HISTORY was made yesterday in Igbodo Kingdom of Ika North East Local Government Area of Delta State, when a day old baby boy was crowned to become the crown prince of the kingdom, ostensibly to forestall any succession controversy in future. He was crowned some few hours after his birth within the hospital environment. To address the succession issue once and for all warranted the Igbodo ruling house to move straight to the hospital, where the child was born and crowned him there without further protocols. The child, named Ugochukwu was crowned by the leader of a delegation from the Igbodo palace at St. Luke’s Hospital Asaba, where he boy was delivered. Vanguard gathered that the boy was delivered on Wednesday night and the following morning (yesterday ) he was crowned. Chief Eugene Iyeke of the ruling house of Igbodo led the delegation to Asaba with members of the Obi-in-council and notable indigenes. It will be recalled that that the Obi of Igbodo, Obi Ikechukwu Osedume I, succumbed to the wishes of his people by formally marrying an indigene of the community in accordance to the native law and custom early in October last year. And it was the wife, called Onyinyechukwu, a native of Igbodo that bore the boy that was crowned yesterday morning. Governor Sule Lamido of Jigawa on Friday appointed former President Olusegun Obasanjo as the pioneer Chancellor of the newly established Jigawa State University in Kafin Hausa. The State Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Prof. Haruna Wakili, disclosed this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria in Dutse. Wakili said the State Government had sent a delegation to present the appointment letter to the former President at his country home in Abeokuta. He explained that the appointment was based on Section 8 of the Jigawa State University Law, 2013. Wakil said that Section 2 of the Second Schedule of the law also supported the appointment. The two sections, he said, vested on the Visitor of the University the powers to appoint Chancellor for the institution. He added that extensive consultation was made before reaching the decision to appoint Obasanjo as the pioneer chancellor of the university. “The government arrived at the decision after due consideration of his immense contributions to the making of modern Nigeria; as former military head of state and two terms democratically elected President. “Obasanjo is an internationally recognised and respected elder statesman and indeed an eminent personality of proven integrity who served his country to the peak, diligently, selflessly and sincerely,” he said. The commissioner stated that he was part of the delegation that presented the letter to the former president. “I am therefore glad to inform you that the former President had accepted the appointment and assured the governor and people of Jigawa of his readiness to serve. “He also promised to do all that was possible to take the university to a greater height. RECENTLY, in effort to eliminate Ebola at the source, through use of innovative disinfection technology, two “germ-killing robots” were deployed from the US to the JFK Hospital and ELWA Hospital both in Monrovia, Republic of Liberia, both hotspots of the Ebola disease outbreak. The robots, technically known as TRU-D SmartUVC, were used to disinfect health care environments where Ebola patients are being treated. Good Health Weekly gathered that TRU-D is the only portable UV disinfection device on the market with Sensor360 technology, which calculates the time needed to react to room variables such as size, geometry, surface reflectivity and the amount and location of equipment in the room and effectively deliver a lethal dose of UV-C light during a single cycle from a single, central location in the room. Ultraviolet light “It works by generating ultraviolet light energy that modifies the DNA structure of viral pathogens, like Ebola, so that they cannot reproduce. Viruses that cannot reproduce cannot colonise and harm patients,” the inventor, a tropical disease expert and medical anthropologist Dr. Jeffery L. Deal noted in an interview. Deal and his colleague, Chuck Dunn, President and CEO of TRU-D LLC, respectively, spoke about the importance of TRU-D to environmental disinfection in “TRU-D has been validated by more than 10 studies to be 99.99 percent effective in eliminating the most common pathogens that can use health care- associated infections. After deploying germ-killing robots to Liberia to aid in battle against the Ebola Virus Disease, TRU-D SmartUVC inventor traveled to the Ebola hotspots with UV disinfection devices TRU-D guarantees a pathogen-free environment for patients and health care staff. Deal, a Fellow in the Royal Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene, has been training hospital staff to operate the devices in a number of hospital environments and monitor progress for successful disinfection. “We developed TRU-D SmartUVC technology to combat the devastating effects ofhospital acquired infections,” Deal said. “Unlike many diseases, Ebola strikes hospital workers more than any other group, making it the ultimate hospital acquired infection.” With TRU-D, health care leaders in the U.S., Canada, the U.K. and Saudi Arabia are eliminating pathogens like Ebola, Middle East Respiratory Syndrome, MERS, influenza, norovirus, Clostridium difficile, Methicillin- resistant Staphylococcus aureus, MRSA, etc., in all types of health care settings, including isolation wards, patient rooms, operating rooms, surgical suites, intensive care units, emergency