olodoowoh: i don't know all, I try as much as possible to avoid ghanaian threads because of the way you people react to issues. The economy of both countries shouldn't be a point in this argument, the economy of nigeria is far ahead of that of ghana based on definition. Chasing potential investors out all because of jealousy or envy will only ret.ard your economy.
how many ghanaians rush to nigeria for job opportunites? Your economy is good but ur population is huge and it cant cover all nigerians.

londoner: They should come home, or go into another form of business. If any Nigerian has paid the bond, that they were made to pay. The GH government should refund it.

If they don't want Nigerian traders, then Nigerians should not trade there. Nigeria needs to find a way to stem the flow of Nigerians going there to study.
yeah, we will refund nigerians money back to them. If u want your country to stop the flow of nigerians coming to school in ghana then they need to make sure cultism, student violence stops in nigerian schools, uphold discipline, let the rod spare no ones child, if they misbehave in school, they must be dealt with.

Nobleval: @mrham03 nonsense! You guys did that simply because you hate Nigerians. Now tell me...if the whites starts coming in their numbers into Ghana to set up business will you also eject them? This a case of hatred! Remember the EU/ECOWAS trade liberalisation agreement pact which you guys were pushing for? You people were ready to make your nation a dump site for European manufacturers..but are not ready to accomodate Nigeria in your market. Thank God Nigeria didn't sanction it. This a case of xenophobia.
hahaha xeno- whaaaat? U dont say lol, who told whites will go and sit in the market and trade? We have a law in ghana and it forbids foreign traders from trading in our markets, we have to enforce it to protect our citizen against foreign invation. Be it nigerians, or chinese or togelese. Ghanaians will always come first in GHANA.

Lol but am not going to give that title up easily, i have the spiritual backing of all my great ghanaian warriors so am movitated and highly energized to take back my crown. About nhlahla, i hope he makes s.a proud, if he can win africa's heart then he will surely win it. I know omo naija go carry last this year too. Lmao!

PoliticsRe: Nigerian Traders Evicted Fom Ghanah by mrham03(m): 9:54am On Sep 26, 2014
olodoowoh: Seriously, why should their numbers be regulated? give me on genuine reason
OUR markets were constructed purposely for ghanaian citizens, u know our population is way way way lower than that of nigeria's ryt? So when nigerian traders come to do business in ghana and they become successful, their fellow nigerians also gets interested and also come join him to also do their business here but unfortunately our market cant accommodate all the nigerians and ghanaians so it becomes a competition for a place to do business and since the nigerians come prepared ( with money and persuasion) they get it. so as the numbers of nigerians doing business over here doubles, alot of ghanaians lose out. Thats why that should happen. (The regulation)

olodoowoh: i admire the way you protect your country but do you think creating animosity is the way forward?
personally, i dont think the nigerian traders should be sent out of the markets but their numbers should be regulated. i think the problem should discussed properly btn the ghanaian traders, nigerian traders in ghana, ghana government and nigerian government. Maybe something will be worked out.
SportsRe: Diego Costa Vs Angel Dimaria.who Plays Better by mrham03(m): 9:27am On Sep 26, 2014
why should u compare a striker and a winger? Anyway i will take di maria because he can score, give assist, has pace and can play soo many positions including the center forward position, wings, midfield. Its di maria for me.

mars123: Like my people say "1st to do,e nor dey pain"...Are Ghanaians trying to say they can't compete with fellow Africans in their own country?
the fact that we accomodated alot of nigerians in our markets didnt mean u guys should keep coming in numbers until our own GHANAIANS got choked in OUR OWN COUNTRY. every country protects their own first. So GHANAIANS FIRST, OTHERS SECOND. Stop complaining already.

Wale112: Two foreigners have been arrested for allegedly carrying a trunk full of fake $100 notes in the boot of a car at Achimota Mile Seven in Accra.

The suspects, Adekonle Morufden, 52, a Nigerian, and Mohammed Basim, 35, a Tunisian, are said to have packed the $100 bills in bundles of $10,000 in a silver-plated trunk hidden in the boot of the car.

They are said to have attempted bribing the police personnel who arrested them including the National SWAT Commander, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCOP) Bismark Achaab, with $30,000.

Police bribed

The Director General of the Criminal Investigations Department (CID), Commissioner of Police (COP) Prosper K. Agblor, said they were arrested at about 3p.m. on September 23, 2014.

He said personnel of the SWAT Unit from the police headquarters, led by the National Special Weapons And Tactics (SWAT) Commander, embarked on a special operation based on intelligence gathered.

“While at Mile 7, the team intercepted a Toyota Camry, with registration number GR 5225-13, with two occupants,” he said.

Though the occupants denied carrying any unlawful items on their car, the police found a silver-plated trunk in the boot, and when it was opened, it was found to be filled with $100 notes.

The suspicious police personnel queried the men about the money and their answers confirmed the suspicion of the police.

When the police informed the men they were under arrest, “they gave the police $30,000 and pleaded with the police to let them go. The police took the money but arrested them and brought them to the police headquarters”.

Money is fake

Mr Agblor said when the money was examined, it was found to be fake.

One of the suspects told the police that he could not tell the total amount of dollars in the trunk but indicated that they were to trade it for GH¢300 million.

The case has since been handed over to the CID for further investigation and action.

Mr Agblor commended the police personnel for the operation and resisting the temptation of accepting the bribe.

He hinted that the police administration would reward the team later and urged other police officers to emulate the example.

Some people are really driven. Sometimes I watch shows like Fear Factor & just shake my head in disbelief at the things people are willing to do for money. Wow.
yeah, i really get scared for people who go for the fear factor show. They really risk their lives there. did u watch big brother mzansi?

LaBellaMafiaZA: No, no beef with Zim, we just value different things. Most of them when they come here, they feel like they have something to prove. Hence you'll often hear them talking about going to KFC, McDonald etc. They have food issues imo. Shrugs.

lol @ the obsession with Dillish. I still can't believe it. She's pretty alright, but nothing to obsess about. Now it's as if they aren't used to seeing pretty wimminz tongue

Beverly is not that good looking without makeup, so in a way I get why they voted for a prettier girl.

I'm watching the re-runs, big brother's voice is getting on nerves. He has an annoying voice.
lol, i really like biggy's voice, i hope to hear more this season. and i wish to see 2 beautiful s.a ladies this season and i hope u contest next season.

Nigerians voted Elikem over Melvin sef, so what does that imply? If ever Bev came up, you think Dillish would see naija's votes?
Some Nigerians voted for Cleo during the finals sef, we have a lot of 'unbiased' people here who like to share votes smiley

LabellamaffiaZA, please ignore whatever this fellow tells you about Nigeria, dunno why he's forming mouthpiece.
hahahaha miss law student, am just speaking the truth, i know nigeria voted for selly and elikem but u also neglected beverly and chose dillish. Isnt that true?
