At this point, the use of force has to be employed in rescuing the kidnapped victims. I cannot rule out the possibility of collateral damage as some of the victims may be killed in the process. Should the government proceed with the negotiations with this kind of demand from the kidnappers, they should be ready for more at a very high scale in the state.

These people are actually so audacious in their demand for weapons and integrating them in that land. Let’s see how it goes.

There’s never been in history of any country that have successfully seceded by mere submission of a secession petition that’s the highest stage foolery, secession that is not done through conflict or war outbreaks like the Bangladesh-Pakistan in 1971 is done by referendum like Norway Sweden in 1905.
If truly they want secession just like the Uk govt has rightly said they should approach their home country for it maybe they could grant them referendum for that. UK has no power to secede a country from another that’s the height of ignorance I see Sunday’s move as clownish and lack substance

No country can compel another sovereign state to secede a section of a country. That will be a violation of their sovereignty and national integrity. Not even the UN commands such respect.

The FG is sick. So, they want to pay members of an association because of the evil agenda they want to achieve in the education sector. The education sector in Nigeria is terrible and all they could think of is their evil agenda.

One of the many questions to ask is, how come there was no graduation of students during the months of strike if truly this other association were working. Also, what proof do they have of carrying out their duties during the period of strike. This government is sick and terribly sick at that.

Seriously Bihari must be commended for dealing with them this time around. Imagine wasting a whole academic session and elongating students stay on campus because of your own personal gain

I need your help guys. It's been a while I've been trying to install WhatsApp on my device (Tecno spark 7) but it's never been successful. It keeps saying "app not installed".

I have cleared my cache several times and did all that Google play store suggested but all to no avail. This only happens to WhatsApp application as I'm able to download and any other apps.

I'd be happy if nairalanders could help me with solution to this.

I condemn this act in all its entirety and hope the perpetrators are brought to book.

The govt harsh economic policies especially in this regime are one of the major reasons for an act like this. The govt is beginning to overtax her citizens without creating jobs or improving the standard of living of her citizens. The masses can barely afford basic needs of life.

When man becomes helpless, hopeless and his money, fame and power could not save him, he easily turns to religion where he could find solace. Well at least, that'd give her a little hope and relieve her a bit.

It's so sad that the judicial system of this country has really gone to the dogs and has become where might is right. Definitely the accused students' parents have people in the helms of power. It's a sad reality really.