rooms, public areas and ambulances. “We know through extensive CDC-funded research specific to TRU-D conducted by thought leaders in epidemiology and infection prevention that TRU-D is effective at eliminating anypathogen by delivering a precisely measured UVC dose. “As soon as we knew we could aid struggling hospitals in Liberia, our team came together and formulated a plan to get TRU-D on the ground. More than 200 TRU- Ds have been deployed to disinfect hospitals across the U.S. and internationally. Significance Between 10 and 15 percent of Ebola cases have been among health care workers. While most of this stems from contact with the patient, concerns exist that the physical environment can retain active microbes and be a risk. This device is used in the US to eliminate the organisms that may still reside on the walls, knobs, rails or any other exposed surface in health care settings. The robotic technology is capable of making the Liberian hospitals safer for the staff and for new patients. Development It was developed by a team of engineers, physicians and industrial hygienists with the purpose of decontaminating entire rooms automatically and eliminating concerns that a contaminated surface was missed during routine cleaning. We use an ultra-efficient narrow wavelength called UVC to flood the room with germicidal energy. UVC dosage is accurately measured and automatically adapts to kill organisms, even in shadowed areas. UV disinfection technology and EVD control This technology is designed to prevent the spread of the disease transmitted via contaminated surfaces in health care environments and is not a treatment or a cure. We believe that prevention is the best medicine. The U.S. Army tested this particular wavelength against Ebola and found that the measured dose TRU-D delivers results in incredibly rapid destruction of the virus with its pathogen-specific dosing options.. We know it is perfect for use in this critical setting. Merits/demerits Multiple studies have already been published from U.S. and UK academic facilities of TRU-D’s ability to decontaminate rooms, almost always testing it against organisms that are much more difficult to kill in the environment than Ebola is.

Governor Rotimi Amaechi of Rivers State, on Tuesday, said the present war against insurgency will not stop unless the Federal Government was ready to tackle it head-on, saying the Federal Government institutions have stolen all the money meant for human and infrastructural development in the country. This is as the governor denied any rift with President Goodluck Jonathan, saying: “We are not quarrelling, we just have disagreement on how to govern the country. I have huge respect for him. He is the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces and he should be the only person to tell us how to bring Chibok girls back.” Amaechi, who indicted the Presidency of inciting Muslims and Christians against one another in an attempt to win election by all means come 2015, stated this when he featured on a Kaduna-based Liberty Radio weekly programme, ‘Guest of the week’. According to him, until the Federal Government is ready to first, tackle the underline factors, which include corruption, education and poverty, ending the insurgency would continued to be a mirage. According to him, ‘if the Federal Government could support military through intelligence gathering, which has helped in combating militancy in Rivers State and other states in the region, it would be a good beginning to end the menace. He added that there was the need for the government to work with everybody, especially the locals in order to know who and where the insurgents live, reiterating that it was the failure of the government in the first place. Using the Niger-Delta militancy as a case study, he said, “It took me just two months to deal with militancy in Port Harcourt and if a state could achieve that within that space of time, how much more the Federal Government that has everything it needed at its disposal. “The earlier the Federal Government stops inciting Muslims against Christians in order to win election, the better for Nigeria. “Killing militants was not the solution to the militancy. So we began with infrastructure and give them economic livelihood because when they know that when they go out, they earn some money, they will not have time to perpetrate evil of this magnitude. Africa's most populous country is scrambling to avoid the fate of nearby nations that have failed to prevent the spread of the deadly Ebola virus. An epidemic could devastate Nigeria's economy and overrun its meager health facilities. That's why the country has taken drastic measures to contain the spread of Ebola since Liberian- American Patrick Sawyer brought the virus to Lagos on a flight from Liberia on July 20. The government has set up isolation centers for potential carriers, established checkpoints at border crossings and kept a close eye on anyone who might have come into contact with infected people. President Goodluck Jonathan declared a national emergency last week and called on the public to avoid large gatherings. Lagos Health Commissioner Jide Idris recommends that Nigerian families keep anyone suspected of carrying the virus in one room. He even suggested roping off rooms and boarding up windows, so other family members and neighbors aren't exposed. "Our patients are being camped and fenced in with planks to stop exposing others to a virus that is difficult to deal with," he said this week. "We'll not lose the war against Ebola. The government will continue