Ekiti State Governor, Mr Ayodele Fayose has challenged President Muhammadu Buhari to prosecute the Yobe State Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC), Abu Zarma, who was alleged to have received N15 million bribe to influence the Yobe State Governorship election.

In a release issued by his Special Assistant on Public Communications and New Media, Lere Olayinka, Governor Fayose said it was worrisome that despite that details of the two bank accounts of the INEC REC, which showed that N15 million was lodged into his accounts few days to the April 11 election was admitted as evidence by the Governorship Election Petition Tribunal in the state, the REC has not been charged to court.

I have it on good authority, that these are silly lies coming from, the President. I can recall, more than one occasion, when I tuned into the NTA and saw an advert of the President's electoral mandate. On the contrary, the television station, known as TVC, rarely aired an advert of the PDP. For the APC, to do well, the President needs to let go of his bigotry, and stop dividing the country along ethnic lines. No leader, be it military or civilian, ever succeeded in ruling our country by promoting disunity.

Have your nominees said anything Maupe Ogun of Channels TV won't discuss even better? Who among them can transform this nation better than "Sam Adeyemi", a public speaker if the criteria were to be comportment, statistical and business intelligence?


If you must school anyone, beg your nominees to tutor your PRESIDENT who's apparently clueless of certain and key sectors of the Nigerian business.

I also saw some hypocrites insulting the Northern senator who couldn't speak well in the senate, meanwhile these same set of people were among those who installed Muhammadu Buhari, same man we barely hear whenever he talks.

The candidate of All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA), Chris Nkwonta, had petitioned the tribunal seeking nullification of Abaribe’s election on the basis of electoral irregularities.

Speaking with SaharaReporters by phone, Senator Abaribe said his team were confused about the ruling stating that his legal team has applied for a Certified true copy of the judgement so as to guide him in deciding on an appropriate response.
