From the comments so far, i'm turning my radar away from UK schools to focus on Canada, USA and Australia.Dont give up on going to U.K just because of people on Nairaland. Ugosample: Thank you very much for your responses, i guess the United Kingdom is a no go area them. I am currently shopping for schools in North America and to be sincere, settling in Nigeria is not part of my plans, what i want to achieve cannot be done here. Sad but true, that said, thank you all once again. The route to Canada is less complex as i have seen, due to the skills gap, and i will consider that option too. God bless. You have people here always telling everyone stay in Nigeria, that there are no jobs in the U.k, U.S, and Nigerians are suffering there and blah blah blah. Don't waste your time they won't let you in you already missed your conference for which they gave you the visa. They will just tell you that you was granted a visa for a conference and you missed the conference so what what are you doing here. To the U.S customs agent it will look like you lied about the conference to get a visa big no no my friend. Even with my U.S passport they alway interview me and make sure all the dates and visa on my passport match every time I come back from Africa . They asked me questions like why did I travel, why did I stay there for so long, what did I do there etc... Dude You will be detained, fingerprinted, and shipped back to Nigeria in a long depressing flight . Apply for a proper vacation visa |

As you can see even pastors use bodyguard to protect themselves while they preach. Am not saying you should not seek God, am simply saying that practical safety plans are much better. You should make safety plans and plan for your safety plans to fail hence a back up plan. Keep yourself safe my friend.

Fellas fellas relax. First, Lagos is clearly not the only city in Africa attracting foreigners, if you look again you will see Acra and kampala on the list. Second, President Jonathan had nothing to do with the success of lagos, it was Fasholas strategic planning and vision that brought Lagos this far. How do I know this? Well, ask yourself; how are the other states in the country doing. If all the states are collectively doing well, then you can give the credit to Jonathan. If not, then obviously Fashola is the man. I personally dont care for PDP or APC or whatever they call themselves, but am a firm believer in give credit where credit is due. Sorry to crash the party. Cheers my friends,mother fvckng cheers. |

South Africa's economy is much more efficient and reliable than Nigeria's. Nigeria's GDP should be at least four times what it is now if not for vertical and horizontal corruption that runs deep in the system. I dont see why the Nigerian government cant fight corruption and fix the electricity problem at the same time. |

I have to be honest with you: the only thing we learned about Africa in 2013 is that most Africans living in Africa have primitive mentality. And that africa is still a good 100years away from entering the 21st century. I know I said the only thing but I lied, there are just too many to list. [b]The problem with law like this is that if I own someone money, all i have to do is tell the police the person is gay and i caught him sleeping with a guy and that person is fvcked. This law can easily be used against people you dont like. But am not really surprised though, most Africans in Africa are generally barbaric by nature. It is a natural tendency for most Africans living in Africa to be barbaric I believe. But what makes the situation really depressing is that some Africans refuse to be educated and enlightened so that they can be a creature fit for the 21st century. There are ritual killings on a daily basis, jungle justice and molestation of people suspected of stealing pepper or whatnot, and killings of people suspected of being gay. These are some of the reasons why a totally useless country like Uganda that has contributed absolutely nothing to human advancement passed laws to supposedly safeguard against western culture. It was the western culture that brought them their religion, the clothe they wear, the electricity the enjoy, the tv, radio, microwave, etc... If i wasn't for western culture, they would still be running around naked hunting animals in the desert. Most Africans living in Africa are generally pathetic human beings.