to take every step to check the spread of Ebola in the country." The Nigerian health system has scored at least one victory, Idris noted. A Lagos doctor who contracted Ebola from Sawyer recovered recently from a short bout with the disease. "He has made a dramatic recovery and has been discharged from the isolation center," Idris said. The commissioner said the country's creaky health system would be hard-pressed to tackle a widespread outbreak if the virus continues to spread throughout the region at current rates. The World Health Organization said Tuesday that 84 people in West Africa died from Ebola in three days last week, Thursday through Saturday. Total infections rose to 2,240 cases, including 1,229 deaths. Liberia confronts the worst outbreak, in which there have been 466 deaths. In Guinea, 394 have died; Sierra Leone has had 365 deaths. In Nigeria, despite the government's precautions, 15 cases have been reported, and four people have died, including Sawyer. The WHO said the situation in Lagos "looks reassuring" because all those infected were tied to health care workers or had direct contact with Sawyer. Apparently he did not pass the virus to passengers on his flight from Monrovia while he was sick because the 21-day incubation period has lapsed, the WHO said. Idris said his country's health system can handle the cases, but it's not clear what could happen if an epidemic broke out. Even though a doctors' strike ended last week after a month-long walkout, many physicians have not returned to work. The shortage of medical personnel is especially problematic, because many Nigerians are liable to accept religious leaders' teachings on how to treat the disease. Last week, at least two people died and 20 others were hospitalized in central Nigeria after they consumed excessive quantities of salt and bitter kola — a seed used as folk medicine — to ward off the disease. "We will not wait for the government to give us wrong medicine and die of the virus," said Halima Abubakar, who sells vegetables in Lagos. "We'll try everything, even bathing with salt and traditional herbs, to protect (from) the Ebola virus." Nigerian Minister of Information Labaran Maku has worked hard to counter the conspiracy theories and superstitions. "There is no cure yet for the Ebola disease," he said. "People should ignore those in the social media who say that bathing with hot water and salt cures the Ebola disease." Some Lagos churches under the auspices of Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria have assembled "prayer warriors" — devout people who pray for others — to halt the virus. "People should not get worried about the Ebola virus, as it's just a name given to a disease like many others," evangelist Emma Obiorah said. "We'll pray together as a nation to ensure God heals all." Economist Bismarck Rewane, chief executive officer of Financial Derivatives, an investment firm in Lagos, said people need to take action, as well as pray. His company estimates that fears about Ebola could force investors to hold off spending as much as $3.5 billion in Nigeria by December unless the government demonstrates its ability to curtail the virus. "The sectors of the economy that will be mostly affected by the fear of the Ebola virus are aviation, tourism and hospitality, trade, medical and agriculture," he said. Nigeria has been given the all clear to host AFCON qualifying matches which begin next month after the Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) instructed Guinea, Sierra Leone, and Liberia to find neutral grounds for their matches. Africa’s football governing body, in a statement, added that there is no ban on travel to and from the Ebola virus-affected countries, hence all planned qualification matches would go ahead. The body said it affirmed the position following advice from the World Health Organisation; which provided guidance on attitudes the continental soccer governing body would observe in the management of CAF competitions scheduled to take place in countries affected by the epidemic, namely Guinea, Liberia, Sierra Leone, and Nigeria. In the circular, the Secretary General of CAF, Hicham El Amrani, called on member associations to relay accurate information about the mode of transmission of Ebola, its symptoms, and precautions persons needed to take against the disease. CAF also advised member associations to undertake Ebola screening protocols at departure and arrival points and directed Liberia, Guinea and Sierra Leone to organize their Africa Cup of Nations qualifying matches on neutral territory based on recommendations by the WHO. There have been huge concerns raised by some countries that are set to face the affected countries in the AFCON qualifying phase. This has led to Rwanda being replaced with Congo after it showed signs of abandoning its match with the Super Eagles. Just last week, Lesotho, who was supposed to tackle Nigeria’s flying Eagles in an AYC qualification match in Kaduna, failed to turn up for the match. |
