmaoo. An apt and bitter truth they dont want to hear. Next they come protesting with bombs. |
OP, show some respect, Remove the one and only Jesus Christ and this thread will be taken seriously. He was not a musician too and he is still alive! (tho not thru the likes of pastor chris). Amen |
chosen04: . . . . . But why did we even vote for person with the name OBI? when we all know that OBI will forever remain a boy.I recall nobody voted him in. He voted himself in through a compromised voters register. Refer to the election report |
imagine having to chose between obasanjo and tiefnubu much like chosing between a black mamba cobra and a rattle snake
Lol..... I dont know who they will choose to lead them. Ironically those crooks are the best materials they can depend on. Imagine a bishop telling his people to choose between tunubu and obasanjo. This people go kill me oh |
