wayforward: But you type as if you have little knowledge about this, how can you advise someone blindly by advising them to go UK and struggle even without concrete foundation and no assurance of visa after graduation.
I fail to see the blind advice you are referring too, this was my advice to him
Though staying in the UK without papers is not ideal, however, you have to weigh your options. If you can go to school in the UK go ahead and do it and deal with the rest later.
^^^^^^
I told him staying in the U.k without papers is not ideal, am i wrong? Then I told him to at least go to school there then

deal with the rest later. Where is the blind advice? But why do you think that if he stays in Nigeria he will automatically succeed?
TravelRe: Is It Advisable To Settle In The United Kingdom After Studies by MrKnowitall: 4:17pm On Dec 30, 2013
wayforward: my advice is the OP should invest his £20.000 tuition + living exp on business rather than going broke again after 1 year in UK and visa eventually expired smiley
I understand, but why do you think your advice will yield an automatic success for him?

wayforward: you are chatting bullocks by mentioning God, will that your God come down to rescue you in UK, i guess you know very little about this issue so my candid advise is for you to keep quiet
Am confused; how did you get anywhere in my post that i expect God to come down and rescue me in the U.K?

I know enough about this issue to know more than you my friend.
TravelRe: Is It Advisable To Settle In The United Kingdom After Studies by MrKnowitall: 4:00pm On Dec 30, 2013
ezehr: This post has really been educative and informative. I'm in a similar situation like the OP. From the comments so far, i'm turning my radar away from UK schools to focus on Canada, USA and Australia.
Dont give up on going to U.K just because of people on Nairaland. Some of them probably went there to do 419.

You have nothing to loose.
TravelRe: Is It Advisable To Settle In The United Kingdom After Studies by MrKnowitall: 3:34pm On Dec 30, 2013
Ugosample: Thank you very much for your responses, i guess the United Kingdom is a no go area them. I am currently shopping for schools in North America and to be sincere, settling in Nigeria is not part of my plans, what i want to achieve cannot be done here. Sad but true, that said, thank you all once again. The route to Canada is less complex as i have seen, due to the skills gap, and i will consider that option too. God bless.

Dont let people talk you out of doing what you think is right for you. You just have to try
TravelRe: USA Or England: Which Is The More Racist Country? by MrKnowitall: 3:30pm On Dec 30, 2013
It depends on the lactation you go. It's safe to say that you are more likely to face racism in Nigerian than in U.S.
There's nothing to weigh, do not ever stay in the UK illegally. It is not worth the mental, physical, emotional or monetary stress.
Like i said, staying in the U.K illegally is not ideal, but he can try to figure something out while he attends school.

He should at least take the chance because many people have done it and succeeded.

A choice between U.K and Nigeria is no choice at all.
TravelRe: Is It Advisable To Settle In The United Kingdom After Studies by MrKnowitall: 3:03pm On Dec 30, 2013
cosmatoz: Well my candid advice, i came to the UK for my masters 2012 september, well JUSTWISE should remember me cos i asked lots of question smiley. I was told getting a job is next to impossible by my mates over here, but that did not stop me from applying. I have a job now with good pay in an international firm. So my opinion would be if it is what you want then do it with God all things are possible. The guys that said its impossible they never got the job. And o am a blackman
This is why I tell people to take the risk because it will most likely payoff. You have people here always telling everyone stay

in Nigeria, that there are no jobs in the U.k, U.S, and Nigerians are suffering there and blah blah blah. I believe those people

have peasant mentality. They are the same people that believe that God will come down and take the risk for them

and give them the rewards, peasants.

I dont understand what you mean. are you implying that making a comment on a thread is craving for attention?

Then why do you always quote my post to bring attention to yourself? relax my peasant friend. cheers
and in Muslim countries they naturally will be killed.

Hypocrisy
Lol relax my friend calm your nerves. I said civilized country, a lot of predominantly Muslim countries are still living in the dark ages. I was in Iraq and Afghanistan I know what am talking about. See in civilized countries, people can voice their opinions and that's fine. But if they cross the line, they get crushed by the police. I can assure you that Russia is in more danger of a sharia takeover than the U.S, U.K, Sweden etc... the average African does not understand the concept democracy and freedom.
PoliticsRe: Boss Putin Says No To Sharia And Multiculturalism by MrKnowitall: 5:12am On Dec 30, 2013
^^^^

People are allowed to voice the opinions in a civilized country. Muslims with posters running around does not mean anything.
TravelRe: Vacation In The United State by MrKnowitall:
Don't waste your time they won't let you in you already missed your conference for which they gave you the visa. They will just tell you that you was granted a visa for a conference and you missed the conference so what what are you doing here. To the U.S customs agent it will look like you lied about the conference to get a visa big no no my friend. Even with my U.S passport they alway interview me and make sure all the dates and visa on my passport match every time I come back from Africa . They asked me questions like why did I travel, why did I stay there for so long, what did I do there etc... Dude You will be detained, fingerprinted, and shipped back to Nigeria in a long depressing flight . Apply for a proper vacation visa

callmenow: The thing is that Nigeria is working under Jonathan. So we need to give him the credit. Imagine Yar Adua and his excellent being president. God forbid ... No more Nonsense. Jonathan is shocking. He is game changer. All Hail Jonathan.
All hail Jonathan ? Why do you love him so much?