A-19-year-old apprentice welder (names withheld) was caught today making love to a hen. The fowl reportedly died during the act. The taboo was said to have been committed by the apprentice at about 11.20 p.m. at Continental area of Akure metropolis. The suspect, Vanguard learnt, had committed same taboo with a goat in his home town, Afo in Ose council area of the state. He was said to have been ex-communicated from his home town because of the offence which made him to move in with his brother in Akure. Speaking with newsmen, the owner of fowl, Mrs Stella Akintola, who resides in the same building confirmed that the man actually made love to her chicken. According to her, she went to bed early but was woken up by the noise coming from the chickens at the back of her room, an indication that someone was disturbing their peace. The discovery Akintola said she went outside only to find that the back door was still opened. According to her, she became curious and “I shouted to know who was still at the backyard only for him to appear from the corner of the house, saying he went to the toilet because he had a running stomach.” Akintola said she was not convinced especially as she noticed that the noise from the chickens’ pen stopped abruptly. She said she went to where the chickens were but nothing was found. “It was when I visited the toilet that I found one of the them stone dead with its feathers littering the floor,” she said. Still unaware that the suspect was the cause of the death of the bird, Akintola said she raised an alarm only for him to confess that he was responsible for the death of the fowl. Akintola said the suspect confessed and begged her for forgiveness, saying he would pay any amount for the dead fowl. She said she decided not to report the matter to the police because she could not stand the rigour she would be subjected to by the police over a “minor offence.” Report had it that there were evidence that the man actually had sex with the hen when it was examined by the owner and others living in the building. A spirit directed me to do it —Suspect In an interview with newsmen, the suspect, who declined to speak initially, however, said a spirit directed him to do what he did. He said: “I was already sleeping when a spirit just came upon me and directed me to go to the back of the building. I did not know what I was doing again until when I discovered that I had slept with the hen.” Contacted, the police image maker, Wole Ogodo, said since the matter was not reported to the police, he could not comment on it. Ogodo noted that “it is what members of the public bring to our notice that we investigate. This is a strange occurrence if what you are telling me is the truth.” |

The presence of the young man who was disabled, threw the airport into confusion as people scampered for safety following the incident. A source who confirmed this to our correspondent on the condition of anonymity said the man was arrested for allegedly planning to bomb the Centrex unit of the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency along the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos. The source said the suspect was arrested by the security operatives as he attempted to detonate the explosive device he wore round his body, adding that the suspect’s movement attracted the attention of security operatives who immediately picked him up. He said, “Our security men were curious of his presence at the place and they queried him, but the explanation he gave was not convincing. So, they kept an eye on him. A few seconds later, they discovered that he was struggling and protecting an object tied around his neck. “The airport police command was promptly alerted and he was immediately handed over to the police. I can confirm to you that he was immediately taken to the Beesam Police Station within the airport. Why he chose NAMA and airport is still unknown to some of us here.” As at press time, the suspect was still being held at the Beesam Police Station within the airport, undergoing interrogation. When contacted, the Commissioner of Police, Airport Command, Mr. Waheed Salahu, declined to comment, saying that it would be too premature to talk with the media at the moment. But a source close to the command confirmed the story to our correspondent. Source:dailyindependentnig.com/2014/08/police-arrests-suicide-bomber-allegedly-planning-bomb-lagos-airport/ |
The makers of the drug and the Managing Director, Natural Solutions Foundation, United States, Dr. Rima Laibow, in a Webcast on youtube, has refuted claims that the drug is not safe for the management of the Ebola Virus Disease. This is contrary to the position of the Federal Government and the verdict of the National Health Research Ethics Committee which stated that it could not approve the use of the experimental drugs for the management of the disease last week. According to the Minister of Health, Prof. Onyebuchi Chukwu, the drug was rejected by the committee because it had failed to meet the safety and ethical requirements. Laibow , noted that the controversial drug has been deployed by her team of scientists in the management of Ebola patients in some African countries before now. She said, “Ebola is surging through various parts of Africa, and it is just a plane ride from the rest of the world. As of now, It is said that there is no cure or treatment against Ebola, and that is not true. “ In fact there is a well known, well characterised nutrient against the disease and that is Nano silver. It is non toxic, it does not require refrigeration. It is inexpensive, self sterilising and it can be given to every member of the community from the tiniest baby to the pregnant mother and the most fragile elderly person that is infected. “Nano Silver leaves the beneficial bacteria and the healthy cells of the patient unaffected but it does kill every pathogen against which it has been tested worldwide without exception. There is no other effective solution against Ebola apart from this.” On why Nano Silver has not been approved globally for the management of the disease, Laibow noted that the drug had to go through