Osun Case

Imported Coronavirus from Cote d ivoire:
-Total number of people isolated =127
-Total number of tested so far=47
-Tested positive so far= 12

It is bad, but could have been worse! Thanks to collaborative efforts of Ogun and Osun State governments.

Those returnees are truly indigenes of Osun living in Cote de Voire. They apparently decided to come home back en-mass because of the rampaging virus.

They were intercepted by the security operatives in Ogun state. Having conclusively identified themselves to be Osun indigenes, the Ogun gov spoke to Osun gov and they both made water-tight arrangements to escort them Osun.

Osun, while waiting for them, had prepared a high school for thier isolation.

None of them was showing any symptoms when they arrived. Nonetheless, the government decided to screen them all because they are considered high risk due to thier departing country.

So far, 12 have been positive out of 47 samples analysed. I would be surprised if more positive results were announced in the coming days.

Those positive ones have been separated and are under surveillance in one hospital. They are yet to show any symptoms of coronavirus.

Imagine these numbers coming into Osun unnoticed, this could have been a disaster!

As a spiritual leader- giving the way is making his money I don't think we need the news about him giving out things after all we never got to hear how much each of his followers is giving out as tithes (each time they did).. they never announced that to the world, that means they are doing it for God. Right. He should also lead them in that. I think courtesy demands that.. my opinion though

The only good thing about the Virus is that anyone infected be it rich, poor, citizen or POLITICIAN is got to make do with our hospitals here.

May God just safe us from these people oo. They steal our money go abroad and still bring come back diseases to common man who may never garner up to what will take him abroad in life.. May he and others like him have quick recovery anyway....