austinsmat: even with that car if anything want to happen it will ,seek God first My brother
I understand what you mean my friend but I don't think God is in the business of guaranteeing people's safety. As you can see even pastors use bodyguard to protect themselves while they preach. Am not saying you should not seek God, am simply saying that practical safety plans are much better. You should make safety plans and plan for your safety plans to fail hence a back up plan. Keep yourself safe my friend.

austinsmat: to updating very soon .......
time 5:28 after we prayed and cover our car with blood of Jesus our journey started. from sabongari
My friend there is a reason why Nigerian politicians are covering their own cars with bulletproof armor and not the blood of Jesus. Practical safety plans are much better than the blood of Jesus. Unless you literally have the blood of Jesus, do you?

justwise: Staying back legally?....good idea, illegally? Don't think about it.
Why shouldn't he think about it? Are you his Oga or something ? Relax

Though staying in the UK without papers is not ideal, however, you have to weigh your options. If you can go to school in the UK go ahead and do it and deal with the rest later.
TravelRe: Official: Lagos? The Number 1 City For Relocation. See Jealousy .Thanks Goodluck by MrKnowitall:
Fellas fellas relax. First, Lagos is clearly not the only city in Africa attracting foreigners, if you look again you will see Acra and kampala on the list. Second, President Jonathan had nothing to do with the success of lagos, it was Fasholas strategic planning and vision that brought Lagos this far. How do I know this? Well, ask yourself; how are the other states in the country doing. If all the states are collectively doing well, then you can give the credit to Jonathan. If not, then obviously Fashola is the man. I personally dont care for PDP or APC or whatever they call themselves, but am a firm believer in give credit where credit is due. Sorry to crash the party. Cheers my friends, mother fvckng cheers.
TravelRe: I Need To Travel Out Of Here. by MrKnowitall: 12:55am On Dec 28, 2013
Almost any country is better than Nigeria at this point. What is your financial situation? And maybe you should try ghana or south africa to start. Talk to me my friend, am here to help.
PoliticsRe: What Nigeria Becoming Giant Of Africa Really Means by MrKnowitall:
South Africa's economy is much more efficient and reliable than Nigeria's. Nigeria's GDP should be at least four times what

it is now if not for vertical and horizontal corruption that runs deep in the system. I dont see why the Nigerian government

cant fight corruption and fix the electricity problem at the same time.

TravelRe: Picture Of A Nairalander And Mum In Malaysia For Xmas And New Year Celebration by MrKnowitall: 5:23am On Dec 26, 2013
Honestly I think its a little bizarre that you would ask people to rate you and your mom but nevertheless, it's great you got to spend your Christmas with your mom. Its even better that you and her spent it somewhere other than Nigeria.
TravelRe: Africa In 2013: 10 Things We've Learnt by MrKnowitall: 5:15am On Dec 26, 2013
I have to be honest with you: the only thing we learned about Africa in 2013 is that most Africans living in Africa have primitive mentality. And that africa is still a good 100years away from entering the 21st century. I know I said the only thing but I lied, there are just too many to list. I love Africa but most people there are pathetic. Cheers my friend.
TravelRe: Ways Of Getting Out Of Nigeria by MrKnowitall: 5:01am On Dec 26, 2013

cheruv: They're Gods children yet they go against Gods laws!!!!imagine your hypocrisy.if homo was allowed to fester don't you know it would lead to the extinction of the human race?? The beauty of nature is the variety it offers..male and female.God made them different so that they'd complement each other like a hand and glove or have you seen two male lions phucking?? undecided by engaging in acts that debase humanity they've lost their rights as humans and hitlers treatment of the Jews is child's play compared to what shouldve been done to them!! angry
All you people go against God's laws on a daily basis. Obviously God did not spend that much time on you with

that horrible face of yours. You look like a fvcking Mumbai street cleaner. In fact, I dont know what in the world

gave you the courage to put your picture as your profile picture my friend. Dude the real crime here is your

face not the gays. Your face looks like garbage dude. Anyways, you dont need to understand something

to know that everyone single person has rights period

I dont understand the whole gay thing, but I do know that every single human being has rights.
Cheers my friend.

osystein: oh cry us a river.
Cry you a river? I dont have to cry you people anything. You live in Africa deal with the shiit. I dont cry for barbarians my friend.
CrimeRe: Gay Man Burned Alive In Uganda Days After Anti-gay Bill Was Passed Into Law. by MrKnowitall:
The problem with law like this is that if I own someone money, all i have to do is tell the police the person is gay

and i caught him sleeping with a guy and that person is fvcked. This law can easily be used against people you dont like.

But am not really surprised though, most Africans in Africa are generally barbaric by nature. It is a natural tendency for

most Africans living in Africa to be barbaric I believe. But what makes the situation really depressing is that some

Africans refuse to be educated and enlightened so that they can be a creature fit for the 21st century.

There are ritual killings on a daily basis, jungle justice and molestation of people suspected of stealing

pepper or whatnot, and killings of people suspected of being gay. These are some of the reasons why a

totally useless country like Uganda that has contributed absolutely nothing to human advancement

passed laws to supposedly safeguard against western culture. It was the western culture that brought them

their religion, the clothe they wear, the electricity the enjoy, the tv, radio, microwave, etc... If i wasn't

for western culture, they would still be running around naked hunting animals in the desert. Most Africans

living in Africa are generally pathetic human beings. This type of behavior should have been left in the 19th century.