different stages of trial before it could have been brought forward. She stated that her team of experts are ready to assist any country interested in using the experimental drug for the management of Ebola and other communicable diseases. Laibow added, “ There are different scientific reasons why we could not just go public with it, but it has been brought forward now. It is available in large quantities and it is unlimited in its effectiveness. The Natural Solutions Limited and I, stand ready to assist the people of the world in deploying safe, non toxic inexpensive and available solution against Ebola and every other communicable disease which threatens us on this planet.” Silver has been used as an antimicrobial agent for thousands of years. Silverware according to researchers were used for food preservation in the past, had been proven to have anti-microbial activities that can reduce food and drink-borne diseases. http://www.punchng.com/news/nano-silver-can-cure-ebola-experts/ |

I am so happy about this because it will go a long way in uniting the two biggest movie industries in the world, Nollywood and Bollywood,” he said. Martins has done up to sixty-five movies in his entire illustrious career. Born on October 26th as the sixth of seven children into the family of Mr. and Mrs Paul Uchechukwu Amaihe of Ihebinowere-Okwudor, Njaba Local Government Area of Imo State, Nigeria, Martins has always had the passion for the arts, and believed it is the only profession that could bring out his true personality. No woman has been able to capture my heart. So, I can say I am still searching for a wife material. I seek three major things in a woman. First, a woman that has the fear of God in her, a hard-working woman and a woman that’s is full of respect. All the women I have seen ,want me because I am an actor but I am yet to see the one who possesses the qualities I want,” he revealed

Anita Joseph is a talented Nollywood actress known mostly for her controversial nature. The actress has over the years grown a thick skin to criticisms and wants people to know that she's in the movie industry to be an actress in the true sense of the word. She has the ability excel in any role she is assigned and she has been a good source of entertainment for many fans. In this encounter with Showtime celebrity Anita opens up on her music and movie career viv-a-vis other issues: What have you been up to? Work work work... Movies and music but I'm still recording How many movies have you done so far? The one that just came out is Akpabio, the Calabar Boy. Then, there's Hips Don't Lie, Festival of Village Girls, Wannabe Girls, Who runs the Village, Twins Blood, and lots of others. I can't really count. What is your style of music? I do Hip-hop, I do slow songs, blues, I do every kind of music Which songs have you released this year? I've done Long Time and Go Gaga Have you featured any artiste in your songs? In 'Nyem Something' I featured Flavour. The video came out two years ago You and Afrocandy were recently seen together, are you guys doing a movie? Yes, we are. We've not done the job yet. She just did an audition and I was invited over to help in the casting. We did an audition at Excellence Hotel so I went there to help her cast and I'm part of the movie too Is it a porn movie? God forbid. It's an African movie. Afrocandy does other movies too. The one she's going to do soon is an epic movie like a village kind of movie. Then the other one is another kind of movie, we call it Glamour. Glamour is the one you have many rich people but the epic is the village one. It's not a porn movie, don't mind what people are saying. I assure you it is not porn. Anita cannot do porn. You know why I can't do porn? Because the money will finish but the movie won't go. It's not something I would like to do. Everybody in life has what he or she wants to do. I don't care what anybody does. Some people say you're friends with Afrocandy and all that, So What? Do you believe Nigerians are hypocritical about sex? Oh yes they are, some of them do worse things behind closed doors. So don't judge me. I do what I want to do but I can't do porn. Anita is crazy, Anita is this, Anita is that, but I can't do porn. There are some kinds of things I can't do. If I'm doing business with Afrocandy, it's movie business not porn and it's my business. Nobody has the right to tell me I shouldn't do it because she's this, she's that. That's their business. Can you do sex in a movie? No, I can't Not even kissing? That's a normal thing. There's a way we do kissing in the movie industry, we don't really do the real kissing but there's a way we do it. It's acting. There was a movie I saw you, where Nkem Owoh was touching your boobs, what movie was that? That movie was The Gamblers. In the script, they said he was supposed to touch my breasts; we have to make it real so I gave him my breast to touch and that thing blew people's minds. That was the whole idea, he touched it for real. Have you done any other stuff like that? I do lots of stuffs like that. It doesn't matter; it's the kind of job I do, so it depends. It depends on what the script says, sometimes you just have to pretend to be there. Its pretense, Acting is all about pretense. Which actor do you have chemistry working with? I have chemistry working with everybody but there are some people you work better with, lots of them. If I start mentioning the names, you won't leave here What do you consider the sexiest part of your body? Everywhere is sexy because everybody has what trips him or her. Some like