Joenice: You sound so hostile. I don't know if you have something against me or the man. But honestly, there are quite a number of ways to quantify success. What I am saying is that we need honest people to bring Nigeria out of doldrums. Nigeria is still in the darkness and it's quite unfortunate. Yeah am hostile. So what of it? |

Joenice: He's, not me. Please check out his profile. That man is awesome. He's seen it all. This is the kind of man Nigeria needs to turn around the economy. He studied with Timothy Geithner at Harvard. Nigeria is really missing talents. So because I studied with general Colin Powell at West Point that automatically makes me a great military general? I don't get your point. 3 Likes |

This lady is perfect! Unfortunately for her, Nigerian guys still have the big girl mentality. They think fat, obese, or grossly overweight women are more attractive than women who keep themselves in shape. DAMN! You guys dont have eyes at all. 13 Likes |

Being a good economic analysis is a skill, a talent that is difficult to teach in a classroom. Just because you graduated from Havard wont make you a good analysis. 1 Like |

If someone here can give me some chord progressions for Nigerian songs I would really appreciate it. If not chords, notes, and the progression. I play rock and blues music but trying to get familiar with Nigerian. I beg you, someone here must know some Nigerian music on the guitar. |

emmy120: Hold on key F....from neck of the guitar.....ur 1st finger will hold string one and two...ur 2nd finger hold string three...ur 3rd finger hold the string four.....that is doh chord on key F Yeah but this is not the proper F though (F major). You wouldn't be able to play F-minor or F7th playing like that. Another F chord is put your first finger on the first fret on the B string, second finger on the second fret of the G string, then 3rd finger on the third fret of the D string. and only strum the D,G,and B string. Thats also an F chord. |

TonySpike: Thanks to the mod that brought this thread to the front page. The lost 'hacked' thread had lots of information, recordings, lessons and skills for guitarists. I hope this thread will live up to the expectations of the previous thread. I listened to the happy birthday song. You should work in your chord progression man. It sounds ok but at the same time very basic. What chords were you playing? It sounded like you were only playing D and maybe G? |
Music/Radio / Re: A thread for acoustic guitarist: beginners,amateurs and professionals by MrKnowitall: 4:36pm On Jul 21, 2014 |
Do this when you get time. Hold the Dmajor chord down. Then use your thumb to play the D string. Then you first finger to play G string. Then second finger plays the B string. Then third finger plays E string. Repeat. Hold down the Dmajor chord the entire time. Play this using one count to start. Then go faster once you get it. You can go from D major to d minor to d7th as chord progression to start. 1 Like |

stanisbaratheon: There are no such thing as chords for lead guitar. Even g7th b7th e7th d7th and a7th chords can be used as lead. It all depends in your strum pattern and notes you play in between. |