the boobs, some like the back, some like my legs, I've seen somebody that loves my palm. My fingers are very sexy You say you love tattoos, how many tattoos do you have? I used to love tattoos. But I don't do tattoos anymore and I'm trying to remove them. I'm not a tattoo freak anymore; I've grown out of that. In fact the tattoos on my body are mistakes. I advise people not to do tattoos. Tattoos are addictive. If you do one you want to do another, at the end of the day you'll start regretting them. I don't love my tattoos anymore. I wish I can clean them out. Where is the most hidden place you've done a tattoo? No hidden place, the most hidden one is the one on my waist and on my boobs What do you find attractive in a man? I love men that are simple. I don't like men that are too loud, I love it simple When did you get into music? I started music professionally four years back but I've not released an album yet. I've not really been serious with my music because the movies took over but I've released two videos, Time No Dey and Nyem something Are you currently in a relationship? I'm single and not searching Have you ever done a movie outside Nigeria? Yes, I have, in South Africa. I did the movie last year but it's not out yet How do you handle your male admirers? They're not easy to handle but I handle them well enough. In this kind of job, you have to be strong and bold because if you're not, they'll just mess you up. So, I handle them perfectly. I try not to be insulting in as much as some of them are very unbearable. Those that are unbearable, you just try and be subtle and manage them with a good smile. What of your critics? I love my critics because if they don't criticise me, I won't get better Do you take to their advice? I do listen but some of them don't make sense. Some of them are beef, maybe it's somebody that doesn't like you, you didn't do anything to the person but the person doesn't just like you. They did it to Jesus Christ. He didn't do anything to them but some people hated him, so it happens. Sometimes when you read some things you know that it's just beef. You might not know the person but the person is beefing you. I don't care about what they say. What I care about is I take from the ones that are good, I try to amend what is not right but the ones that I know that I'm doing right, I don't bother What is the craziest thing a fan has ever done when he saw you? Hitting my bum. Someone has seen me in Shoprite before, hit my bum and ran away. There was nothing I could do. There was a movie I did Open and Close. I was a nymphomaniac in that movie, I had sex with everybody around me because it was the story. The guy said that thing you did in Open and Close, can you just do it to me? He started whining in Shoprite, mimicking everything I did in the movie, the way I was doing. I just turned to leave and the next thing he did was to tap my ass. I wanted to pursue him but I wore heels so I couldn't pursue him. If it were before, I would have chased him all the way. Another day someone called me and started moaning 'Anita you're killing me, Anita whine for me', I said hello, he said 'Oh please, it's me please you don't understand'. It was one of my pictures he saw. He uses my pictures to work on himself and he told me. Mostly he uses private numbers to call me so I wouldn't be able to call back. That 's why I sometimes don't pick private numbers. What is the craziest thing you have done to a fan ? There was this crazy guy that got my number from somewhere. This guy sends me message everyday of my life, everyday. Telling me how he loves me and how he wants to marry me, till date. At a point I had to call him and invited him over. I mean this guy has been sending me messages for more than two years straight, everyday. My sisters, everybody in my house knows about it. One day I decided to invite him over but when I came out to receive him, he was nowhere to be found. He later called that he could not face me. What is the worst scandal of your life? There was a time I was in South Africa, they wrote something about me that an Alhaji and I were getting married in America. It wasn't true, I was in South Africa and they said I was in America. Then I was working in South Africa. They said that I went to his office and his wife saw me in the office and embarrassed me. They said me and the wife got into a fight, that people had to come to separate us. I had a relationship and I was very heartbroken. I've had lots of them like that. Some people actually believed that story but there was a mix up. That story shattered me at the time. Why did you refuse a marriage proposal from your boyfriend A man cannot just come out and tell me to stop what I'm doing because he wants to marry me. I'm not desperate for marriage. Marriage will come when it will come. My man will come when it's the right time for him to appear. When my husband comes, he won't tell me to stop what I'm doing. My husband would be my fan and love what I'm doing, my husband would encourage me. Your boyfriend was telling you to leave acting for him? Yes, and become a complete housewife. I'm an Anambra girl, we don't do like that. We're hardworking women. That's the kind of blood I'm born with; I can't just leave what I'm doing. Marriage is not a do or die affair What about dating Senators, Governors and Politicians, is it true or false? I have friends all over. It doesn't necessarily mean you're dating the person but you know how the world is, if they see you with someone or you're friends with someone, they conclude you're dating the person. |
